Discovered this restaurant bar while in North Palm Beach yesterday. It was a great day to have a meal outside. The weather was perfect. Bright and sunny with a breeze. We drove by and saw the outside seating and said let's give this place a shot. It was one of the best decisions we made that day. The outside seating is at the entrance. Four tables for four on one side and 3 high tables that seat 4 on the other side. When we arrived there were two other people outside having a beer. We had to go in and announce ourselves which was fine. The inside is set up pub style. Once the staff was aware, we were attended to immediately. Our waiter Steve was friendly and gave good suggestions. He checked on us often and was a pleasure. Along with our cold brews we ordered the Works Philly Cheesesteak with both the sweet and hot peppers on the side and coleslaw (for me) and the Draft House Reuben (for my fiancé) with roasted red potatoes. The food was delivered within a reasonable amount of time, hot and delicious! My Philly was great! The bread was fresh and toasted, there was a perfect balance of meat to onions, and mushrooms. Once I tried bith the sweet and hot peppers, I decided to add the sweet peppers to my sandwich. They were a great add! The hot peppers were tasty but they were too hot for me. I'm glad I didnt add them. My fiancé's Reuben was PERFECT! Delicious bread, plentiful corned beef, and just the right amount of Thosand Island dressing. I'm getting that next time I visit this place because there will be a next time! The coleslaw was yummy. Not sweet and had all the coleslaw fixings. Let me tell you about my experience this afternoon during my lunch break with the boss of my company. We came in around noon and sat at the bar for quicker service even though the place was empty. We grabbed seats to the left of the bar. Bartender was not behind the bar so we grabbed a few menus that were sitting on the counter. About 10 minutes went by before she showed up. She walked right past us to the far end and started talking with the other people. Didn't say hi be right with you didn't make eye contact NOTHING. Once she was done talking she came over and asked if we were ready to order. Nancy ( Name tag) took the order than walked off to put the order in. I saw a drink menu hanging over the bar so I grabbed it to past some time. Nancy immediately asked Can I help you, can I help you and walked quickly towards us. She than continued to scold me and said she had the right to slap my hand and I couldn't be trusted to not steal and she would have to keep an eye on me. FOR WHAT taking a beer menu? Nancy did exactly what she said and stared at me during the rest of our meal. She made me and my boss feel very uncomfortable and disrespected. She never came to ask how things were or if we needed anything until we were completely done at that point Nancy asked for me to hand her our finished plates. I placed my napkin down and walked out. my boss paid the bill and he left. I get people have bad days and can't leave it at the door but to threaten to hit me than imply I'm a thief is beyond outrageous. House burger is awesome and I like the fruity beer and it is delicious. The nachos are good as well. There is mashed potatoes come with the burger you definitely won't miss anything. The steak is fine and two friends order that. The set up is more like a sports bar we came here around 2PM on Monday not many people. You can watch football and soccer as you wish. read more

Little local bar similar to flanigans but the food was very good. Everything is reasonably priced, we ordered burgers and the Philly cheesesteak and we were all impressed. Good portion size, the waiter was very attentive and we had a draft beer that was really good as well. No frills type of place but we were dressed up and it was okay. Wanted to try desert but the portion sizes were so big that we couldn't eat anymore. If we were in the area we would definitely be back but it was great to find such a good place while an hour or so away from home. Came for dinner at 6:30 on a Saturday night. The place has the typical local bar feel. Lots of TV's for sports viewing. We didn't have appetizers just drinks and mains. I had the fish sandwich which had a choice of grouper or mahi and choice of fried, grilled or blackened. I chose grouper grilled. My other half had the drafthouse burger which came with sautéed onions and mushrooms bacon and cheddar cheese and a side of fries. Service was great but the place was only half full on a Saturday night at prime time. We did order dessert which was the warm chocolate chip cookie sundae. So, after trying a dozen or so, burger places in West Palm... (I know there are many more to try), but I'm heading North this week for the summer. All 12 came through recommendations of long time WPB'ers. Surprisingly, when asked how our search was going, few had been to The Draft House, and by far, this was the very best. They use three different cuts of ground meat, the kitchen knew how to cook a medium burger, and staff was also the best... Thanks Dee... One of my first times here and the waitress was beyond attentive to our every need which I appreciated and as did my family. The ambiance inside was very cozy it reminded me of a place I used to love eating at in the keys. The booth we sat down in was very comfortable. My father got a burger which is loved very much, I couldn't get him to stop eating it. My husband got a cuban sandwich I believe which he also thoroughly enjoyed. I took my daughters here for dinner and they had great burgers. Service and food were excellent.

We were staying in North Palm Beach and wanted to order out and bring back to our house. The Draft House was close and got good Yelp reviews so we thought we would give it a try. The food was awesome. I was really impressed with how they packaged all of the items to keep it hot and delicious. We had 7 of us and got a variety of things. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I got the Garlic Parmesan wings which were some of the best wings I ever had. Service was fast and friendly. From what I saw of the place during our pickup, it seemed like a really nice and comfortable atmosphere. If we are ever back in North Palm, we will definitely go back. read more

The French dip sandwich I had today was truly 5 star. The beef was thin slices of perfectly tender and medium rare meat. It was piled deep with melted provolone cheese and a side of the juice. Great food. This place I really enjoyed the food. Got the flatbread and it was really good. I definitely like the fries here much better as well. Not bad, the bartenders are super nice and friendly. What I will say the drinks suck but again they're well drinks so u can't really expect too much but better than most bars. This place to me is like a step above a Flanigans or Miller Ale house. Seems like they have a set of locals that come here, mostly middle aged men's that like to get rowdy and drunk during the weekdays. So if you want a piece full night out this is not the place I can assure you. The ambient is very nice and well lit. If I want good bar food, attentiveness at the bar and trying to catch a game, this is where I would go but other than that I wouldn't really come here for dinner or lunch. This is a nice bar on US 1 in North Palm Beach with a nice outdoor patio with some tables and a very relaxed atmosphere. They must obviously be doing things right considering it is always packed, even during the week, especially at the bar and from 4 pm on. Burgers are among the best in Northern Palm Beach County, well filled and cooked as ordered. They also have many other items on the menu (try the huge Jalapeno poppers!) and everything we had was good. Happy hours is limited compared to other places, at least for beers and food, but they probably don't need to go crazy about it as - like I said - it looks like they are doing very well and they have their numerous following of regulars. Hands down one of my favorite bars, Jake is an amazing server and we took really good care of us! The food is amazing too! Our burgers and salad were fresh, hot and delicious. We stopped here on our way home on a late Friday afternoon. It is a mid-sized restaurant (with a particularly curious low ceiling) with entrances at both front and back of the building. It has nice small outdoor patio and a small private parking lot. It resembles a "Duffy's" or "Flanigan's", but a step above both in terms of ambiance and food quality. They have a great assortments of beers (besides a full bar), an extensive menu and HH every day. We shared a flatbread and sliders, and everything was really good! The food is the BEST! Large portions, made delicious. Wait staff is excellent, with fast service and able to tell you all of the specials for the day. My favorite and excellently made: The French Onion Soup!! The Hamburgers are big and juicy with all sorts of extras. Another of my favorites is the Grouper Sandwich or Grouper over a large salad. Very large menu and lots of choices. Great bar with Draft beers and anything else you could want. The restaurant is like a very nice sports bar with lots of TV's of sports. The one and only one time I have attended this establishment, I had asked the server's recommendation and he had suggested the cheesesteak over their new burrito labeled on the menu. Myself being opened minded went against the servers suggestion and tried the burrito. He explained that it comes with rice, black beans and pico de gallo. When my plates arrived I was in complete shock. My burrito was wet! The server nor the menu did not reveal that small yet important detail, that it was topped with a sauce and melted cheese. I am one that it sensitive to texture when eating certain meals. I just thrown off, I expected it to be dry so I may be able to hold it.
