Visited Marco for a week....looking for decent places to eat and listen to some live music. Came across the Boardroom and decided to take a visit. First off, it was difficult to find. Tough place to locate because there is very little signage. We were able to find it after driving around a bit. We found a nice parking spot in the rear of the hotel that it sits beside. Upon entering the area where the music stage is set up, we noticed a decent crowd with everyone sitting and enjoying the music. The bar is inside where everyone goes to get a drink. The service was good...a couple of bartenders ready to help, if needed. The crowd was mainly older adults....ages 40-65 would be my guess. The music was good....all the hits from the Eagles to Nirvana to James Taylor. As a first timer, it was kind of confusing where to order food. However, I did not notice food being served. I did notice a small restaurant set up in a small seperate building but there was no one eating in there. I guess the bartenders take the order and then deliver the food. Would I go back? Went with a group of 9 ladies to have dinner, drinks, and watch live music. We found the food to be good to very good. Loved the chips (both regular or sweet potatoes) that came with most of our orders. You need to order at the bar, get a number, and they bring out the food. They give you your drink orders at the bar, and the food came out hot without a long wait. It was a busy night and this restuarant handled it well. After we finished our meals, the staff was very quick in clearing the tables. The tables to watch the band were outside and is first come first serve. We came early since we were a large group. It's not a big space so most seats have great views of the band. The band was very good; they had a great saxophone player and the singer got the crowd engaged in some of the songs. Had q wonderful time at The Boardroom Tavern with my son and grandson. The food was delicious.

We had a great experience at Little Bar Goodland. Lora was our server and she was super friendly and helpful with the menu. We sat outside and really enjoyed the relaxed waterfront vibe. The buffalo shrimp and lobster tail were both delicious. Solid food, great service, and a perfect spot for a casual dinner--we'll definitely be back. read more

I had so much fun here! Some people said the food was not good but my French Dip was amazing. The bar tenders were so much fun and even the owner made a point to hand out with me. The musician on Thursday night, Eric Whitener was great and played all the songs you hope to hear. The people watching were also great. The Boardroom is such a hidden gem on Marco Island! We went last night after exploring the area and were looking for a good dinner spot that was low key. We were greeted at the bar by super friendly bartenders and decided to eat right there. Tony, the bartender, introduced himself and gave us great recommendations for food. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich that was coated in honey and a pot roast sandwich. You get to pick your sides and we chose their Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The food was super delicious and had a great southern vibe. We are moving onto the island this week and we definitely believe we found our new hangout spot. They had live music and the solo singer was fantastic! This is the place to go! Kudos to our bartender Tony for the great conversation and making us feel so welcomed moving to the island! We came here to listen to live music and have a few cocktails. It had rained that day so the band was playing inside which is fine but the room is very small. We ordered one round of drinks and sat down in the back of the bar. My husband who is a bourbon drinker (I am not) noticed they had a specific type of bourbon I went up to bar to order and the bartender told me they did not have it and gave me the run down of several others I ordered one $12 and gave her $15. My husband can see the bottle from our seats and goes back up to the bar to get what he wanted. The bartender insisted they didn't have it. My husband had to walk around to other side of the bar and show her they had the specific bourbon he wanted. She was extremely rude and argued with him about having to brand he wanted. I would recommend the management give their bartender an update on their inventory and a lesson in politeness. The band and atmosphere was fun but a friendly bartender would have made the experience much better. read more

What a great find! My wife and I were in Marco Island and just wanted to stop by someplace for some drinks and when we left our hotel we heard live music from somewhere nearby. Great setting to watch Dino's Trio perform. Food and drinks are all good. Looking forward to going back next weekend to watch them perform.
