Even if the getaway is in your mind.. #Amazing! I met some lovely ladies who assisted me with amazing soft scrubs, body washes, as well as lotions... Each set of items were different in what senses to attract: Happy Buddha, DAO, Sakura, Hammam, and so much more..I enjoy each of their salt scrub...#Awesome! I bought a few things to use as a part of my "relaxing" Me time, and was quite satisfied. It was my first time here, so when I entered, I walked straight to the counter to get help for the specific product I was looking for. There was a man working at the counter, who smiled and appeared friendly. When I asked him to direct me to the product I was looking for, it was in one of the center aisles near the register. I stood there browsing the section for the product, and I felt eyes on me. I brushed off the feeling, but when I picked up the item off the shelf and turned around to walk back towards the register, I caught the man starting at me intently. He stood there at the edge of the front counter watching me look at the items on the shelf. I'm not even the type of person to touch things on the shelf, unless I am picking it up to buy it. Also, I wasn't carrying any bags, just a small coin purse. So his need to watch me felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I still foolishly decided to purchase the product I was looking for, despite being watched like some sort of criminal and despite the product being overpriced. When I got home to use the product, it had already been opened. I didn't bother to take it back to the store because the receipt notes no refunds. What a waste. I won't be back here & don't recommend this place. There are plenty of other beauty supply stores in the area that I can happily spend my money on unopened products without being profiled.

Was told to wait two hours for that person to finish... two turned into four hours later. I asked for the price many times and no response. Finally one of the ladies tells me the price ($180) I said okay (though I think it was over priced and I brought the hair). Once I sat in the chair and the lady started, about two rows of braids she states that the price is now $200. I looked up and said no, the other lady said it was 180, she said no it's 20 because it's human hair. I was so pissed and disappointed, over the process already I said fine. The lady who did my hair is Astou Toure. On top of that she asked if I could help separate the hair. So I did that for the whole head. I left covered in hair, luckily I wasn't going out later that night after the salon. To the end the miserable night, she didn't even curl my lose ends or cut them the length I wanted despite telling her to do so. I went home cut the length. Showed my friends, all said I paid too much. Showed them that my own hair is not tucked in the braids, and almost cried. I will never recommend this place to anyone nor return. Don't go there! Update 2 days later: two braids came out even after protecting it to go to sleep. Some of the lose strands never curled, not even with a Flat iron and I had to cut them out. Some strands weren't even the full length or even half of the length of they hair. Never going there again. Smh
