Pros: They are nice enough to let you sample beers before committing to a full glass. Con: The first three beers I asked for were not available. Id recommend to make a smaller menu of beers that you can keep in stock. If the list is too long, make it smaller! HaHaHahahaha, oh boy, the nachos! There were way too many chips with nothing on them. Who likes to see empty chips? Either charge more to make them right or take it off the dang menu! This spot NEVER disappoints! The food is always fresh and delicious and the drinks are always good! They have TV's every where which is a huge plus! So no matter where you sit you can pretty much see the TV! The last time I went I enjoyed this lavender beverage which was so tasty (my mouth is watering just thinking about it lol) and I tried a couple appetizers, the pretzels and Brussels sprouts. Crazy combo I know but I needed some veggies! They have LOTS of beer choices! Haven't tried those yet but I will next time! Both were fantastic! The customer service is excellent. We were passing through (looking for a taproom) and saw their amazing menu online & we had to stop! Nitro beers on table are a rarity & My "prettier half" likes wheat/wheat/hef's... They had an amazing selection of BOTH. And everything between. Our Beer-tender (Jordan) was not only super knowledgeable, but he was genuinely excited to answer our questions and to share his favorite recommendations. It's rare to have the person taking your order really interested in what you like. They're usually just looking for the quickest way to pout you a beer and move on to the next. Not my man Jordan. He slowed me down & asked about flavor profiles to go above and beyond in the way most wouldn't have. I can't tell you how much this meant. I asked about one of the newer beers on tap. He wasn't familiar. Instead of just BS'ing me: he asked another employee if they were hip toy request. (Cue "Britani") She not only knew about the draft selection... But brought out some top level bottled and canned beers for us to try! These were types/styles/variations I've never even heard of! My usual 5 minute review has turned into 20mins of typing. The service was great. The establishment was very clean. They have a great selection of beers on tap. The food presentation was also very good. The food looked yummy. We got there for Happy Hour and ordered 3 items from that menu: chicken nachos, Korean BBQ sliders, and cheeseburger w/fries. We also ordered the Panchos Tots off of their regular menu. What was disappointing was the food; flavoring (saltiness) and freshness (lack thereof). My husband enjoyed his sliders and we both liked the chicken nachos. We would give those two items a 4/5 stars. The exception the Pace Picante style, store bought salsa that was served on the side of the nachos. FYI- some of the fresh jalapeños were beyond spicy! This is no ding on the restaurant as fresh produce/peppers is difficult to guaje, and you can't ever guess how spicy they will be. What was disappointing was the cheeseburger, fries and Panchos tots. First, I asked if they could add onion to my burger and they said they didn't have onion; which I found odd for a restaurant, given that some items in their menu required onion (like the salsa and toppings on the Poncho tots). Then I asked if they could add avocado and the server said yes, but instead what I got was "guacamole" on the side. Which by the way got to the table with the chicken nachos, so we thought they were part of the nachos. Later we found out it was the "avocado" I had ordered. This "guacamole" was super processed and not fresh at all. You can tell it comes in a bag (frozen) or a tub. Put it this way, Subway has fresher guacamole than this. The meat patty also didn't taste fresh. It looked like a frozen meat patty that was grilled on a skillet or flat top. The perfectly round shape of the meat patty pretty much told me it was frozen/store bought. It tastes like that too. I love crinkly fries and tater tots so I was really looking forward to these, and sadly, they were extremely over salted. Weirdly so, the top ones were okay (both fries and tots) but the ones on the bottom of the basket were too salty to enjoy. By then we had eaten about 1/3 of them, so we were embarrassed to say anything. I will say that the first couple of bites of the Panchos tots were good; the white melted cheese is delicious. We were enjoying them until we got to the over-salted portion. By then, they were inedible. The same for the fries. The first few were good, and then they got saltier and saltier. Wish I could given them a 3.5/5 overall, but I can't. read more

Girlfriend went here today for a quick lunch and beer she ordered her beer and to her surprise the bar tender was very excited to give his opinion on her choice "oh that beer sucks" which a regular sitting at the bar with him decided to chime in with the same opinion she said oh okay. Half hour later she makes another choice. Again bar tender tells her oh that one sucks too. Idk who this mid day Monday bartender was but you should train your employs on how to interact with customers who have a choice to visit any where they want. This is my go to place to eat. When I was pregnant I craved the pretzel and the wings all the time. I would have a Michelada with soda water since I couldn't have beer. I love how there is a beer selection for me and a cocktail selection for my fiancé. It is the best of both worlds. I've been to a few brew-tap breweries in Southern California and nothing sticks out more than Brass Tap in Corona, CA. Though recently opened during the Covid-19 pandemic and currently offering outdoor seating, the inside dinning area is large, shiny, and CLEAN. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and it was refreshing to hear from someone that gives an honest opinion on the brews they offer, most of which are great choices. I'd recommend starting with the La Verne Bonez Pale Ale and work your way to a Epic Son of Baptist Stout. BTW, don't forget the chicken nachos and thickk style flatbread pizzas in-between. It's not your ordinary canned yellow cheeze, it was all made fresh to order! I wish I had this place when I was back in college at CPP, I'd be here all the time! read more

Because of COVID, we can only dine outside) Met the gracious owners (Paavn & Alissa) who, along with their staff, welcomed me graciously. Tried out their flights of local beer, which was served nicely chilled. Their menu appeared to be pretty solid though I did not have a chance to try because I just came from another eatery and was not hungry (my bad). ABSOLUTLEY YUCK!!! Ordered 3 burgers and tacos totaling just under $70. BIG FAT WASTE OF $$. The impossible burgers were OK the jalapeno burger was not at all that was in the description. No fried jalapenos, no jalapeno cream cheese just raw sliced jalapenos, seeds and all in a bun with a burger patty. Ok, so I know business are struggling during COVID, and also because of the dine-in restrictions that have been put in place. That said, I really appreciate (and missed) the ability to go into a restaurant and enjoy the fares and being able to interact with others (safely, of course!). However, I also know how vital it is go get things right, especially when trying to rebuild a customer base when so much has been on hiatus. We decided to go out on a Friday night, which has been incredibly rare lately, and figured we should start with a local business that had opened not too long before all the restrictions started. We began with the drinks. We both ordered their Blood Orange Tequila Sour, which was more like an unsweetened margarita with maybe a small hint of blood orange rind. We also each had a draught beer, which were very good and I do recommend. Next was the chips and salsa. $6 for what was evidently Pace Picante and bagged grocery store chips. It was a small portion, barely enough for 2 people if they weren't that hungry. I mean, what is normally endless at most restaurants and made in-house was clearly off the shelf and lacking in both quality and quantity. For $6. For our meals, my husband ordered a bbq sweet heat burger and was unfortunately very underwhelmed by it. There was no heat, the patty was most likely previously frozen and, aside from the onion straws and bacon, it was mostly just a bbq burger from Carl's Jr. The fries were definitely previously frozen crinkle-cut, and while they were nicely salted, they were nothing special and, quite honestly, underwhelming. I ordered the kogi dog....it was mostly bun, with some hipster toppings that didn't do the sausage any justice. The slaw could have been a bit more flavorful, and the same fries came with that dish. Service was ok, our drinks came fast, but we didn't get a check-in or napkins until we asked at the end of our dinner. This place is good if you want that OC hipster-y beer drinking environment, but it lacks hard in the food area. The menu is quite large and covers so many bases I feel it's hard for a kitchen to catch its bearings, or even keep up with any preparation it would take to keep this menu going. I hope this place finds its rhythm soon and keeps up the grind as it does have so much potential. read more

Raspberry lemon drop was tasty but could have been a lot stronger. She wings however were perfect, we chose Korean bbq and their house flavor. Giving three stars because they seemed to have enough staff yet we had to wait a bit to order, then to switch our drink out, had to wait a bit for the check. They seemed to have a lot of Staff walking around so I'm not sure why one staff had to service multiple tables on his own. We sat outside in the patio. Our table had a gate right next to us with flowers. A bug landed in our drink, we had to wait for our server, and then ask for the drink to be switched out. The beer was almost completely full still. I just realized they charged me For another beer which I find pretty unfair. They should not have charged me another beer when there is a bug in my drink floating around. You could clearly see the bug too. Did they expect us just to drink it anyways? Not happy that we were charged twice for something that's not our fault. Won't be back for that reason. read more

We haven't really had a dish we didn't like from here. Sometimes the service is a hit or miss, we've had great waitresses and some that really didn't look like they wanted to be there. There's an indoor and outdoor spot, it's not a gigantic place or anything fancy, but if you want good food and beer this is a great spot. I had high hopes for this place. They currently only have outdoor seating. Our seat location was under the sun. It took them a while to get the cover over us so we were hot. My poor sons cheeks were turning red and he was getting frustrated (he's only two). We had someone greet us to take our order then mumble something and walk away, then we had a new server come and she seem rushed to take our order. As we waited, it was still hot until about 30mins in, when, the covering was finally pulled over (after having to ask again). Upon our food coming out, I ordered the jalapeño cheeseburger (I would self advise against ordering it) it was dry and there were none of the sauces that the menu description listed on there. It took me 20mins for a server to come so I can request additional sauce (that they charged me for when it was suppose to already come on the burger). I did not get the sauce for about another 30mins--so at this point the burger is cold. I asked for the check and a to go box. I finally get the sauce after my fiancée asks again. Please keep in mind, every other table is being attended to. As the only minority guest to be seated at the time, this was a red flag to me. After getting our check, I still had no to go bag so I had to physically leave my table and go inside to get it myself. As me and my family left, the initial server in the beginning who mumbled, yells "did they pay?"...I yelled back yes I paid. For them to give horrible service but yell loudly and question my character and if I paid was beyond me. Let's see if I can get some justification. read more

So we have been to brass tap multiple times and never had an issue, well today that changed. I came in with my family which was my wife, sister, and 2 year old daughter. As we were setting up our daughter's high chair and placed her in it I grabbed out her blueberries to eat, as I did that we were approached by our waitress (who was great) but she proceeded to tell us that there is no outside food allowed, I was confused because we have never had anyone tell us this, and I proceeded to tell her they are just for my 2 year old daughter because she allergies, then she said that the owner tells them no outside food, so I kindly asked to speak with the owner/ manager and she said okay I'll get them. So the owner comes up and we say hi and he goes I heard you wanted to talk with me. So I said yes I would, I told him that we have came here multiple times and have never had an issue with bring my daughters food and that we have never had an issue anywhere else. He then said that they don't allow outside food due to insurance reasons and I said that's interesting and proceeded to tell him that it's just berries and that we are still going to be ordering food and said we will just leave if it's a problem and he said no no it's okay if it's for the baby and I said okay thank you and then he said but in the future for your information the FDA does not allow outside food in private establishments, and I said since when I have never heard of that, (granted I do not work in the food industry so I could be wrong) long story short he ended up letting us feed our daughter the food we brought. But as we were leaving we noticed that our neighbors were unhappy so we got talking to them and it turned that the restraint forgot one of their drinks and by the end of their meal they said to just take it off and the waiter said he would go talk with the owner/ manager and that he would be right back, after he came back he told the customer that the he was told he can't remove it from the bill and to tell the customer to just take it out of his tip!! I took my mom out to lunch there yesterday where we ordered fried shrimp to start and we each got a burger for our meals, one with fries and one with brussels sprouts. Shrimp - salty and WAY over breaded. They were also brought to us with no plates, flatware or napkins Burgers - stale buns, SUPER overcooked, the thinnest, driest, tasteless, unlikely meat patty ever. I assume most people enjoy a feel-good story. Here's one for you: Pandemic...most businesses are shut down...some shutting their doors for good...yet this establishment found a way to open theirs and thrive despite those circumstances. Moral of the story? Diamonds are formed under pressure. Let me be clear: I had an exceptional experience here. Acknowledging the seriousness of needing to slow the transmission of Covid-19, and embracing that this is the new "normal" for the foreseeable future, one cannot take the little details lightly that ensure a safe, sterile, and socially distanced environment. From what I observed, the staff consistently practiced CDC protocols for maintaining a clean and serviceable dining area. In addition to the sanitation habits of the staff, the service was top notch. The servers were attentive, but most importantly personable. My wife and I found out that one of the servers, Krisha, is related to the father/son duo of owners. She works full time in LA and then comes out to Corona on the weekends to help her family run the restaurant. I was not surprised to hear that it was a family owned and operated establishment because of how well the team worked together for such a new business. Even more so, I wanted to highlight the selflessness that Krisha displayed, how that carried over to the rest of the staff, and how that translated into great service. I will conclude this review/story with the food. I'm a simple guy. Give me some tasty wings and cold beer and I'm a happy camper. But throw in some BOOM BOOM shrimp and now it's a party.
