Went here on Easter for breakfast/brunch. I didn't think it was gonna be crowded because it was Easter but it was packed. We had the bunny iced coffee and we all ordered the Chilaquiles with steak meat. It was so good.!! the service was great! it was such a nice day so we sat outside. they had a bunny come around and pass out Easter egg with candy in it, which was really nice.

We hadn't been here in a while because we just been hitting up other places lately. Honestly, they probably have the best café de olla they their menu changed a bit their chilaquiles verdes weren't as good as they used to be they were very acidity. I got an order of the French toast. It doesn't specify that it's only one. I was still hungry when we left!

The building outside looked a bit dull and plain. Upon entering the restaurant it looked spacious and with cute decor. The tables were spread out throughly with enough room where couples can chat quietly. The server was super nice and friendly. Explained the whole menu and even specials of the day, too. We felt heard and she provided us with some input. My wife and I ordered a breakfast burger and steak chilaquiles and the amount of food was amazing. Great flavor and big portions. Also, the coffee options were yummy yummy. Highly recommend the place.

    Plastic to go cup

My wife and I visited De Poca Madre on Sunday around 12:20 PM, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming from start to finish. When our server first approached our table, she already seemed over the day. She spoke very quickly, avoided eye contact, and didn't come across as welcoming. First impressions matter, and this one wasn't great. I ordered a Michelada but was told they were already out of the mix. Running out of something like that on a Sunday around lunchtime was surprising, but we moved on. My wife ordered a pineapple mimosa. The drinks took about 10 minutes to arrive even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, and the mimosa came before we even received water. When the water finally arrived, it was served in a plastic to-go cup, which felt out of place for a dine-in meal. We ordered the egg sandwich and the steak and eggs. Before ordering, I specifically asked if the steak came with a grilled jalapeño, and the server replied, "It already comes with one." When my plate arrived, there was no jalapeño. I also expected a generous amount of chimichurri based on the menu, but there was barely any on the steak. After our food was dropped off, no one came back to check on us. I actually had to ask the busser for salt and pepper because the steak needed seasoning. When I mentioned the missing jalapeño, he told me they were sold out. Had someone communicated that when I placed my order, I would've understood. Instead, I was told it came with one. The food itself was just okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. Nothing really stood out, and for a $65 brunch, I expected much more in both flavor and presentation. The service never improved. We didn't receive any drink refills until the check was dropped off. Even then, there was still no eye contact, and the server reached across the table to grab the payment rather than taking a moment to engage with us. When we got up to leave, no one thanked us for coming, asked how everything was, or acknowledged any of the concerns we experienced during the meal. I still left a tip because I know serving isn't an easy job, but overall the experience didn't justify the price. Between the inattentive service, poor communication, missing menu items, average food, and lack of hospitality, I don't see myself returning. There are too many great brunch spots in the area that offer a much better experience for the same cost.

Love love love!!!! Came here on a rainy day and was sat pretty quick. Even though they were busy we got sat within 20 minutes. Their service was quick. The food was yummy (i tried their special for the day). And their establishment was clean, organized, and not overly lighted (thank god).

Lowkey have no idea why everyone is dogging on this spot. This restaurant was honestly one of the few "modern" Mexican spots that I've been to where the food is actually pretty good. I don't mind waiting, so the wait(about 12-15 minutes) really wasn't an issue. Our server was amicable and the staff was super sweet! However, they'd forgotten about an order of pancakes my family had made; things happen! Nonetheless, solid food and nice ambiance!

Has a wait for a reason! The food is all made to order. We ordered the Eggs Your Way, La Blanquita Omelet, and a side of French toast. My favorite part of the dish was definitely the French toast, it was fluffy and had the right amount of toppings. I will definitely be coming back just for the French toast alone. The dishes are a good portion size, you can easily share the dishes. The decorations are super cute, good for a photo op. The servers are also very kind!

Food was excellent. Had the chilaquiles half green half red sauce. Sauces were creamy with little bit of a kick. Meat was really good. Their Sangria (not yet on menu complimentary will be available for Mother's Day) red and white were delicious and dangerously tasty because you can't taste alcohol. Service is excellent waiters are all attentive and check in on you.

Came here yesterday after church and it was a vibe. We ordered the chicharon with guacamole and it was simple yet delicious. I had the pancita con huevo and I loved it. 10/10. My wife had the chilaquiles with steak and she loved it as well. Steak was super tender. My cafe de olla completed the great meal. Our waitress was also very nice. Will definitely come back again

This is supposed to be scrambled eggs with chorizo molletes. It is delicious, but portion is disappointing

This place is a hit or miss... I place an order to be picked up and when I got to the restaurant the order wasn't done... it took 45 minutes from the moment I placed the order to the moment they gave me my order. When I got to the restaurant someone told me my order was almost ready and to be honest I was surprised as my order isn't complicated. Went to washed my hands and still kept waiting. I had to ask the waiter for my order & she finally said it was ready... seemed like my order was ready and they weren't aware of it. PORTION: it has happened to me twice that my order is like a kids meal portion and it's very disappointing. The ambiance is nice though. Reason why I decided to write the review was because of the portion I received and the time it took for my order to be ready.

First let me say, Service was great! Very friendly staff, I got treated so good. 2nd Food was very delicious and real authentic taste of food. It's the best I've ever had, they killed it with the chilaquiles my favorite and they tasted so yummy!!! I will be going back soon. If you're looking for a good brunch spot this is the place to go!!!!

Im going to get right to it.... Pros: great food, great service, great environment. Get the chilaquiles or the Birria Benedict. The coconut shrimp was top notch Cons: absolutely no cons

De Poca Madre never disappoints. Anytime I bite into their delicious chilaquiles or any of their dishes, I am met with an array of authentic flavors and passion. The ambiance is also a plus and anytime I bring friends, they always complement it. The staff is always a pleasure and I can't wait to continue trying more dishes as you all should as well!

The first booth we sat in but we needed more room. It was so beautiful

We returned as promised and darn, Cory wasn't here! I brought fresh baked chocolate chip cookies…read morefor him too. Anyway, we got their chocolate stout/porter tonight and brought our own snacks. There was a girl behind the counter, not much to say except that the entire time we sat here talking and enjoying multiple beers there were dirty cups sitting in the table next to use and no one ever came to clean the table up. I enjoyed the jukebox and one other person played some songs too so we switched back and forth. The back gate was open and it was a cooler night so we never took our jackets off. Last time we stopped by we found another brewery nearby and they had a beer that we loved. (Barely wine 13.5% and $17 growler) so we're going there next. Oh our beers here were almost $10 each, and came with a lot of foam so it ended up being 3/4 of a glass of beer, but they tasted good.

She asked me questions and tried sips of her recommendations. I found out I love the pomegranate one. It was on the sweeter side which I loved. They had a bbq truck out back for the food option. I'm not sure if they have it every night or just on show nights. It's a cool kick back spot.

I've never really been a beer person, and there are so many times when I've passed by without really giving them a try, only thinking wow this place stays lit. Also, breweries that don't have food tend to bore me. Okay well, their seltzers are fire, and they have quite a selection of them. And they are literally surrounded by food options that you can choose from. Even though it's a small venue, the vibe never disappoints. They have an indoor and an outdoor section, and both indoor and outdoor seating feels comfortable. I love that they also offer a variety of games that really help keep the kids entertained. Staff is always extremely friendly, and overall there's always a nice crowd and ambiance. Whenever you pass by, you'll see a sign in front that announces anything that's upcoming on their calendar.
