I don't know anything about this part of town. The trip down here had mild "first few moments of an episode of Criminal Minds" vibes as the uber driver was taking deserted, dark back alleys through heavily industrial and/or abandoned industrial areas. I was not sure if I was going to find myself carved into pieces and safely stowed in his freezer in what I imagined what would not be a very nice apartment at all or what. But then the abandoned warehouse rows finally parted and then you could see the super upscale looking joint kind of sticking out off in the distance with the bright glam lights and the valet boys hustling about the lot. I don't like large crowds, but if I had to be a part of a large crowd again I would do so in the handsome event space within. It is part industrial Brooklyn nightclub vibes with the wide open spaces and reverberatory noise, but part family bat mitzvah vibes that you could bring everyone and really make it family style for the whole evening. I like how parking is self park, but like other yelpers have mentioned, a bit odd, especially driving up that steep ramp to enter the parking area, so you may actually prefer to find street parking. However, when you enter you are greeted to a well maintained venue, and since we come in the winter, they even have a real fire going in the fireplace! I believe they have quite a few banquet rooms, but we always use the one on the left when you enter to sit down and eat and the long banquet room across the way to get our food and beverages. When it comes to the food, the chicken was a bit dry which wasn't a surprise, but I did enjoy the mac and cheese and buttery mashed potatoes as well as the fried catfish and the broccoli/squash medley. The coffee was also tasty, and complimented the large assortment of desserts. Also, I love how attentive the staff were, thanks for always making sure those chafing dishes were full or that I always had hot water when needed and for clearing out our dishes so quickly!

It's fancy and it's mostly used for work parties and for rich people. There are two distinct Houstons going on and this is the lucky and more well heeled (boot heeled in some cases) half of the city, the half that ordered the skyscrapers built, such as the amazing one this club is inside, but not the half that actually went up and built them. It's still amazing, even if not to my taste. And the richer half (or 5%, or 1% as the case may be), are missing out on the greatest food in the country hiding away in the poorer and less fancy parts of Houston. I recently attended a soccer tournament at this location. The tournament went very smoothly. The…read moresoccer field is in good shape and the kids had a great time playing on it. It's a turf field with a blue color, rather than the usual green. They have a bar onsite, which is great for the parents. :) The referee we had was pretty good and had a good attitude. The teams that participated in the tournament were predominantly Latino, and none of us experienced any of the issues talked about in other reviews. They also have two sand volleyball fields. They let the kids play on them after the game, that was nice. They played some good tunes there as well. Also, there are plenty of comfy chairs and picnic tables for everyone to use. At first, I was worried about parking. The parking lot is relatively small, but as it turns out, you can park on the street nearby. So, parking was not an issue during the tournament. Moreover, there are some really good places to eat nearby. Try the Rodeo Goat if you fancy gourmet burgers! I do have one recommendation for the field owners. The soccer field has metal posts that hold up the nets that surround the field. The posts are not padded. My kid almost ran into one. It would not have been good if he did. I would recommend to the field owners to pad them for safety. Overall, it was a fun place with a good ambience and a nice view of Downtown. We will be returning to play other tournaments.

While the company has been around for several years, they've been in this location since 2023. Housed in a thoughtfully repurposed warehouse, the space is raw and full of potential for just about about any setting from weddings to art exhibitions to corporate gatherings. It reminds me of other spots I've seen in other areas of the city, but this location in The Heights makes it a prime location. There is close to 10,000 sq ft of usable space, complete with bathrooms, a waiting / welcome area, bar area, prep kitchen, high ceilings, and function rooms (changing / lounging) and is completely ADA accessible with ramps. While the Wi-Fi and ventilation are a bit on the weak side, I am pleased they're still options. As with many centrally based venues, parking may require coordination for larger attended events, though I suspect the neighboring brewery (#1) may end up taking many of the spots. The neighborhood setting definitely adds to the space's creative energy and being next to a popular BBQ place (#2) doesn't hurt either. Overall, I'm so impressed with the venue and hope to find myself coming back for other events. I have no doubt given the space's versatility, that it can really transform into just about anything.
