Whoa! This place is a gem in a hidden plaza of Lake Forest. I am not one for liquor stores but lemme tell ya, this location has a looooot of alcohol to choose from and a looooot of sales to go with it. You've got your bottles and your cans and they even have this neat beer cave you can go into if you're into that sort of stuff. They do have a variety of puff bars and lotto tickets here as well. So I went to this store and after making a purchase asked for a receipt. The sales clerk gave a credit card receipt that only listed a total amount that I paid. Then I asked for an itemized receipt that would show exactly what I bought and not just a total amount. The clerk became visibly irritated with my absolutely lawful request. He looked irritated a rudely told me that "we don't steal money here" while printing a receipt for me. I told him that I just needed a receipt. Then this clerk started to yell at me that if I don't trust them I should not come to that Cosmo Liquor store ever again. I told him to stop screaming at me in front of my 2 young children. I shop in that store quite often and this is the first time I ever saw this dude there and he was super aggressive and rude. Don't come to that store unless you want to be yelled and cursed on by the sales clerk ! read more

This is definitely one of the better liquor stores I've visited. Very clean and beautiful displays that showcase some of the best spirits in the world. The selection and variety is vast, and I was pleasantly surprised with the great bottles on the premium shelves. The location has ample parking, and easy to access. The owners are incredibly kind and very welcoming. I would highly recommend anyone to come to this location, even if you have to make a slightly longer drive. I can assure you it's worth it! Great, little boutique liquor store! Has everything from 2 buck chuck to expensive cognac! I called in asking to see if they had a certain liquor and the lady that answered said they had 3 and she would hold them for me. She allowed me to open the boxes to see what letter was on top of the bottle so I could choose the one I wanted. I won't say what the liquor is because I don't want other people going there to get it. Haha! Anyways, I will continue to go there. read more

If i could give this liquor store 10 stars I totally would. This liquor store is the best. After the transition of new ownership/management they are well stocked and the variety is great. The owner is really nice and helpful. Its so convenient to have a liquor store who actually has what you want in stocked. This is an awesome place to buy Liquor or just about anything. This coming from someone who doesn't drink. I was in town for business staying at the Hilton down the road. I wanted to buy some gifts for the employees at the Corporate Office. The owners were very helpful with assisting me with selections. They also gave me gift bags for 18+ bottles I purchased. They were also nice enough to help me bring the items to the car. If I'm ever in CA again, will be stopping by to make more purchases again to give away. Best local liquor store. This place stepped up their game once they transitioned to new ownership/management. They are fully stocked and they have a good variety. I was on the hunt for a special and particular tequila. I had been to and called 5 places total. Cosmo Liquor had what I desperately wanted. When I called, the woman I spoke to was extremely helpful.
