The entrance smelled divine, and I also liked the candles in the restrooms. Love that there's local art for sale on the walls as well. Overall, the food was excellent. I liked the farmhouse melt; it had lots of great flavor. The cornflake breading on the sweet bird was a nice touch. However, I wish the sweet bird had a little more salt and the fries had a little more Parmesan. You absolutely must order the livers and deviled eggs; definitely a crowd favorite. I did not get to try dessert this time around, but I will be back soon.

Nothing fancy or pretentious here. I had the Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and Cole Slaw. The pot roast was fork tender and pretty good. Mashed potatoes were decent and I really liked the Cole slaw. Their Cole slaw is the 'creamy' style. The cabbage is cut very finely. I did enjoy it. My wife had the breaded tenderloin sandwich with fries. She proclaimed the Tenderloin the best she's had. Crispy outside, tender inside. She ordered her fries crispy but they were served flabby. This is one of the few restaurants that prices are still reasonable. Meal and drinks (tea) average $12 a person. Service was excellent. We are looking forward to returning and both ordering the Tenderloin sandwich.
