For starters, we drove over to the gravel parking lot and looked up at the parking lot to see goats - it always brings a smile to my face! Then we went to where the ceremony would be held by walking on the gravel from where you parked. The spot where the ceremony was held was beautiful with all the flowers and the water behind it. The barn was very nice, with vast chandeliers and other details. The bathrooms were nice, and the women had three or four stalls, which is appreciated. It held around 80 - 90 people comfortably. As a guest, I thought it was a really nice venue, and I'd be glad if a friend had their wedding there!

I placed a reservation request in the morning, and they called me in the early afternoon to let me know there was availability, which was great. I appreciated the variety of 15 wines from which you could sample to create your tasting. My picks consisted of: -2020 Sauvignon Blanc -2020 Fusion (white) -2020 Cellar 1599 Riesling: Cellar 1599 is a Waltz label, for reference. -2018 Cellar 1599 Red Blend -2017 Baron Red I won't go into detail on my experiences with each wine, but I did have a glass (and then buy a bottle) of the Riesling. The tastings come in little tasting tubes that are basically test tubes. While some might find that unusual, I'm a science person, so I liked it! They also have a cheese board (choose one of four cheeses) with chocolate and crackers, which I added. The tasting room staff were friendly and accessible. It was a beautiful day and lots of families were out on the large lawn. Too bad there isn't a restaurant here, or it would be even more of a win. In any case, Waltz is a winner!

Our daughter wanted to have a "teen nightclub" themed dance party for her 14th birthday! At that age it's really challenging to find a venue for a great party that is safe and supervised, but also, crazy fun! Rachael helped us put together a party that was the "talk of the school" event! Everyone was buzzing about this party! Rachael, with the help of some other fantastic companies, like LEO party rentals, and BELLY caterers put together a very reasonably priced and very trendy dance party for Emma and her friends.
