And, of course, as their name implies, the featured activity is axe throwing. Tossing a dangerous tool, trying to stick it in a wooden wall, and hitting the target for maximum points is harder than it looks. Fritz's was open.... being a bar I had my doubts.... and I walked in. First of all, no cigarett smoke. Even though I was by myself, I felt perfectly at ease sitting at the bar. I was given the food choices (no menu) and selected pound burger with pepper cheese. Accompanied of course by a glass of a local Wisconsin beer on tap. I took one bite and said to myself, what have I found! Crazy good burger. Bun was toasted and perfectly crispy. Ample amount of cheese. Onions served raw or grilled. Meat was juicy. Next time we were in town, I took my husband and he thought the same thing. A glass of draft beer and two burgers came to a total of $10. I left a $3 tip. I was that impressed.
