Having stayed in parks from Seattle to here, I don't say that lightly. The beautiful oak trees provided a neverending stream of unique birds that were very amusing. The proximity to the gulf provided a great place to relax with a cool breeze. Scanning other parks close by showed us another beautiful place with a 450.00all inclusive rent. We are grandfathered in so our rent won't ever change. As a cancer patient I make several trips for treatment in Houston. There is a clinic close by. We used their sheltered tables, to sit out and enjoy our surroundings. It is close to eating establishments, shops, and entertainment. The beaches were only a short drive away. Highly recommend using this RV park, and the price was very reasonable, with full hook-ups. We will certainly be using this park on our future visits to Freeport.

Oyster creek lies on the other side of the levee. Where it is well maintained and perfect for fishing or just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. I was delighted to find out about the covered spots. What a relief from the Texas heat, and to be able to comfortably sit outside during a nice rain storm. I'm lucky enough to work at the beach, which is a very short yet beautiful drive down levee rd. The owner Rodney can be seen riding through the park checking on various things and visiting with the guests. You can tell he really cares about the park and I'm so thankful that he shares his small slice of heaven with myself and others. Green acres is the place to be, trailer living is the life for me. Employees at the RV park were all very nice. It's also pet friendly. We loved camping within walking distance from the beach and the bar and grill which has live music at night Thursday through Saturday. It was also awesome that we could leave our tent set up on the beach to save our spot each day!
