First time trying The Bridge. We got the wings, burger, country fried steak, and cheese curds. They were all AMAZING!!! The strawberry jalapeño jam that comes with the cheese curds I could just eat with a spoon. Unfortunately we didn't get the fries with the burger and the egg for country fried steak was way overcooked, but when we called up to the restaurant they were MORE than accommodating. If you are looking for somewhere to watch a game and eat some good food, this is the place for you. Tvs are placed all around the restaurant so anywhere you are sitting you'll get a view. What I love most about this place is the service. The bartender greeted us instantly, was super friendly and efficient. We ordered the crab cakes which was loaded with crab but wasn't so much of a cake, which was great but I like my crab cakes with a bit of a crisp to them. My husband and I also shared the bridge burger and it was juicy and cooked to our liking. I could eat an entire basket of their truffle fries... so good. Definitely would come back. read more

We were a group of 4 and got there around 11:30am on 6/11/17 for Sunday brunch. We were sat immediately on the patio at our request, had prompt service, and delicious food. Everyone's food looked amazing, but I especially liked my meal. Being originally from Austin, I am pretty picky about "Southern Comfort Foods." I had the chicken fried steak and was very satisfied. If you're wondering what to order- get the cheese curds. Dear Lord, those things are good! The Bridge has never disappointed me with the quality of their food, and they have a good selection. My husband can even find tasty gluten free options (like the bacon wrapped dates). The drinks are reasonably priced, and they have a good selection of beers and cider on tap. I've found their mix drinks to be generously poured and well mixed, too. The wait staff is also good at giving recommendations, and I've never been disappointed when I have asked what they would suggest. Finally, I have always found the service to be stellar. Even though the place keeps pretty busy, the servers and bartenders make your drinks and food appear quickly. Additionally, game day can be crowded, but even when I have arrived late, they are really great at finding a space. I love The Bridge and look forward to my next experience there! read more

I came here the day after Christmas to have a beer and something to eat with my parents. The ambiance was casual but not divey. I always enjoy going into a bar and seeing "regulars" that everyone knows without feeling out of place myself. The food was well made. The ingredients seemed fresh and clean. They also had a respectable beer menu. The waitress was friendly and attentive. This is definitely a place I'd go to often if I lived in West Seattle and a sign of the continued improvement that the neighborhood has been experiencing over the last decade. read more

This is such a great spot - The Bridge is a sports bar (which is not typically my jam), but it also has next-level bar food. You're mostly going to see the standard bar fare, but it is made exceedingly well and there is usually some house-special surprise (like house made ketchup) to add a little something to the dish. I think their prices are totally reasonable and their drink selection is great. The staff has always been helpful and friendly to me, and their patio is wonderful on a beautiful day. Stop in and give them a shot before skipping down the street to Beveridge Place for a post-burger beer. read more

Came in today around 2 for my 2nd attempt here and I won't be coming back. Just like my last trip a few weeks ago the service is horrible. Last trip it took a good 10 minutes before anyone even stopped by our table to bring menus or water and another 15 minutes after that before we got to order a drink. Today it took our server nearly a half hour after getting our drink & appetizer order to come back for our food order. He did manage to get four other tables orders done before even coming back to my party of four for our order. This is about the same experience I had last time which is totally unprofessional. Now in his defense he appears to be the only server on staff. Last time a manager had to come out and take orders so this place appears to be horribly understaffed. When our food finally arrived we didn't even mention to the server that our appetizer (their delicious cheese curds) haven't even shown up yet because at that point we were so frustrated and hungry we just wanted to eat and get out. The food here is pretty delicious but sadly the lack of service that I've experience twice in a row will make me look elsewhere when I want to go out and grab a bite and a drink in West Seattle. read more

Yesterday spent a couple hours at The Bridge during fantasy football draft. Still give it 4 stars and hoping the issue from yesterday was an aberration. Service - Excellent. Constantly refilled water and checked up on us. Was efficient but discreet and very friendly. Happy Hour Food - We had the Steak Kabobs, Flautas, and French Fries. All were prepared well, served hot and very good. The fries are excellent and will have to try some of their other dipping sauces next time. The Issue - There was an intoxicated (I presume) guest sitting at the bar who was very loud and swearing with every other sentence. Not an atmosphere I want to be part of. I can understand some cussing during football season by fans but that was not the case here. It was not addressed by the staff at The Bridge unfortunately. read more

The Bridge is a great place to watch a game. Their new place on California is way better than the old one! They had the wonderful opportunity to update an old, shuttered bar and make it their own. There are booths, tables & chairs, and bar seating - a little something for everyone! There are plenty of TVs (big and huge) to watch your favorite games. They have strong drinks, a great beer selection, and really yummy food. The service is friendly and attentive as well. My only complaint is that when sitting in a booth during an important game (like a Seahawks game), people have a tendency to stand in front of the booths and watch the game. This means that you either have to basically stand up in the booth or ask people to move out of the way, which can be difficult for reasons like not anywhere else to stand or a**holes not caring if you can see or not. Love the "fry bar", they really give a generous serving. The Fried green tomatoes are done with their own twist, and I like the spice factor. Chipotle, it was. Today I tried the house burger. Cooked exactly as I asked, and nicely topped. Also - JUICY. The BF had chicken caesar salad, and it was also a very generous serving. The only thing I'm not keen on so far, is I tried my friend's order of butternut squash. I found it very bland. Tried to be regulars still when they moved to Morgan Junction, but the food quality has just been plummeting. One party member had the peppercorn steak - awful. I didn't know you could screw up a sauce/steak like that. Bison burger was OK but nothing great. Bbq chicken tasted like spicy ketchup and the tacos were blah. Bring back the old Bridge. read more

I only have good things to say about The Bridge. Since it's a brand new bar, both the inside and outside are gorgeous (and I appreciate their nod to the old bar with the Chuck&Sally's sign inside!). The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Their drinks and food are affordable (even after happy hour ends) and SUPER yummy. I highly recommend their Tres Tacos... I had the chicken and it had a nice slightly charred taste without being overcooked or dry. On happy hour they're only $6, and the portion is enough for a meal! Just a quick update: Have now been back about 7 times and still have no critical remarks. If you're lucky enough to catch their cream of spinach soup for dinner, do it! One cup is enough as it's very rich but more than satisfying. The black pepper house-made biscuits are another "must try." The fries are beer-battered and oh so good (and good for you - I just know it) ... Michael regretfully stated the chicken sausages are one of the few things that aren't made in house, but they are worth a try also. Caprese sliders are made with the pesto marinated chicken breast on some excellent potato buns. Oh, and their Eggs Benedict is still definitely one of the best in Seattle. It's still an excellent Sports Bar but with more food options, a larger full bar, a better Happy Hour menu and HD big-screens everywhere. I've been to the new location twice and both times we sat at the bar. We watched the Dawgs hand it to BYU for the Fight Hunger Bowl. I seriously doubt that you could find a seat without a good view of whatever game is on with all the big-screens in the house. For this Husky bowl game, most tables were reserved with only the bar and bar table available for walk-ins. I could hear several people complaining about a sports bar with reservations suggesting a first-come basis on game day. We were walk-ins and found seats at the bar and got excellent service all night so no problems here. Our food was good both times and it didn't take long to get it ordered and in front of us. It's the first time I've seen GF and GFO all over a sports pub menu (gluten free and gluten free option). The burger and fries were great and I hear the Twisted Tamale thing was pretty good too. Consistently good brunch and dinner. The massive Greek Salad is a great starter. Love the Chicken Fried Steak (and love the fact it can be ordered at brunch or dinner). This place feels like the old-fashioned neighborhood pub, where people know you.
