I also bought a gift card for Family and when I gave it to them for Christmas, they said we love this place and go there all the time. We met friends. It's a wonderful place to sit and chat. We were in town for the week and our family and friends all gathered at this location to sit and have a meal together. It's a cool building with some vintage items in showcases from the days of it being a furrier . There's a very big photo from back in the day and I believe some of our family members are in the picture as this is the town where the family has lived for decades. The food is delicious and the portions are large. We ordered a variety of breakfast items. I did a build your own omelette, we ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage, French toast, pancakes, and eggs. When breakfast menu is finished at 11 AM, they have teatime as they prepare for the lunch menu. Our friends had not arrived yet so we sat through teatime and when they arrived, they ordered the cod from the lunch menu. The weight staff is fantastic, place is very tidy, and the meals are delicious. Next time I am in the area I'll definitely stop and have a meal.

The homemade chips were delicious as well, they were not all super crispy and I can't decide if that's a good thing or not. All food was great!!! The diner is nice and quiet and the food feels like home. Our server was fun and very welcoming. I didn't catch her name and I feel bad about that. We will be back to try other items for sure.

The decor is country with country music playing in the background. Holly, our server, was friendly, engaging and attentive. She checked on us regularly. Food came out super quickly. They offer daily lunch specials and have a standard breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered a vegetable omelette that was filled with onions, peppers and tomatoes and my choice of cheese. The omelette was large, light and perfectly cooked. The star of the breakfast for me was the marbled rye toast which was delicious. My husband had the Rise and Shine breakfast which was a hearty meal with two perfectly cooked eggs, a homemade biscuit, hash browns and a meat which he chose bacon. He would have preferred the bacon to be a little more crisp, but the breakfast was, overall, a winner. The assorted jellies were a hit. Price were really reasonable. They were half full during our early morning visit, but the noise level is high. The restaurant is an easy/fast two miles off the highway. There is also plenty of parking around the building. The restrooms are super clean and nice.

The first time at the Corner Stone bakery we walked out after not getting our meal after waiting for an hour, so this time we're not getting fooled again. The difference at Storie's is our server Kelli recognized the issue, and told us there was a kitchen issues after our dinner was not out after 20 minutes. Kelli told us what was happening, gave us free pie and took our drinks off our bill and asked if we wanted it to go. Our dinner was finally ready after 35 minutes, so we boxed it up and went home. Kelli apologized multiple times, and that's how service is supposed to happen. The pie was fantastic, apple and coconut cream. Fish was very good, shrimp was good, mashed potatoes and corn ok. Tartar sauce, yummy. Thanks to Kelli for making our long wait

Great american diner and people that work there! Food was exceptional! Donna asked me if I wanted my bacon crispy, stated the sausage gravy had a hint of spice, and that the biscuits were good. She was spot on about everything and it was great! My compliments to Donna and the kitchen staff!! Well done !!!! I recommend sitting by the booth near the kitchen window.

It was delicious, and we've eaten there a few times since and always have a great experience. We both have been wanting to try some of their lunch specials, but we work and can't get there to check it out. We were off today and decided to go there for lunch because they were having chicken and noodles, and that's one of my favorite meals. It did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and even ordered seconds to go, so we could have it for dinner. The chicken and noodles came with mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, and a roll. You could definitely tell the food was homemade too. Delicious! The Farmhouse Diner isn't a very big restaurant and can get pretty busy. It reminds me of a little country diner where all the local farmers and their wives go to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. We will definitely be going back.
