By 5:30pm they still hadn't called back. I called and they answered and said they were short staffed and must of just missed our ticket. Said they would call the technician and see where he was at and they would come out tonight still. They texted me at 6:00pm and said they can't come out today that it'll have to be the next day at 2:00pm. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

Update: After leaving a review about my experience with this company. I received a phone call from a completely different number (possibly the same guy) asking me to remove a review since I was not a customer. I assumed he was calling on behalf of another company since he said, they "locksmiths?" are a close-knit community and that he's asking me nicely to remove it (again, possibly the same guy). So, I go back to look at the messages and I notice a picture of the same guy for 2 different companies. Like, what type of scam is this? (Ok, more than likely the same guy) To be fair, this guy wasn't rude, he used please thank you and even told me to have a good day before WE ended the call. It was the type of conversation I wish we'd had the first go-around. Ha, go figure. I've attached a photo of both companies. (Ok, it's definitely the same guy) I want to reiterate that I am NOT a customer and I chose NOT to use their services and I won't use the clone company's services either. Good customer service doesn't start when money exchanges hands, it starts from the moment someone interacts with your business. The fact that I am not a customer doesn't negate your responsibility to treat me kind and with respect. Sir, I wish you the best moving forward.

After a few warm days it became obvious that this was not the case. I called Ames and Ryan was at my building in less than an hour! He was able to diagnose the issue in just a few minutes, and it's working better than ever. He was also very thorough, making sure to ask if the building had a master key system which he should account for. Despite advertising emergency service, and calling well within posted "business hours", after more than 24 hours I still have not had any response. This was the case for all three local locksmiths I called on a Saturday. My mom had a doorknob fail on a kitchen door between her back door and the main part of the house. This locked her out entirely. She is injured and preparing for surgery Monday, so it was particularly concerning to have her stuck outside. Ultimately, a friend was able to come by to remove the trim and get it open with a credit card for her. I moved to the state of Oregon 20 years ago, so my number is no longer a local area code. Despite calling for (and clearly noting) I needed help for a home in Toledo, perhaps this played a role? Or they could not come anytime soon and couldn't be bothered to just call to say as much? No idea. All I know is they not only did not have a prompt response, but I got no response whatsoever. Certainly, can't get behind that. But based on my experience trying 3 local providers, all with good reviews; If you need someone ASAP - and especially if you have to leave messages - definitely call multiple companies to be sure someone calls back. And it sounds like calling again is smart if you are ever stuck waiting around without any responses. I haven't needed an emergency locksmith for 15 years, so this was certainly a reacquaintance/learning experience. I've learned something useful about how to best get in contact with one! Don't avoid this company because of this; just cast yourself a wide net of inquiries and then don't worry about calling them (or anyone else) again if you are in a more urgent situation and need help.

It was a Friday night, after hours, and they were afraid they might have to spend the night inside this gated compound. We called Speedy locksmith to break off the lock so they could get out. The locksmith has integrity and did not want to break the lock and leave the compound unprotected, so he spent time to research the company and track down the owner - on a Friday night! He ended up NOT getting any payment for this service, but was very helpful, professional, and solved our problem and got our guys out. Thanks so much!
