Terrible experience. I ordered from them on the 13th. Before ordering, I chatted with a rep to find out when it would ship. They said the following day. The next day I received a shipping notification. The package never ships. It sat and sat until they finally gave it to UPS on the 20th. I asked them about it, and they told me it had to ship from the East Coast. And?! What does that have to do with the holding the order for an entire week after claiming they shipped it. On top of that, they didn't even pack the boxes and all of mine are white. They wrapped them in plastic wrap that was coming off by the time they were delivered. I don't know about this company. I can't say enough nice things about this company! I've been ordering boxes and other shipping supplies from them for a couple of years now and the prices, product quality and shipping costs are all competitive, reasonable and fair. But most of all, their customer service is old-school, top notch, and personal. In a day and age where calling almost any company results in having to work through an incompetent and wholly frustrating automated phone system (if they even provide a phone number!), only to (maybe) eventually reach a human who is often poorly trained or has no power to do anything, the Boxery stands head and shoulders above everyone. They are so good that I wish they could go train other businesses on how to execute customer service. Kudos to the ownership, management, and front-line employees here. I placed an order for numerous sizes of boxes. They delayed the order because I was a first time buyer and my business office is in one state and my shipping warehouse is in another state. The order was paid on the company credit card but they demanded PayPal because I have a corporate office and a warehouse in two different states. I had to take a time out of my day to go over to Grainger on the other side of town to buy. Complete nonscience. Never ordering from that Mickey Mouse organization again. read more

My first contact with this company was Feb17 where I asked for a quote on a large number of boxes. It took 8 days of back and forth for them to quote me; the quote was the same price as the one on their website so no savings for the hassle. I had read on forums that they will give discounts. I placed an order on Feb 26 late in the day. It took them 27th to March 4 (4 working days) to ship. Shipping was reasonably priced and compared to free from Uline, I still saved a few dollars on the box order. I was looking for an alternative to Uline but I guess now I realize how great Uline actually is: same day shipping for next day delivery with no hassles. In the end, I think I will stick with Uline. read more

I was looking to buy 100 of 12x12x8 shipping cardboard boxes last night for a big batch of shipments the next day. Unfortunately, Staples don't carry that many in store, and if you were to order online or in store, you'd need to wait for a couple days for your order to arrive. So I looked up online and found this place. They do have various dimension of boxes at reasonable prices and also offer a pickup. Mine was 60 cents apiece. So I placed my order at night and picked it up in the morning at their location in Brooklyn. It was quick and easy. I will use them again if I need dozens of cardboard boxes. read more

I was looking for a company to be my sole supplier of shipping supplies and the Boxery looked like a good candidate. Upon receiving my items, I received a case of tape that was not the same as what I had ordered and entire bundle of boxes were damaged and looked as if they had gotten wet. I contacted customer service with pictures of the damaged boxes and the incorrect items, but received no response, even after 2 weeks. I can forgive the damaged boxes, as it may have been the fault of the shipping company that delivered the items. But the fact I have received no contact from customer service about any replacements or reimbursement after several weeks is unforgiveable. Cool logo, but unpredictable service.. Thought this place was going to be my go-to packaging solution, but after forgetting to ship my boxes, or misplacing them or whatever, then blaming it on UPS... I can't trust them. Customer service was as helpful as you'd expect.. they offered to ship out new boxes, but my deadline was already missed. They gave me a refund. I didn't think it was possible to be offended by an order of shipping supplies until I ordered bubble bags from their website. They came thrown into an enormous box all crumpled up. The previous person gave one star for the UPS shipping cost? That's ridiculous, if the shipment was 40lbs, 2nd day, etc. that's how much shipping costs. They're great for me, and sometimes we'll get a same day delivery since we're in the area. Even if we don't, they're service is great, they're prices are fair, and we've never had any issue with them ever. They're consistent on everything we've used them for. Yelp isn't the most popular review portal for shipping supply companies, but they've been so good that I can't let that past review be the only one up. I recently started buying boxes and bubble plastic wrap form the Boxery. They sent me an old plastic bubble that breaks as soon as you touch it. I had 7 broken items because of their poor quality bubble plastic. They charged me tax even though I am a business with a TAX ID. The owner never call back to explain and fix the problem.
