Nothing fancy or pretentious here. I had the Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and Cole Slaw. The pot roast was fork tender and pretty good. Mashed potatoes were decent and I really liked the Cole slaw. Their Cole slaw is the 'creamy' style. The cabbage is cut very finely. I did enjoy it. My wife had the breaded tenderloin sandwich with fries. She proclaimed the Tenderloin the best she's had. Crispy outside, tender inside. She ordered her fries crispy but they were served flabby. This is one of the few restaurants that prices are still reasonable. Meal and drinks (tea) average $12 a person. Service was excellent. We are looking forward to returning and both ordering the Tenderloin sandwich.

Tried to get some of that amazing pineapple upside down cake to go, so we could take care of our waitress with the cool dimple piercings and ink, and she wouldn't let us pay for anything. Never have I felt such gratitude from beautiful strangers as I have just now. From a former servicemen and his wife, to the owner and other patrons. The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening!
