We order takeout from here about 2-3 times a month. Their pizza is outstanding. They have great pasta, entrees, salads and steak sandwiches too. Their pasta and entree portions are big!!! My only complaint is that they add ingredients that are not listed in their descriptions. For instance, onions in a lemon caper sauce entree. There's no way to remove onions on their online site since onions are not listed as an ingredient. Also, it's unfortunate that they've added a $4 delivery charge, which isn't much, but then you give a tip as well. We used to tip 20% but don't anymore since the delivery charge was added. read more

Been using them for YEARS. just down the road. They CONSTANTLY mess up your order. You never get what you ordered and there is always something missing. I have had to call so many times and they do nothing to make up for up it other than say "I will bring it to you" which means your whole family waits to eat cold food! Fries are always soggy. Called Jacks's last night to place an order. Would have picked it up but was told delivery would be a little less than an hour. (This was at 6:11) we had some people over so decided on delivery. At 7:25 called back to check in. Was told the pizza just came out of the oven and would be there shortly. At 7:50 called back again and was told it was just leaving at this point we decided to just cancel the order as it was now an hour and a half later. I asked the girl on the phone why she didn't give us a heads up on the wait time and she said " what am I supposed to do call 25 people to let them know we are running behind?" And hung up on me. Wanted to try a new pizza joint so we stopped in. Drove by this place for years just never went in. First off. It's called brick oven it's not coal. It's not woods. It's just a plain old gas pizza oven. I should of walked out when I walked in. I guess they don't want to run the AC in the summer it was hot AF in there. And the place is dirty. They need to clean it up and maybe spruce it up a bit, it's old and dated. Now the food. The pizza was just ok, nothing special, tasted like every other pizza joint in the area. The one who gave 5 stars must have no taste buds or just never left a area. Garlic knots, bland, burnt garlic and no olive oil on them. Would I go back. Nah, drive by it. Good pizza for a reasonable price. I ate in and had two slices of pizza. The pizza was hot, fresh, and crispy. The staff was friendly and got me a cup and straw for my can of soda. They have reasonably priced menu items. I enjoyed my lunch and can recommend eating here. read more

Ok let's talk about the one star rating. If you could rate it less than one I would. The low rating is not because of the food. The food is actually very good. The pizza is great and the other menu items are pretty good also. The issue of Jacks Brick Over is the pure ineptitude and complete lack of customer service on the part of the staff. The young lady working the counter should really find other employment that suits her. Something that does not involve human interaction would be great for the rest of us. On to my recent experience. Order three CHEESE steaks minus the onion and sauce. One with lettuce. Sounds pretty simple. It's not I guess. We get three cheese steaks with no cheese. Just meat. The one with lettuce, another train wreck in that the lettuce was not shredded but like they dumped a side salad on it. Time to call. They're 'shocked' but make no offer to comp the totally messed up pickup order and act insulted when I come back to the restaurant. The lovey gem at the counter already has a snotty look on her face. You can just tell her overall demeanor and general intelligence level is nil. With options like Franks Pizza and Steffano's, you be amiss to not go to the other local restaurants for a much more inviting dine in option and a correct takeout order. Finally stopped by here after work, on my way home from getting my son. I don't know why I never stopped in here before. I had ordered online (love ordering and paying online!).. I ordered a thin Sicilian slice to try, a ham and cheese calzone and garlic knots. First off, I ate the slice in the care and it was amazing. I couldn't stop thinking about it because I wanted more. Also, when we arrived the girl at the counter was super nice and then another guy came by, saw my son and gave him a bag of chips. The girl gave me some water with no problem and then even offered to refill it without me asking. She was super friendly and so was everyone else. So a day later, I ordered a thin Sicilian pie. It was good again. So I am not sure why the bad reviews. I know they changed owners I believe but anyway. If anything try the Sicilian, there is no good Sicilian near my house in Bethlehem township so I was happy to find this place and bonus they deliver. None of the kitchen staff wear masks. They are right in the front of the store where you can see them and it isnt even like they have a mask down under their nose, they dont have any masks at all. The food is decent, not really any complaints there, but when you deal with people in the middle of a pandemic and you cant even do the basic things that everyone can see, it has to make you wonder what else they are not doing to be clean or safe. read more

Pizza is decent but it seems like the toppings don't go far enough toward the edge of the pizza. Delivery is mediicre at best because the toppings are often all spilled to one side and the beverages are either missing or wrong. Don't expect a smile if you go in either. Sadly, this place has gone downhill to the point where the delivery convenience isn't worth the yukky slop they are trying to pass off as pizza. Definitely better off getting in your car and picking up at Sorella's then dealing with the arrogance you have to endure in the name of delivery. We always took advantage of the delivery and the 2 for $18.99 pizza special, sometimes adding toppings, and it was good for a while. The last few times all of the toppings and cheese are shifted off to one side of the pizza and oozing under the crust. I called to let them know this was the case, thinking the new delivery person didn't know to keep the pies level, (wasn't looking for a refund or replacement, it was late & we were starving) and was offered a discount on my next order. I used the discount the next time I ordered ($5.00/2 pies). Had the same issue the last two times but didn't complain. This last (& FINAL) order was a complete wreck and when I called I was met with the attitude that I was somehow trying to pull a fast one on them. $28.00 plus tip for two one-topping pizzas, they better be right. They reluctantly offered to replace the order with two fresh pies which I accepted, then proceeded to call me back three more times and tell me to "make sure I gave them the old pies back" and "the delivery guy must be crazy" and "do you still want the new pizzas". Finally I called back told them to come and pick up the pizza and bring my $28.00 back. Will never order from them again. read more

There were only 2 types of peppers and the mushrooms that I requested be added in the dish. There were no carrots, broccoli, zucchini etc. Nothing that used to be normally in the dish. I asked for bread to be added to the order like you would receive if eating in the restaurant. The pizza was ok, but the manager was a jerk to us. We had a $25 gift certificate and our bill came out to about $21. He refused to give us credit for the remaining balance and he got angry and acted like we were trying to rip him off or something when we questioned him about it. If he would have used a little bit of common sense, he would've realized that we would've come back later to give him more business. The bbq chicken and German pizza are great but the basic pizza and other specialty pizza just ok. The manager/owner is ridiculous. We wanted get the special 2 pizzas 18.99 and add a topping to both and they said no you cant get the special then, you will have to pay regular price. The customer service here is terrible! The food is ok but everytime we get pizza delivered the cheese has slide off the pizza and its a mess and we only live right down the road from this establishment! The woman who anwsers the phone is very, rude I asked for extra ranch and she said it was a $2.00 fee?? For what?? A whole bottle?! I only asked for a little extra and her response was "well we do that here" in a very unprofessional irrated tone. Either the many bad reviews on here are all written by people that simply do not know what they are talking about, or my family is just plain lucky, because we have ordered Jack's more than fifty times over the past few years, and have never had a bad experience. Granted, people are particular about their pizza, and I get that. Jack's has a nice, sweet, bright red marinara, which some do not like. If you are a fan of that type of sauce on your pizza, you owe it to yourself to try out Jack's. Had a coupon from my entertainment book so my son and I decided to try it. He ordered the veal parm, I got a special of angel hair, scallops and a crab cake. We also got a slice of pizza to try it. The pizza was really good, I'd get pizza from here again. The salad was eh. The entrees were good. The pasta was cooked well. The veal was very good. The scallops were tender. When you have allergies you depend on places getting your order correct. I've had pizza from here this place before at my job and it was wonderful, so I decided to stop in early afternoon one day on my way home and order something to bring with me. As I arrived, there was a young lady sitting outside smoking a cigarette. She smiled and greeted me and I went inside. There was a man at the pizza counter working on pizza but he was talking on his phone and didn't acknowledge me. I stood there for a second and the young woman came inside and asked if I was picking up. I said no, that I wanted to order to go and I had grabbed a menu and looked it over. The girl seemed annoyed that I was there and not ready to order as if I was interrupting something. While I looked over their menu, the girl proceeded to pack another order without properly washing her hands after smoking. I was willing to accept that she must have just forgotten that time. The other older gentleman in a beanie style hat who was also smoking outside came inside and reached in the container for ice for his drink (WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS). While I still perused the menu for a good option for me and my husband, the girl took multiple phone calls and seemed to be scolding any customer who called. I didn't feel as though I wanted to eat here anymore and decided to go elsewhere. Before I even pulled out of the restaurant the girl went outside and finished her cigarette, as though not caring that I left. I will not be ordering from here. read more

Have to help this place out. I think their pizza is good. Recently moved to Lower Nazareth. We've orders pizza (pick up) from them about 3 times now and all had been good. Once or twice we felt like it was a bit undercooked, but always friendly service and quick, too. Next time might ask them to leave pizza in for an extra minute or two. Good taste to it!
