But the biggest thing is you are the mercy of the weather if you are looking to utilize the lovely grounds. The weather on the day I was there couldn't have been nicer. But if it would have been held just one week earlier, it would have been a muddy mess and cars might have had trouble getting in and out. So you are taking a gamble there. That's obviously not the venue's fault, but it would be understandable to go with a fully indoor venue just to have one less thing to worry about. But the wedding I went to was very nice.

This is a family-run business and they excel in everything they've done so far. We took a tour of the venue and we're extremely excited to book our date. Unfortunately our date was already booked. So back to the drawing board on what date to pick. As soon as we figure that out we will be booking here. If you're looking for a rustic Barn type wedding then this is the place for you. They have a bridal suite and a groomsmen Suite off to the side of the main Barn. Each room has a couch and large bathroom with plenty of room to hang your formal attire. Very clean and well maintained. They offered to bring you drinks and food while you're staying there. Which also your stay is for the full 24 hours of the day that you booked. So that means you can go on the 40 acres and fish out of the pond or hike back in the woods. Anything you want to do on that day you can do. There is also a place back in the woods that you can use as your nuptial setting. They set up hay bales for seating and chairs if you prefer. They seem to want to handle everything from your flowers to your food. If you have a certain person you want to use, you tell them who that person is, and they contact that person and set up the date and time for you. I can't wait to be able to update my review after the fall of 2018.

I was impressed overall by how classy looking and well maintained it is inside. It is pleasantly/nicely decorated, and has a very charming and warm atmosphere due to the age and architecture of the home. I would venture to guess the home is at least 100 years old. I think I would very much consider frequenting this business again if I ever needed the space for their services. I am not sure what they charge for renting their space for awhile, but it would be interesting to look into it further. It's also nice to know it is very close to where I live as well.

The restrooms are tidy and well kept. The kitchen was a useful resource as well. The architecture and design are very attractive; it's a historic town, so many of the buildings are Federal style architecture. The staircase is well kept and the artwork inside is beautiful. It's a great little spot to host about 40 people comfortably. There is a beautiful fountain just outside the building and many shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance. They also host a farmers market next to this building, on Broadway Street, Saturday mornings.
