2nd time here.. 1st only had pizza and wasn't overly thrilled but it was overall decent. Came on the recommendation of my sister who had been twice and raved about it. No silverware or plates. Got them eventually. Ordered shrimp scampi. Ate some of the meal and then noticed a piece of short dark hair on my shrimp. I stopped eating it immediately and waited for waitress to return. She did and I let her know and showed her the hair. She took the plate and then returned apologizing and offered dessert on the house. She then continued with, " they said that it was probably your own hair.." Seriously. I've never been so disrespected by an establishment or their waitstaff..... Great little spot with a full service bar and kitchen. Large portions and great prices. The atmosphere is warm with large windows and brick facade, and the staff is friendly and courteous. Happy hour has some really great values and the restaurant is right across from the downtown parking garage, with some street parking also available. We split a margarita pizza and a chicken Parmesan and both were spectacular, with a larger-than-normal portion for the chicken. The sauce was good and the meal was hot and fresh out of the oven. Been back a few times in the last year. They have a very nice bar, and open seven days with very good selection of beer and wine. Lots of TV's make the ambiance more casual then the beautiful bar would suggest. This time, had the penne vodka with shrimp which was very good but typical. The Brick is more than a pizza parlor but far from a unique Italian dining experience. The menu is basic, filled with typical American Italian dishes and the normal assortment of pizza shop sandwiches. Food is good, service is friendly. And, the prices are reasonable. Absolutely love this place. We drive from 25 mins each way to eat here because the food is so good. Friendly atmosphere always clean store, and reasonably priced. The mozzarella bites and pizza are amazing. It's the best pizza place in the LV and I've probably tried them all. Did Brick for happy hour on Friday. It was a good experience but I don't feel it was quite 4star worthy. They have an ok beer list that is not extensive but has a good selection of tasty beers. Happy hour special is $2 off craft beer which would be nice, but some of the beers on that menu are $8 a pop which is a bit ridiculous. We ordered the margarita pizza and a cup of meatballs(2) from the happy hour menu. The pizza was legit for $7. Good size and a good za. The meatballs on the other hand were weak. Two balls out of the freezer, probably microwaved and thrown in some tomato water. They tasted fake and low quality. The sauce was so thin it wouldn't even stick to them. I like the spot. ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS! GROSS! A bug on our pizza and they refused to offer any compensation. I rarely, if ever, write reviews. But I am so appalled at this business and the way we were treated. I often order food and in fact, had just ordered from The Brick about a week or two before last night and spent almost a hundred dollars. Last night, I ordered almost $90 of food. When it came we immediately dug in. My son, mid bite, suddenly spit his food out. Right in the center of his pizza was a dead bug. I owned a restaurant years ago and know these things can happen. However, that doesn't change the fact that none of my children wanted anything to do with any of the food after seeing a dead bug on their brother's pizza. So, I immediately called The Brick. I told the woman very calmly what had happened. She immediately got defensive and started questioning me about what type of bug it was and told me that she didn't see how this could have happened (even I know how it could have happened?!). Honestly, she was more upset with my bringing this to her attention than I was at getting a disgusting pizza and not having food for my children to eat AND being out $90. I didn't give her a hard time as I just wanted to make this right. She wanted me to reorder the entire order but I explained to her that none of my children wanted to eat the same food from the same place because they were rather grossed out. I even tried to mitigate the situation by saying we would be back in a few weeks when they had forgotten the experience! She told me that I would have to call Yelp and that she couldn't do anything for me directly since I didn't order through The Brick. I immediately called Yelp expecting even just a refund on the pizza in question. Nope. The Yelp representative called the business and the rude woman on the phone refused to do ANYTHING for us. Not even a credit there (not like I really wanted it, honestly). Yelp was so put off by her lack of willingness to compensate us in any way that they offered me 20% off on my next Yelp order and apologized profusely for her lack of empathy or kindness. Not a kid-friendly establishment! They didn't have a kids menu, that's fine. We ordered for ourselves and asked if they could just make a grilled cheese. Waitress said no. I asked if the kitchen could just put cheese between bread and fry it up. Nothing fancy. She left and returned to say no since it's not on the menu. Okay. I asked if we could just order a slice of plain cheese pizza. She said no they don't do slices.‍ Then, our 3-year-old girl needed the restroom asap. I took her and the line was 5 ladies long. A restaurant as big as that and they only had one stall for females. The men's room opened up and the other ladies urged us to just use that. We did, and almost immediately someone started repeatedly pounding on the door. Even after I slightly opened it to inform them "a little girl is trying to poop." This ignored it until she was upset/anxious and done trying. We left and a few visibly intoxicated males were snickering at us outside. Apparently their Miller piss was more urgent. I asked for a manger but didn't get anywhere. The food we managed to get was fine, but not enough to compensate for the bad service and aggressive clientele. Management wasn't responsive either. May be a decent spot for a date or night of drinking, but NOT for a nice dinner or family outing. read more

Everything here was solid. Service was good. It's nice and roomy inside - very modern looking with simple, clean lines. Everything we tried of the food was good. I wish I had more to say than that, but we enjoyed the pizza we tried, as well as the pasta dishes. Stopped in for a quick bite at 6:30 on NYE. This place was hoppin but they quickly sat us at the bar. Brick has an extensive Italian menu, but pizza obviously is its forte. We ordered two HUGE pies and were able to comfortably enjoy them at the bar. (how many pizza/booze joints can say that?) Great thin crust, delicious and HELLA fast. Originally it is $20.99, when our bill came it was $28.99 because they charged us eight extra dollars to substitute vegan cheese! Now we weren't told this was going to happen nor does it make any sense that the up charge is $8!!! We had gone about a month ago and got the same thing and were charged $20.99 so apparently in the past month they've decided to punish us for being plant based. I can't speak to he food here, but I had an unpleasant enough experience to write a review. I was staying in Bethlehem for one night at a nearby hotel and wanted to eat as I had just landed. I walked in the freezing weather here and opened the door. The restaurant was empty except 2 gentleman in the back corner. I made eye contact and they looked back at me without saying anything, so I looked around the place. It was empty, and when I looked back at the two gentleman one of them reached out to me and asked "can I help you?" I asked if they were open, and he said no. I mentioned that they are supposed to be open until 10, and he said "yeah but it's so cold we closed." What a disappointment. We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She always loved the penne vodka, it was basically soup. The sauce was watered down. My husband ordered the anti-pasto salad; it was a lot of lettuce with a small amount of meat/cheese. I recently stopped eating meat and ordered the black bean burgers; it was a burnt hockey puck, not edible. The service was lacking and they certainly didn't properly address the situation. Instead of coming over to talk to us, they sent the poor young server over to deal with it and he had no idea how to. I refused to pay more than the $70 they charged for this horrible experience. So my advice to the owners is to take the penne off the bill and give him that for a tip. Quality is no longer a priority at this once loved establishment. read more

This is a good place to bring families downtown. It will have even better appeal when their liquor license is finalized. We went for our first visit last night for dinner and ordered a few pizzas. The Spinelli (wood-fired) was the best. Nice mix of sausage, peppers, etc. I wish the wood-fired came in larger sizes. In the interest of feeding our largish group, we ordered an 18" Pulled Pork Pizza and 18" Chicken Bacon Ranch, prepared in regular pizza oven. They were fine, the Pulled pork was a nice sweet, barbecue-y pizza, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch was kind of bland and unremarkable to me, but I added crushed red pepper (wouldn't order again). My daughter doesn't care for pizza, so we ordered her a kids' ravioli, and it was a decent portion size, and she enjoyed it. We will have to visit again to see what else this restaurant has to offer. The zeppolis and garlic knots in the display case looked AWESOME! I also caught a glimpse on a pasta dish with large jumbo shrimp walk by... Looked very fresh and tasty. read more
