Wood Ranch is a great spot for lunch or dinner, especially if you're dining with a larger group. There's plenty of parking, and the restaurant can easily accommodate bigger parties. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. We started with the Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower and the Fresh Guacamole, Chips & Salsa, both were fresh and made for a great start to the meal. The lunch specials are a great value, and the salads are huge if you're looking for a lighter option. Add your choice of protein. The smoked brisket was definitely tender, and smoky. Other BBQ favorites like the tri-tip and baby back ribs are also worth trying. Our server by the name of Dallas is unable to inform her guests of the way Wood ranch Charges parties of 8 or more regarding tips. For me this behavior is just down right sneaky. If you are supposed to inform your guests of this charge and fail to do so then you're not performing professionally. Dallas your misrepresentations to fill your pockets with double tips is just greedy. Shame on you! Service was great! But high-end BBQ is a weird concept made even stranger by the food. The garlic rolls are amazing. They should keep those and build a menu that makes sense around them. I ordered my usual at a new bbq place. (I'm from Kansas City so I eat a lot of bbq). The brisket was on the dry side. The pulled pork was average. The beans were pretty good but the smallest serving on the plate. No potato salad so I went with the peanut slaw. Was a fun presentation in the purple cabbage leaf but the slaw itself was pretty underwhelming. Ordered the butter cake to go. It was, again, underwhelming. Overall, it was an okay meal but not worth the price. And there are better bbq places in Corona. read more

My BFF and I went wedding dress shopping in the area and decided to eat at Wood Ranch afterwards. Our server Tyler greeted us very warmly and helped make us feel comfortable and not rushed at all. We had a ton of questions about what to order and he provided excellent recommendations. He brought us fresh baked rolls right away which were AHMAZING We both ordered the lunch special which came with soup or salad, 2 sliders, and a side. I chose the garden salad, Western tri-tip, the brisket, and Mac N Cheese. The salad was absolutely delicious!! I dug into it before I took a pick so it's blended together but it had the most delicious croutons and fire grilled corn. The ingredients were really fresh and the salad was not over dressed. The sliders were also really good, however, my first bite of the Western one was literally all fat and I had to spit it out. It made the rest of the sandwich unappetizing but I did hunt for any other major fat pockets and didn't see any. Both sliders were really good. If you have a group of four or less, the key is to sit in the bar area to get the Happy Hour, which has specials daily from 3 pm - 6 pm. In the bar area, there are seven tables of four as well as a bar top that can accommodate approximately 14 people. So if you have a small group, you can score and get some great deals on food and alcohol. The bartenders are all awesome. I have had the pleasure of being served by Erica, Julia and Cynthia. Erica has been at the location since 2008, one year after its opening. She is super friendly and loved chatting everyone up. Julia knew so many people by name. I came in recently and before I even sat down, Cynthia remembered my cocktail order. That is a huge bonus in my book. All women have fantastic customer service. I started coming here in a regular basis and really enjoy seeing them. Happy hour had some great options in both food and alcohol. I am a hard liquor drinker so I order the Berry Smash with vodka. It is $2 off the regular price. For food, my go-to's are garlic parmesan fries, spinach and artichoke dip and shredded onions. I recently tried the brisket tacos and they were amazing. There is just a tinge of spice. If you are a fan of meat, you have to try the baby back ribs. The meat falls off the bone went you take your first bite. The sauce is sweet and sticky. Amazing. All are on the happy hour menu. I decided to try the brisket taquitos on my most recent visit. My first taste I fully dipped the taquito in the peach habanero barbecue sauce and that was all I tasted. Couldn't taste the brisket or mashed potatoes in the taquito. My nose immediately started runny. I do not do well with spice. It had good flavor but I had to change to only the sour cream. I think it would be better with an avocado cream. I love that everything is finger food. If you are looking to be dainty and clean, this isn't for you. I bar also eaten the three slider bbq tri tip with sweet potato fries for my dinner. I don't think I have e eaten anything bad here. It can get a little pricey but come during happy hour and you will be OK. Also really like that there is a lot of parking so you don't have to fight for a spot. I love this place. The customer service is top notch. The food is excellent and the drinks are fantastic. I came to Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill this time, and I've been to a few of their other locations too, like Chino Hills, so I already know what they're capable of. Honestly, most of the time the food is amazing and it's been one of those places we could easily make a monthly go to spot. That said, this last visit for dinner just didn't quite hit the way it usually does. The steak was a little tough, and the corn reminded me of the last time we came when it was kind of hard. Nothing terrible, just not what I'm used to from them. We also ordered a couple of non alcoholic drinks, those were actually really refreshing. I don't want to be too hard on them because I've been coming here for over ten years and I can honestly say I've never really had bad service. They're usually really on top of it, and the food is consistently good. I love the beef ribs, and my partner always goes for the baby back ribs, and normally everything, especially the steak, is on point. This time just felt a little off. Maybe it was a different cook or something changed with their meat, I'm not really sure, but it stood out enough to notice. Still, I'd definitely come back and give them another shot because overall they've always been solid. One thing I will say, if you're planning to come here, try to get here before the dinner rush because the wait can get close to two hours. That probably says a lot about how good the food usually is. Woodranch you have some audacity to charge those prices for your steaks and the quality is garbage. I have never eaten a steak so bad in my entire life. The whole stake had so much gristle, I literally almost choked on a piece of steak trying to swallow it. And the crazy thing was, I literally ordered it medium rare, it should have been like butter. It was so incredibly chewy, there was so much connected tissue that I literally had to cut it up, like I was feedinga 4 yo it was ridiculous. The presentation was lame. 10 years ago, you guys used to be the bomb, you guys were probably one of the best steakhouses in the area, now it's trash. Very nice lunch here. Bar is large, pretty and full service for food. We had artichoke dip ( nice garlic flavor) and two slider lunch specials. I had cheeseburger, my husband Carolina pork & both were excellent in brioche buns & cooked just right. With the soup or salad, this is a LOT of food! Slow eaters beware! If your partner is done eating but you still have 3/4 of a steak left on your plate, your waitress will ask you need boxes and bring you the check. Not much if the manager or the waitress want to turn the around quick, but we were rush through our dinner. For the food, the ribeye was cooked perfectly. Best steak I had in this area. The brisket on the other was nothing to write home about. It was drier than a school lunch turkey, which tells me this came out of an oven and not a smoker. My pulled pork with smashed sweet potatoes and asparagus was delicious. I ordered a margarita that was as just ok. I ordered a second drink, a blueberry pomegranate martini, that was very good. The only problem was that even though I ordered the second drink while I was eating it didn't come out until all the food was cleared. At that point I didn't really want it. They need to be more prompt when bringing out the drinks. My water glass was empty and it took a while to get more water. The system of using two people for each table is not efficient. This location next to Dos Lagos is hands down my favorite Wood Ranch. It's one of those chain spots that can sometimes be a hit or miss depending on the location but this one consistently delivers. The restaurant is clean, the service is solid, and it's always packed (which is a good sign). Came here for dinner with family and everything hit the spot from the ribs to the brisket, and of course, that free bread. The wood-fired meats here really add that extra layer of smoky flavor that takes everything up a notch. If you're out in Corona and craving American BBQ, I always recommend this spot. BEWARE -- I CONSIDER THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICE I paid for a complete to-go order, and the restaurant actually called me after I left to tell me they still had part of my order there. That is how I found out I had not received everything I paid for. When I called about getting my money refunded for the missing food, I was initially told I would receive a refund. I then spoke with the managing partner, Keith Honea, who refused to refund me and told me I needed to contact my bank and dispute the charge. What made this situation even worse was that during our conversation, Keith Honea told me that I needed to see a doctor because I had mental health issues. I was simply trying to resolve a legitimate issue involving food that his own restaurant called and admitted they had failed to give me. In my opinion, someone who speaks to a customer that way while handling a legitimate complaint should not be in a management position, and I believe the company should seriously consider terminating his employment. I consider keeping a customer's money after acknowledging that the customer did not receive what they paid for to be fraudulent and potentially unlawful conduct. Whether it legally rises to the level of a criminal offense is for law enforcement or the appropriate authorities to determine. I have already filed a police report and am obtaining an incident number. I also intend to contact the appropriate city office on Monday regarding what happened. If my money is not refunded, I intend to pursue the legal and consumer remedies available to me. I'm not driving all the way back from Norco to the other side of town because their staff failed to properly check my order. They made the mistake, not me. After the refusal to refund money for food I never received and the completely inappropriate way I was spoken to by the managing partner, I will never eat here again and cannot recommend this restaurant. This is our regular eating spot when no one can agree on what we want to eat. They have plenty of items to choose from and the food is consistent and good. Downfall it's pretty much everyone has the same idea so if you are coming for dinner or lunch be prepared to wait. Once you sit down your food comes out pretty quick. I can't remember ever having bad service. They have a decent size waiting area outside with a fireplace that is nice for keeping comfortable. Other things you may want to know is if you are a cold person like me have them seat you closer to the front. They have a nice outdoor patio and during the fall and winter months the tables in the back get a cold draft from the doors opening and closing. My normal go to is the Beef Ribs, Tri-Tip and the Tri-Tip Salad. I love their passion fruit tea and will take it home to go on to go orders. This visit I ordered the BBQ pulled pork I was using the garlic rolls and made little pulled pork sandwiches. Wood Ranch BBQ is located in the Dos Lagos area of Corona. My daughter wanted brisket for dinner and I saw the menu had beef ribs (I'm a sucker for beef ribs) so we decided to check this place out. They have a lot of options on the menu, items were a bit pricey... but when you're a foodie, that doesn't matter!! I ordered the 4 piece beef ribs combo with brussel sprouts & asparagus and my daughter ordered the brisket combo with loaded mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli. While we waited for our food, they served us complimentary bread rolls w garlic and butter which were freshly baked and still hot. The interior of the bread was really soft and the exterior was lightly crisp. Tracy was our server and she took very good care of us. She was very attentive and super sweet, making sure our drinks were filled and getting us what we needed (pickles and more sweet BBQ sauce). BRISKET: The brisket combo was good. Outer crust of the brisket was well seasoned w the right amount of fat layer and went well w the loaded mashed potatoes. Steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly, not soggy and slightly crisp.We liked the sweet BBQ sauce better than the spicy one. BEEF RIBS: The beef ribs were super tender, moist, and juicy!! Not dry at all, and very meaty for being back ribs. Asparagus was grilled perfectly and had good flavor. The brussel sprouts were ok, i wasn't too crazy about them since they were drizzled w the spicy BBQ sauce. I would've been fine without the BBQ sauce on it. I've been coming to Wood Ranch for years--this particular location for at least 16 of them. I share that because I've truly been a loyal customer and have seen this chain go through many changes. Unfortunately, my last three visits have been quite disappointing. This location has lost its luster and its touch, leaving me increasingly unsatisfied. I've always accepted the gradual price increases because the service and quality of the steaks made it worth it. It honestly breaks my heart to give such a low rating, especially since this restaurant has been the setting for date nights, birthdays, and so many celebrations in between. Today's visit started off rough. The server brought out plates that still had food stuck on them--not just a speck of seasoning, but an actual piece of chicken from a previous guest. My soft drink was completely flat. Our steaks, ordered medium rare, arrived rare. The fries were stale. Aside from the salad, everything missed the mark. Even my cocktail was a letdown. My tri tip sandwich was real Smokey apparently they smoke it over night. I also got a brisket and slaw sandwich and that was really good. It was huge messy and tasty! Over all the place and food were decent I have been here several times with family! The only thing I am very disappointed is the tri tip slider the tri tip was very good cook just right tender good because I have the sauce on the side so I can control of how sweet but VERY DISAPPOINTED with the veggies onion bell pepper came with slider was way too salty just like I ate only salt ( the cook need to give room for customers if we want more salty we just add salt ourselves instead of the cook loaded with salty stuff and the other dishes like brisket was way too dry. But the potato's skin was good.The tri tip salad and Asian salad were good as long as keep the dressing or sauce on the side. I forgot take photos of all the dishes.
