I had dinner here with friends a few nights ago and wanted to let myself marinate on the experience. It was absolutely fantastic. My friends and I had a small table on the patio in temperant weather out front. Sunshine, lightly chilly and enough wind to carry a conversation. Cody was our server and he was phenomenal. Very attentive and anticipatory. I wasn't sure what I'd like to drink or eat, but Cody led me to glory. My glass was never empty! Cody's Recommendations: Given that I elected to eat light, I thought I'd drink in fashion, despite my confusion. Cody introduced me to the Pair of Aces. A pear-forward cocktail, starring tequila, Pear and the little utilized Honeysuckle. It was the perfect weight to complement my meal. The Kung Pao Cauliflower Bites are and will remain a staple any time I dine here. The Ahi Tuna Tacos are more than perfectly balanced with gochujang, avocado, sesame and cilantro - and can we talk about those Rosemary Fries? Blasphemy. For the coup de grace, finish with the Hearsay Bread Pudding. A warm symphony of ooey gooey custard, crispyity crunchity flake and rich, dark caramel. Chef's kiss. We went to Hearsay at Levy Park for the first time for a friend's baby's 1st birthday! She reserved a private room to celebrate, and the restaurant was very nice! The food was really good. I had the Waygu Burger, a variety of their pizza, shrimp wrapped in bacon, chicken nuggets and their beef empandas. Food came out hot, and I particularly loved the shrimp wrapped in bacon. It had a kick to it, which made it delish. For the drinks, I tried the Cucumber Mocktail and really enjoyed it and got 2! Service was friendly, attentive and I felt like the room was a great size for a party! It was also kid friendly which is a plus, and they have changing tables in the bathroom! Definitely check them out! Only complaint, which has nothing to do with the restaurant.. but we parked across from hearsay and paid for parking using the Parking # signs. The valet attendant yelled at us from across the street to tell us that we'd be towed.. we were super confused considering we paid for it, and there wasn't a sign indicating we couldn't park there. Our friend was skeptical, but ended up moving his car to the parking garage.. and had to pay again for parking. My husband asked an employee at Hearsay and they stated as long as we paid, it was fine. Not sure what the intent of their valet attendant was, but we did not appreciate that! read more

One of my favorite dog friendly spots in Houston. The menu is pretty good and has something for everyone. It wasn't too busy on a Saturday around 11-12 surprisingly. There's street parking around the park, just be mindful of spots that are park only because they do tow. The service is alway good here, they bring your dog a bowl of water! And they have a doggy menu. The spinach and artichoke dip was a nice app, I liked the flavor. The dip itself was chunky, I would have liked it to be creamier, but I liked the jalapeño addition. I got the avocado toast and the portion was big, it came with 2 slices on brioche. I'm not the biggest fan of olives but didn't mind them here, especially with the feta and onions. The hash wasn't overly salty and I was very full by the end. My dog loved her chicken! Sitting on the patio is very comfortable with the umbrellas. read more

The vibe and ambiance at Hearsay is so vibrant. I really enjoy the natural sunlight coming in. They also have patio seating. They also have many TVs and will be plying all the March Madness games this month. They have street parking and valet parking. We decided to grab dinner at Hearsay before catching a movie at Regal Movie Theater. It was perfect because it was only a 3 min drive down the street! The appetizers were a little heavy in our opinion, but not bad. They were fine/good but nothing special. The rice cracker underneath the kungpao shrimp and calamari paired well with the protein, but the flavor of the shrimp and calamari is very potent and strong. We really enjoyed the ahi tuna tacos on a wanton shell and served with corn. The tuna was fresh and the tacos were loaded with toppings. We also really enjoyed the coconut cream pie! Discovered this beautiful hidden gem near our neighborhood. Hearsay sits next to Levy Park which makes it ideal for parking. They have a nice food selection from great brunch options to lunch and dinner! And from what I heard their cocktails are delicious. Omar, our waiter, was very kind and attentive. This is a great spot to go with friends/family, your significant other, and for now 2026 World Cup at Levy Park's watch parties. Hearsay at Levy Park provides very reasonable pricing for quality ingredients and excellent presentation. Overall we really enjoyed our time and we will definitely be coming back for more. read more

Definitely a solid option; great service and lots of great comfort food options. I loved the flavor of the gumbo and the shrimp was well cooked; I would have, however, preferred it a little thicker as it was a little difficult to consume given the large surface area of the plate. Hearsay at Levy Park was so nicely done! The interior is beautiful and the chandeliers were stunning. We met up for a girls dinner on the patio and those of us who are into sports, appreciated that they had the March madness games on. I did the Oak & Agave cocktail and it was delicious! I'm not a huge fan of sweet drinks, and this one was perfect. The mole bitters were yummy. I did the crab crusted red fish and it was perfectly cooked. The service was fine, however several of us had issues with our individual bills. I had ordered a second cocktail that never came out, but was on my bill. Unfortunately, we didn't leave any room for dessert, but I see myself coming back. read more

This restaurant is conveniently located next to Levy park. I stopped by here for brunch with the kids after they played at the Levy park playground. The breakfast was ok and they were able to let us custom order my son's breakfast tacos. I had the cubano sandwich which was pretty good. Another person at our table got chillaquilles and they were delicious as well. You can't go wrong by grabbing a bite here if you are in the area. The sitting area we had was also pretty cool with a garage door style opening. It was great to enjoy the fall weather that had just come into town. read more

It always hurts me to give such poor reviews but, unfortunately, this is necessary when the service, food quality, and cost just do not meet standards. This is the 2nd time my husband and I visited this establishment. I REALLY wanted to love it. It has all the elements I enjoy with the beautiful outdoor patio looking out into the park. The inside is gorgeous with an extra long bar area and a crystal chandelier handing above. Our first time visiting we sat outside and just yesterday we sat inside. Both times the service was extremely slow and literally only a handful of patrons in the restaurant. Yesterday we arrived for HH and sat at the bar. Thi attentiveness of the bar staff was sub-par. They were definitely more interested in prepping for the Friday night ahead then a trending to my husband and I. Okay, I can deal with that but when my husband asked for the check that the bartender literally proceeded to make 10 more drinks before handing us th check which took her less than a minute. The drinks herself are beautiful and you can get a well crafted cocktail for $10 on HH but you can definitely tell they're reducing the amount of liquor they're giving you to make up for the price difference. We ordered the mini charcuterie board for $9 and the cheese, meat, olives all tasted like what I would purchase at the grocery store and take to a picnic. This did not resemble anything of the quality I would expect of such a nice restaurant. Honestly, if you want a meat and cheese board with drinks, inr common nd you head over to Slowpokes which is also in th same area and get their board and bottle deal for $25. That charcuterie board is so much better for the price! I did get a side Caesar salad and that was pretty decent. Anyhow, sad to say, we will not be frequenting this restaurant in the future. We love Levy Park and will likely be eating at the other nearby spots. read more

I had such a great experience at Hearsay Gastro Lounge. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance stood out -- clean, sleek, cozy, and very well kept. It has that upscale but still comfortable feel where you can dress cute, relax, and actually enjoy your meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The lighting and layout make it perfect for a date night, girls night, or even a solo dinner at the bar. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and it was a solid 10/10. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery. The Brussels sprouts were seasoned so well -- not soggy, not dry, just balanced and delicious. I also had the Smoot cocktail (twice because it was that good), and it did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of sitting at the lounge and talking with the bartender, Dominic, who was incredibly sweet and made some of the best drinks I've had in a while. The staff overall was wonderful -- attentive but not hovering, which I personally appreciate. I love when a restaurant allows you to fully enjoy your experience without constantly interrupting the flow of your meal and conversation. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. I really enjoyed this location. I have been to several other locations around Houston and they are all really nice but this one has a great atmosphere in a large park outside for families and kids. I will say the first thing that I noticed was the huge chandeliers that were really gorgeous. The bar area looks really spectacular as well. I came with a friend and we receded very quickly. I've sat here at both the bar and a dining table. Drink menu and food menu are really good and they have a variety of different options. I had the crab crusted redfish, my second time there and it was amazing. I opted to have the brussels sprouts instead of the green beans and I think I made the right choice! The brussels sprouts are incredible. I also really enjoyed the deviled eggs. The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were not as good as I hoped them to be, but I would try them again if they made them a bit more crispy. The sauce that goes along with those were really good though. The service was a little slow both times that I have gone here. It's almost like they are not prepared for the influx of people that they will have with the area that they are in. We did get wine service in the wrong bottle was brought to us, but it was returned and replaced almost immediately so that was not a terrible incident. The espresso martini was one of the best I've ever had! Will continue to get every time I come here. Bathrooms are super clean and parking was easy as there is street parking as well as a parking lot. Sometimes they do open the outside doors but with Houstin being as hot as it is, I'm so glad they had it closed both times I have been here. Not a full five star just because of the service and hopefully they gain another star soon. Will be back though. read more

I had the opportunity to have 4 different pizzas from Hearsay. I went against my norm and tried others. Those were Margherita, Texas Luau, Smoked Chkn Pesto and Smokehouse. I was pleasantly surprised with all. After having these I would say that all the pizzas offered would be a treat. These did not disappoint. read more

Great spot to grab lunch while at levy park. I only got the caesar salad and fries, which were pretty good. I wouldn't come just to levy park for this restaurant but will visit the restaurant again while already at the park with my dog, and try more menu options. The watermelon no-jito cocktail was delicious. Also love that they have a dog-friendly menu. My dog loved the wagyu "hot diggity dog" but he used to eat his poop, so you can't trust his recommendations. read more

I've ventured over to Hersay a couple times while visiting Levy Park. It's definitely a nice vibe during the summer time, sitting out on the patio. They're also dog friendly too. I ordered the Brussels sprouts that include bacon and a sweet glaze, delicious! I also ordered the scallops which are paired with a sweet potato purse and broccoli I which was so well balanced. The only downside during this visit was the amount of flies which was such a nuisance. read more

We visit this place for the first time and it was amazing! First we walk in and the place is beautiful, love the chandeliers and how open it is. Brandon did a great job in recommending drinks and dinner and make sure we had a great time. Have been by Hearsay at Levy Park many times. Finally met a couple of friends for a perfect GNO. Love the chic antique interior with beautiful chandeliers and the inside/outside patio seating overlooking the park. Currently decorated with spider webs and pumpkins for Halloween. Grabbed a quiet hightop table. So many cute options for dining. The patio is dog friendly, too. Our table ordered a variety of apps, soups, entrees and a dessert to be shared. My friends loved the ahi tuna nachos, gumbo and the gem wedge salad. The Chicken Milanese was so delicious. Chicken with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, and capers topped with a lemon cream sauce served with a side of garlic green beans. Their drinks are so creative. The flameless Leah mocktail was like liquid sunshine in a crystal cocktail glass. Strawberry, lime, mint and coconut water. Get this one!! The cucumber cooler with muddled cucumber, lime, cilantro and coconut water was quite refreshing (although it had too much ice.) My friends enjoyed their red and white wines. Their glassware was also so interesting. Different types of crystal stemware. Cocktail glasses. Wine glasses. Highball. Double old fashioned. Water glasses. This could be like a lesson in ordering on a bridal registry. Complimented the eclectic chic antique interior perfectly. Split the Hearsay Bread Pudding. Served with vanilla bean ice cream, it was the perfect way to end a wonderful GNO with friends. Free street parking is available surrounding Levy Park. Decided to go tonight for a holiday meal. Overall disappointing. We had a reservation for 5. The hostess confirmed that then had to move tables to accommodate the reservation while at least one walk in table was seated. Sat and while waiting for my party at least 10 minutes and no one stopped by to check, drink order nothing. Finally got a drink order placed. When the rest of the party arrived and ordered drinks it took 20 minutes. 20!!! For espresso martinis. One ordered the pear drink that was supposed to be table side with smoke and fire and wasn't Appetizers arrived and had clearly been sitting (cheese on the spinach dip was hardened). Main course. The food was fine. Nothing special. Not worth a repeat visit. Had to flag a manager to get our check. I would have thought he would have checked in to see how our meal was since I actually waved him over but he didn't. Won't be back to this location. And probably not to hearsay. $300+ for a mediocre meal and abysmal service. read more

Okay well hello again Hearsay! Lol I have previously visited the Hearsay located downtown and I enjoyed it. So when we were planning our staff holiday dinner and I discovered the Levy Park location. I was like say less! To start this place aesthically is sooooo cute! It has a very rustic vibe and is well lit with sectioned rooms and a fire place! There appears to be an option to open the garage door style windows to enjoy the outdoors while you eat weather permitting. We were stationed in the private room where the lights were having a bit of a struggle. Our excellent waitress Angie was on it and brought out these cute table lights to address the issue. Speaking of Angie let's talk about service. As previously stated she was excellent! Provided great advice about the menu she was attentive to our parties needs and got our orders in quick and timely. I ordered the shrimp and calamari a dish I had tried at the downtown location. It lets a lot to be desired it was soggy and not crunchy as excepted from the 1st time I tried it. But don't fret! Eeverything else I tried was great! I ordered my signature drink an eespresso martini and yes! It was perfection. I was going to the gym after so I tried the impossible burger and fries. It was soo good so filling. What vegan patty? Can't tell. Any who various selections were made across the table! Also it appears the menu at this location is more extensive love that! Parking can be a challenge on a busy day at levy but there's a parking garage! All in all this place provides great ambiance, food and service I highly reccomend you check it out! read more

I visited this restaurant for a nice Sunday brunch. Located in Levy Park, the setting is ideal for a nice sunny day. The restaurant is adorable with high ceilings and large garage windows. I absolutely loved the mocktail I ordered. It was refreshing and very tasty. I was not a huge fan of the shrimp dish however. The menu stated it was stuffed with crab but u didn't taste or see the crab. It was also supposed to be cheddar grits but I didn't taste much cheese. I would love to visit the restaurant again but I will definitely choose a different dish. read more

Mac was our server and he was incredibly kind and professional a true gentleman. What stood out most was how attentive the entire team was. If I even reached for something, someone was already at our table making sure we were taken care of. I know it's part of their policy, but you could feel the heart behind it. Everyone genuinely cared about providing excellent service. The music selection was diverse and enjoyable, which I appreciated. I ordered the blackened redfish tacos with their heavenly rosemary and parmesan fries so flavorful and perfectly cooked. And I'm not usually a fan of corn tortillas, but these were delicious! My husband and I really enjoyed our Valentine's Day here! First impressions upon walking in: atmosphere is warm and inviting the chandeliers and lighting at such a brightness which contrast against the dark features in the dining room. All of the windows are so nice to look at and watch the park and passersby with their cute dogs. A huge bonus is that there is a great amount of parking and it's free near the restaurant. The patio would be very nice to sit at in warmer temperatures, but they do have heaters for those willing to brave the cold! Our server was very nice and I'm so glad we made a reservation ahead of time. The food was delicious and we enjoyed sharing everything with each other. What a delicious dinner! Our drinks were so good and our food was even better! It's not often I can say that every meal we had on one trip was delicious, but this week everyone really was!! We started with the tuna nachos. I bow down to these! They were spectacular!! Be sure to order them!! They were so fresh and delicious. Melt in your mouth amazing. I had the short ribs and (chefs kiss) they were freaking delicious! The Brussels were cooked perfectly and the cheesy grits were good. My husband had the pork chop and he practically licked his plate clean they were so good! The manager came over to see how our meals were and was genuinely wanting to make sure we were pleased and would have done whatever necessary to make sure we were happy. That was very kind of him and I appreciate when restaurant managers/workers really love their food and want to ensure their patrons are happy with it too. The restaurant itself is stunning. The chandeliers in here are impressive. I can't imagine having to clean them though. They have plenty of bar seats and a nice outdoor area with a bar and tvs to watch the games! Excited for another Hearsay to open in Houston, this one at Levy Park! We couldn't get reservations for July 12, so took the next available day July 13 (713 day). Well... Hearsay wasn't able to open that weekend because of the surprise Cat. 1 we experienced. Fast-forward to August 7 and we have reservations for Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) 2024. Limited parking along Wakefield & in front of Hearsay, I was able to snag a spot. If there are no spots available near the entrance, park in the garage and enjoy the short walk through the park. We made reservations on Opendoor app for 6:30. I was greeted promptly at the door & he was already seated at the table enjoying an El Papino (cocktail with tequila). We ordered from the HRW menu. We got the harvest salad with poppyseed dressing and spinach and artichoke dip. The warm goat cheese crouton was perfect! The dip was served hot with tortilla chips and crostini's. I would order both again. For our entrees, I ordered the Chicken Milenese which was served with a delicious artichoke sauce and al dente green beans. Wonderful dish! He ordered short rib on perfect grits and brussel sprouts. Very rich and decadent. Desserts were creme brûlée and bread pudding (to go). Visiting Houston from our home in Fort Worth for a funeral service, I searched for a nice Sunday lunch venue near the church. Once again the discriminating dining devotees otherwise know as Yelpers knocked it out of the park in the recommendations given for this restaurant. Y'all know whereof you speak. And the restaurant indeed lived up to the reviews and recommendations. When viewing the restaurant from the street we wondered if this was, in fact, the restaurant or an office complex. We saw no signage, but it was raining and we could have been distracted by that. However, there is a street number on the street side of the building and we confirmed on WAZE that this is the place. The interior is expansive with a high, dark ceiling accented with warm walnut stained rafters; the south side of the dining room where the large, handsome bar is located is done in dark walnut followed to the west on past the bar by a warm stone wall accented with geometrically arranged vertical strips of dark wood. The east, north, and west sides of the store consist of floor to ceiling glass windows and roll up doors. The north and west sides of the room with the roll up glass doors look out on surrounding Levy Park. Even with all that exterior light the restaurant maintains an enjoyably warm atmosphere due to the ample and attractive incandescent (or incandescent like, who knows these days) lighting fixtures. It's classy and comfortable. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful and perfectly on target in her recommendations. The manager on duty touched base with us at the table at least twice. We started with the Ahi tuna nachos. This dish is absolutely spectacular. If I ever get to visit another Hearsay again (our server said she thinks one is planned for Fort Worth!) I will order two plates of these. For myself! The symphony of flavors soars. So good. My wife went with the redfish tacos which she thoroughly enjoyed and I the seafood gumbo. This gumbo is the real deal. A full bodied dark, savory roux base, perfect spicy heat, and flavorful seafood and sausage. Gumbo nirvana. Excellent. At least get a cup. You haveta try this. Man, I sure nuff hope a Hearsay is coming to Fort Worth. Shoot, I'd even drive over to Dallas if I had to if they stick one there. LOL. read more

Anthony was our server. He was friendly and attentive. The food gets 4.5 stars. the fries had good flavor but i prefer more natural fries with skins on them. The atmosphere is another 4.5 stars - impressive inside, chairs outside could be more comfortable. My burger gets a 5 star!!! loved it. We will back for ahi nachos and to try the scallops. With all these high reviews, I'm wondering if my experienced was a one-off. To be clear, the food was good, the space is beautiful, but the service all round was mind-bogglingly bad. It was confusingly bad. My mom was in town for the holidays and we wanted one last meal together before she left, and I love the downtown location so I thought this would be a special brunch to spend with her. It was pretty awful and we didn't deserve the treatment we got. No one was at the front when we entered and we stood there for a while until the hostess came who was incredibly snobby. I did this job for 5 years She told us an hour and a half even though no one was waiting and said it was because all their reservations were full, which okay that's fair, but how she spoke to us was curt. We sat at the bar and had a drink to figure out if we would stay or not. 2 out of 4 of us had surgery and it was hard to all talk to each other so eating at the bar wasn't comfortable or ideal. While it was slow service considering we were pretty much the only people at the bar, the drinks were great and bartenders very polite. 25ish minutes go by and 2 huge parties leave and no exaggeration, almost the whole entire restaurant clears out. I go to check if the wait will still be what we were quoted, and the hostess wasn't there but a server was standing there. They completely ignore me and don't even look up. Another server walks up and they start chit chatting, and I'm kind of baffled. The server who walked up kind of snapped out if it and realized no one had acknowledged me and said oh definitely! There was plenty of availability and we could get seated immediately. We go to the bar and offered to pay our tab instead of transferring it to the table but the bartender said no that they'd take care of it. What that actually meant was they'd keep us as a table, take our order, have other servers drop it off, and never check on us. We had to eventually flag someone down to pay the bill after sitting there 35-45 minutes after we were done eating. The space is really lovely and the food was good but not great like I've had at the original location many times. The service was just kind of depressing and not at all what I was hoping to treat my mom to during her rare visit in town. I don't see a reason to ever come back. read more

I have been here a few times and my experience has been great each time. From the moment I entered the establishment everyone was nice. I tried the espresso martini, devil eggs, cheesesteak eggrolls and buffalo fried shrimp. The cheesesteak egg rolls are my absolute fave! The buffalo fried shrimp are good but a little spicy for me. My spice level is 1 so I don't like anything spicy. The place itself is beautiful inside. They have private rooms if you need to book a party. Those with kids can enjoy the patio while the kids play. If you're looking for a happy hour that truly delivers, Hearsay at Levy Park is the place to be. Great food, great service, and a fantastic location right on the edge of the park make for an experience that's both lively and enjoyable. We visited during a particularly busy time when a party was happening, but that didn't affect the service at all--everything was fast, efficient, and friendly. Our waiter, David, was excellent. He took the time to walk us through the menu and made some great recommendations. We tried the cheesesteak eggrolls and the meatballs, and both were absolutely delicious. The eggrolls, in particular, were a standout--imagine if pulled pork, a cheesesteak sandwich, and an eggroll combined into one perfect bite. For drinks, I ordered the Pair of Aces, and it tasted like autumn in a glass--warm spices with delicious pear notes. Definitely a must-try! While we've been to several Hearsay locations, this one might just be our favorite. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls and spacious layout create a stunning atmosphere that complements the energy of Levy Park. Whether you're here for happy hour or a full meal, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy. While parking is limited, we had no trouble finding parking on the street on a busy Thursday afternoon. A frequent visitor we sat next to told us there has never been any issues with parking on the Main Street, but avoid parking on the side streets after dark, if possible, due to safety.
