This lunch combo was the most popular option amongst my party and made for a nice balanced meal with everything you could want to taste. The menu is a little heavy on the meat options with just a few select vegetarian items - but as the name Carvery indicades, this is a meat-centric place. Overall I'm giving the food a 10 out of 10. The sandwiches were well made and better than anything you could find at a chain fast-casual restaurant. The sweet potato soup was delicious and well presented. The arnold-palmer lemonade tea combo was great. The "hot bacon" dressing on my salad was indeed hot and made with real bacon. I shouldn't have been surprised - but I was. That waiter asked if we had eaten, and when we said no, she kindly went to check and told us it would be out soon. When our own server finally brought the food, she didn't apologize--she just served the dishes and walked away like nothing was wrong. After we finished eating, she never returned to our table. I even spoke to another group of four nearby, and they said they were dealing with the same issue. When our server eventually came back and asked if we needed boxes or anything, I told her no, that I was ready to pay one bill. She didn't come back for nearly 30 minutes.
