Coming home from a really long day at work, I got my girlfriend to agree to come with me to The Breakfast Club, because, breakfast is the most important meal of the day (and good for any TIME of the day). The Breakfast Club's interior has a very simple design, much like walking into someone's house. It added a bit to the comfort food-vibe, but not as much to really set the mood. Looking through the menu, I was a bit confused, because they only had a small menu for breakfast which included the typical Filipino menu of Beef Tapa, Tocino, Bangus and Corned Beef. Aside from this, they only had Pancakes and Omelettes as their other options. I guess their opinion of a "Breakfast Club" is different from what I had in mind. Other items on the menu included entrees from Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisines, and for some reason they also had some steak on the menu. At this point I really didn't know what to order, as I also didn't know what direction they wanted to go with the menu. Anyway, I ended up just ordering the Beef Tapa, while my girlfriend ordered Beef Bibimbap. The food was nothing spectacular, but it wasn't bad either. Maybe I should have come for their breakfast buffet instead. read more
