I have heard of this place for years and finally tried it out. The service is great and was impressed with the overall cleanliness. The breakfast burrito was average sized at a decent price. Solid ingredients but I wouldn't say its a Top 10 Breakfast Burrito in Orange County. Awesome place hope it stays open and I'll return when I'm near the area.

A bizarre experience to say the least. But bizarre isn't bad; it's just different! I came here on a…read moreday off to try my hand at what is allegedly one of OC's best breakfast burritos. I came right at opening, and I think I must have been the first customer in the store! I quickly ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and was asked if I wanted green or red salsa. I opted for both. The wait was reasonable, and I ended up getting my food after about 5-10 minutes. During the wait time, I perused the wine selection, and, while I don't know much about wine, it seemed like a great selection at a glance. I guess they also operate as a wine bar in the evening hours, because there was seating and in the place. Anyways, onto the burrito itself. It came with thick bacon, which I like, eggs, cheese, and tater tots. A simple, but tried and true method. I thought it was alright. It was acceptable for a breakfast burrito, and i thought the portion was reasonable. It didn't wow me, so it doesn't go higher on the rating. However, let's talk the salsa. I actually really enjoyed the salsa from here. Both the green and red were delicious, and it made the whole meal. The green was a creamy avocado (not spicy) that was rich and vegetal, and the red was a pretty spicy fresh-tasting one. I was meh on the burrito, but saved by the salsa for sure. Maybe I came on an off day, because I'm convinced with salsa like that, you've gotta be making a quality product.

Beans taste homemade and traditionally made. Salsa had a little kick to it but not too spicy. Ordered the parrillada; the chicken was tender and moist. The shredded pork carnitas were crispy yet juicy. The steak was perfectly medium rare and tender to eat. Shrimp was cooked beautifully and firm. The corn was cold but it was still good! Came with a side of onions and jalapenos. The flour tortillas were taco sized. Great shareable plate for 2-3 people. Had the virgin margarita and it was one of the best virgin drinks I've had. Not just a bunch of sugar and soda water like other mocktails. It had freshly made syrups and with chunks of cucumbers. So refreshing!

The sign said to wait to be seated, but my dad waited around for about 10 minutes without seeing anyone at the host stand. The bartender told him it was okay to go outside & find an available table, so we weren't trying to skip any rules...we were just following what we were told. When we finally spoke with the hostess, she explained she was trying to manage multiple tables, which was understandable, but the communication could have been a little clearer. Once we sat down, everything was great. The drinks were delicious, we enjoyed a quick snack with chips and guacamole, & the service was friendly & efficient. We didn't try the food, but it seems like a nice spot for a casual drink or quick bite. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back.

Shopped around online to find a good deal for Johnny Walker Blue, a birthday gift for my husband. Total Wine surely had one of the best prices. When they offered 3 winery direct wines for 15% off, I couldn't help but to purchase. My favorite winery direct wines include Bottega champagne, 1858, and Unanime. I find it convenient to order online. You can search through for all the wines and reviews, and select the time you want to pick up. Once it is ready, they notify you. Makes ordering and picking up super easy. My husband enjoyed his gift this weekend, and I enjoyed my wine as well. Always a pleasure to shop at Total Wine & More.
