Last night I walked past a security guard. WALKED I didn't stumble, I didn't fall, I was not causing any trouble whatsoever. Nor did I do any of that through out the night. I was just walking to the next room with my aunts and the security looked straight at me and said she gotta go. FOR NO REASON. Literally follows me to the next room and grabs me and pulls me outside. And I kept asking them why and they didn't give me a reason. They said you wanna speak to the manager I said YES! When the manager comes out she goes well it looks like you already had some drinks before you got here. I'm like no, I've been here for 2 whole hours buying drinks at your establishment...I've been having drinks HERE what do you even mean. And she walks away from me. She literally did not give a damn. When I asked the bouncer they stated, it's to make sure if they need to kick someone out they have their data to ban them, so for safety. While patronscan says it doesn't collect sexual orientation, it won't take much to know you were at this gay bar. Won't be coming back if they continue this policy. They say it's only kept in the system for 30days but since patronscan uses other reporting analytics they actually keep data for more than two years. This is a FYI. The space itself feels oddly empty most of the time, which creates a pretty awkward atmosphere rather than an inviting one. The aesthetic also feels mismatched and underwhelming--like it's trying to be something it's not, but never quite gets there. There are so many other places that JUST DO IT BETTER.
