Dive bars are a lot like your favorite old sweatshirt. You generally only have one. The three most famous, or infamous, all open late, are this place, Sneakers, and Harry's Banana Farm. I give two stars to the fact that they have live music. The perpetually open air use of the windows as gathering points to drink and talk? One small step for watering hole, one giant leap towards a meeting with the first letter of the alphabet, used twice. They serve a lot of beer. And 101 drinks. The bartenders know their locals. And this place is full of locals. This is usually the spot that people who have started at Irish brigade, or Lilo's will gravitate towards after those places close down for the night. It's a short walk, or, stagger over there. With no disrespect intended to the clientele, you pick dive bars for their "vibe." A lot of people are going to love this place. I just don't happen to be one of them. It definitely tops Sneakers. Won't thrill ya. Won't kill ya (hopefully). read more

This is a small local bar in the middle of the downtown Lake Worth area. Listen, you can't beat the $4 and $5 beers. So inexpensive so what you get charge extras for drinks you didn't have. That happened to our friend when she who was double charged but was whatever because drinks were so cheap. Might want to double check your tab. They also ran a strangers credit card and gave me the tab to sign. I didn't know what was going on, the place wasn't super crowded or anything, Looks like a lot of locals comes here as everyone knew each other. There are smoking allowed here so you will walk out with your clothes wreaking of cigarettes.. It was a very inexpensive bar. Nothing else to rave about other than just that.. read more

I use to absolutely LOVE THIS BAR prior to Covid. The bartenders rip you (bartender with long black hair was wearing pig tails yesterday)off if you don't pay cash.first round for TWO Coors lights was about 6 bucks and change with cash. I ordered the same order but paid with my card and the total was 9.50! How is that possible? I've been coming here for a long time and refuse to go back. I understand covid happened but having bartenders rip you off is not a good way to keep your business open. Good luck! I will find another bar that isn't a rip off and treats their customers right. An upscale(ish) dive bar. It has big open windows throughout and a surf town theme. You can stand just outside if the smoking is a bit much for you and for me it often is. The drinks are poured heavy and unless you ask otherwise your cocktail will be poured as a double tall in a pint glass. the prices are not too bad and easily one of the cheapest places to have some drinks in downtown Lake Worth. Live bands on Friday and Saturday nights, but it is a bit cramped for it and there is always a string of characters coming through. This is easily one of my favorite people watching spots in the area. The bar staff for the most part is very nice and will take good care of you. read more

So I thought this place was way cool and would have gotten all 5 stars if it was called IGOR instead of IGOT... Besides the name issue...this is definitely a dive bar and it seems to attract all the crazy characters of Lake Worth including myself. I came here dressed in my man pants and a white mans undershirt and my hair pulled back in a tight bun since I just got out of class (and that's how hideous I HAVE to dress for school) and I felt completely fine. I fit in very well. I'm all about laid back bars and this is definitely that. It's small inside and so you basically sit at the bar or the high tops lined up by the side of the bar. It's all open so Josh and I sat at a high top facing the street watching all the other crazies stumble on by. I would definitely recommend this bar if you are coming by on a week night and wanna drink with friends and not have to get all dolled up. read more

We have been here 3 times and it seems that the drinks have become weaker and the prices stay the same. I watched a program about bartenders who pour drinks away from the patron so that they can substitute the premium liquor for the bottom-of-the-barrel liquor. Well, we never saw our drinks poured and I watched but the bartender mixed our drinks at the other end of the bar...far away from us. Hmmm, sounds familiar. As much as we want a neighborhood joint, we will not be visiting Igot's Rip-off bar again. If I want over-priced, cheap drinks, I'll visit my in-laws. Also, the smoke is over-whelming. read more

I can't wait to come back. Came here last Saturday with a friend from college after checking out another bar down the street. The crowd seemed relaxed and all within the late 20's - late 30's age range and I really enjoyed the music. Although a little out of place for a martini/tiki bar, which this place is neither, I'm a sucker for house music. Beers seemed reasonably priced (2 for $8). I can't speak to much else because I wasn't there too long but again, looking forward to coming back. read more

One of the definitive "townie" bars in Lake Worth, which what you see is what you get. I really like the speed of service, friendly bartenders, and the live music is always on point. This place is small, but it definitely is fun. You are probably going to meet someone interesting if you pull up a seat somewhere. It is in the perfect pub crawl spot, and is situated right in the middle of Lake Worth's "strip". A good place to throw one back, get your bearings, hit a couple of the bars nearby, and find yourself back after a few hours, maybe to recoup, and then head down Lucerne to catch some more live music at South Shores. Igot's has live acoustic guitar on Thursday evenings -- and so far, I've been there twice and been impressed by each musician. The first time, I was also fascinated to watch the people -- OMG, Lake Worth looks like an interesting place to live. My only complaint is as a recent ex-smoker, the fumes drive me insane since I think everyone in the place is always smoking and I end up buming one or two. However, the big bartender is generally nice and makes a nice cocktail and I love the open windows concept. They don't serve food, but Dave's is next door (and owned by the same) and if you're nice, I bet they'd deliver! read more

Came here after a very confusing experience in Brogues Irish / Aussie / Sports Pub and I liked it alot. Nice relaxed feeling and some good stiff drinks. Bartenders were nice and it had a good atmosphere. There was a nice breeze that day so it felt good with the open window plan. read more

Horrible place. A nightmare to visit. Oh my oh my, walk away when you see Igot's. Listen to me, I can't believe anyone would tolerate a place like this in this day and age. They discriminate against people they don't like. I don't know why. Who would do such a thing? What kind of establishment would discriminate the way that Igot's does? Think of a time when you felt the most pain...that same exact pain will happen again the second you walk into Igot's. The bartender will look at you with discust. He may or may not serve you. Bad service. The bar will be dirty. When I went, it was filthy, needed a good wipe down. Surprising because there were only a few people at the bar the night I went. In the event that someone forces you to go there, please, bring sanitary wipes. Do yourself a favor, go to the next bar down the street. Go somewhere where you're going to be treated like a human being. Go somewhere where you're going to get good service. There are plenty of better places to go that will not discriminate against you. Awful experience. Upon entering with my friend and her service animal, the bar tender said no dogs. To which we replies that our Pomeranian (who is quiet and calm) was an emotional support animal and provided her card. Carl the bartender stated that if we needed emotional support we had no place to be in a bar. My friend has suffered from depression for years. Her life totally changed after receiving her support animal. Carl got angry after we asked him why and insisted that we leave the bar. Staying over and that he wouldn't serve us and if we were emotionally needy we shouldn't be there. We were polite and left. But I have never been treated so badly by someone for absolutely no reason. We would have politely left regardless but the insult was completely uncalled for. Such a disgusting way to treat two people who simply wandered in while exploring lake worth.
