Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this iconic hotel! The reception area was spacious and the staff was helpful and informative. Our room was lovely, super clean and comfortable. The parking was easy, right in front of the hotel. Attached to the hotel was an elegant restaurant which was convenient! On the roof we had a spectacular view of this beautiful town, and we had a blast singing karaoke with the lively crowd! It was amazing to see the famous Bristol sign lit up from the rooftop! Right next door is the Birthplace of Country Music museum and you receive complimentary entry if you stay at the Bristol!The park across the street was lovely! The Bristol Hotel in Bristol, Virginia, has a cute boutique, a reasonably priced restaurant, and a popular rooftop bar attraction. I enjoyed my one-night stay to attend a concert at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It is conveniently located near downtown Bristol, within walking distance of the Country Music Museum and across the street from a dog park and news station. The property and rooms are clean and comfortable despite having a smoker's floor and are pet-friendly. The walls are thin and near a railroad train crossing. The rooms have plenty of pillows, towels, and toiletries. It has a Keurig, combination safe, mini fridge, ample closet, and drawer space. The staff and patrons are friendly. Street parking is available. Check-in and check-out could be quicker and smoother. It is a nice place to stay if you are passing through to your next destination. read more

From parking by the entrance to being greeted by the friendliest staff ever, The Bristol Hotel exceeded our expectations. When have you spent an overnight "get-away" with a lovely suite, an evening of cocktails and food for two and a morning brunch for a little over $500? All with a 5 star rating! What a surprise. Being from Buffalo we're more than a bit critical of wings so when lemony chicken wings came crunchy and yummy our taste buds jumped for joy. But those brunch time blueberry pancakes were beyond compare. (You may want to share) Please don't hesitate booking a stay at The Bristol while enjoying the Birth Place of Country Music. In town to check out the new Hard Rock casino. The hotel has been renovated but they did not take into consideration the lack of storage for your clothes. There are absolutely no drawers or a dresser, just a wardrobe w/shelves. There's a restaurant on site but we missed breakfast/brunch so the staff called over to a local restaurant "Bloom" (check out my review). Be mindful, parking is on street. You should not have trouble finding a space but you may have to walk. You can unload in front of the entrance. read more

We were in town for a couple of days, mainly to hike Devil's Bathtub. Hotel is in a great location, a block off of State Street, which is super convenient. I will admit I was a little paranoid about the lack of a hotel-designated parking lot, but we didn't have too much of an issue finding parking on the street in front of the hotel. The only thing I would add here is that we wound up taking a Lyft out on Saturday evening, as there was a Halloween parade downtown and thus there were a ton of cars around, and we knew if we moved our car, we'd never find a spot near the hotel when we returned about and would wind up having to park well out of sight of the hotel, which is not ideal. We ate at Vivian's Friday evening, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding....note, while the restaurant is off the lobby of the hotel, it doesn't seem they are formally connected (there did not appear to be any charge to room ability at the restaurant). We also enjoyed a snack and a drink at the rooftop bar earlier in the afternoon, which was very pleasant with nice views. The room was very nice, we stayed in the Americana Suite, which was nicely appointed and very clean. Could have used a few more towels but aside from that it was very nice. One point for those who might struggle with carting their own luggage, there is no luggage assistance available...it's a "cart your own" sort of deal, which was fine for us, but I imagine if you are a Senior and need baggage assistance it might be sort of difficult. read more

Got the upgraded room and it was quite pleasant. Bed is super comfy and separate enough suite bathroom was very open and nice. Rooftop is amazing for the view. Highly recommend for those staying or not staying to visit. This is my go to hotel for the area. Construction reminds me of the Hudson in NY. Could have some more entertainment for the guests in my opinion. Music or DJ in evenings during the week,as an example. Couple of quick notes about the room, the bathroom puddles with the stand up shower and only curtain to retain water. This makes the tile floor quite slippery. Also, during the week the rooftop does not allow children. Big problem for us. Also, it's not open after 10pm so not convenient for travelers in a sleepy town. Regarding reservations, the desk was very friendly but offered an expensive rate. They could see it was late and I had uncomfortable children with me. Goregeous hotel. Pricey at $250 a night on a Saturday but we got a discount of 20%. The hotel room was clean and newly furnished with exceptional decor. We loved the interior design and amenities provided. There is no free breakfast yet we were content with the coffee in our room and the tea provided downstairs. We didn't have time to enjoy the hotel since we stayed for the night. The staff is very nice and provides toothpaste & toothbrushes along with a shaving kit since we forgot to pack them for our trip. read more

Super classy high rise hotel in downtown Bristol a block from State Street and the TN border. Cindy the night manager was awesome and showered our Milly with delicious treats and brought an elevated dog food/water bowl to our room. Rooms are elegant and the mattresses might be the most comfortable we've ever experienced in a hotel (or else it was the 2am checkin time)! Bathroom is large and the waterfall shower is a nice touch. Rooftop bar is amazing with great outdoor and indoor areas (21+ only). Parking seems rough but I spoke with management and the local police and apparently you're okay (no enforcement of signs) parking almost anywhere on the streets immediately outside the hotel. Just in case, there's also an overflow lot around the block. Didn't get a chance to try Vivian's the in house restaurant but we walked two blocks to the Black Bird Bakery which was fantastic! Front desk staff during the day was also super friendly and helpful. This will definitely become our #1 Pit Stop (see what I did there?) on the speedway to Alabama! read more

Wonderful hotel. Spacious and clean. The ceiling fan is cool decor but is loud, which I like but not my wife. Luggage carts were available. Loading and unloading takes place on street. We were luck to find last spot near hotel although they are 15 minute spots. Other guests may not be adhering to these rules. Parking is across the street. Not a huge deal due to nice weather. The homeless hang out nearby at the park in the morning. There was no traffic for a Saturday night and Sunday morning. Quick drive to casino with no issues. read more

A true gem! The Bristol Hotel is an upscale boutique hotel with all the amenities you could ask for. Check in went smoothly and we loved our 7th floor corner room with great views of the surrounding town. Comfy bed, plush towels, walk-in shower with high quality bath products. Huge TV, nice work space and lots of outlets and charging options also make it great for business travelers as well. We also loved Vivian's restaurant for breakfast. read more

Stayed here for one quick night in November. The hotel was very clean and the room was decorated nicely. We did not experience any issues. This is our third time staying at The Bristol Hotel. The rooms and the entire hotel is very nice, modern, comfortable and very clean. Every employee we have encountered have been very nice complementing this lovely hotel. There is a rooftop bar and a restaurant on main level. The location is excellent. It is nextdoor to the Country Music Hall of Fame and walking distance to restaurants and bars. It's also just a few minutes drive to The Bristol Casino soon to be The Hard Rock. read more

This was our first night of a long road trip and decided to stop in Bristol. Very glad we did. The room was comfortable and the size worked great. The staff was friendly from the time we arrived until we checked out the next day. Because it was only one night I cannot speak to room service other than to say the room was very clean when we checked in and the amenities were very nice in the bathroom. This is definitely worth a stop if heading this way especially with the museum next door and the in hotel restaurant which is also fantastic. read more

This place looked really nice and fancy. We were able to call the front desk and get a room reserved the same day and they also allow pets. We were actually passing through Bristol, VA back to Raleigh, NC coming from a UTV tour in TN. Need less to say our UTV tour got us all muddy and since we were checking into the hotel immediately after our tour to shower we walked into this fancy hotel all muddy. Actually the mud had dried so it was dirt on our clothes lol. Anyways as my husband stood in line waiting his turn to check in, the ladies at the front desk were kind of looking down their nose at him because he was dirty. By the time it was his turn the gentleman that we have made our reservation with or the phone came to the front desk to check him in. This gentleman was very polite and friendly. When we got to our room there was a dog bed and a water and food bowl for our fur baby. We thought that was an extremely thoughtful accommodation. The room was huge and clean. One slight flaw was our carpet had a couple pieces of carpet patched in (see photos). The hotel doesn't have a designated parking area. You park on the street in front of the hotel if there are any open spots, otherwise there is a public parking lot across the street from the hotel. We were lucky enough to have a room that faced the street so we could see our vehicle. Bed was very comfy and there was no outside noise. read more

I came across this Beautiful hotel as I headed home from Virginia. I was amazed by the stylish decor but most of all the scented hall ways. The room super spacious and cleaned. Sheets smelled super cleaned. If I am ever in this area again I would definitely stay gain. . The restaurant walking distance from them was super good and delicious food. Lovely hotel, beautiful rooms. There is a park across the street that we visited late in the evening after walking back from downtown. Our room was very comfortable and styled well. We had a corner room, which allowed us beautiful views on two sides of the building. There is parking immediately outside the building on the street, which we took advantage of. What a great hotel! Beautiful, stylish and right in the middle of downtown Bristol,Va. This brick hotel was once a school converted to hotel. As you take the stairs, you can see how it looks like stairwells from a school. It's a dog friendly hotel and they had doggie water and food bowls already in the room for us. It's the little things that count! Directly across the street from the hotel is a big public park, which I assume concerts may be held there. Great place to walk your fur-babies too. The highlight is the AWESOME rooftop bar and lounge area. In the evening, it's the place to be! Almost forgot to mention, just pull up and the valet attendant will park your car. read more

The Bristol Hotel is one of the best hotels that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Where to start? The first impression was the building, the exterior is very well done. The lobby and all of the furnishings are clean and higher end contemporary. The valet parking attendants were very welcoming and very nice throughout our stay. The staff from the first person I met to the last when we checked out were very nice and attentive to our needs. The security of the hotel was great as well, your room key was also used to allow access to the elevators. Without it you had no access to any of the floors above. The rooms were very well kept and very well done. My room had a super comfortable king size bed, a coffee bar, a nice size desk with a great view of Bristol, a nice sitting area to to enjoy a great book, and a very nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. They also provided nice robes, an ironing board and lots of extra pillows. It was truly one of the best nights rests that I have had in a while. They also have a roof top area where you can sit and enjoy the view or hangout with your pals. There is a rooftop lounge as well with a full bar if that's your thing, either way it's a great place to relax. This is definitely a place that I look forward to staying at again. read more

We arrived late and thankfully the restaurant was still open. We checked into our room -beautiful-clean-new Very happy. Bellman pointed out our view of the famous Bristol sign which was cool. Didn't notice the TRAIN at that point (big mistake). We went down stairs and got seated immediately. The service after was ungodly long Took about 4 minutes to get our drinks while we glanced the menu. About 15 -at least-for our server to return. Long story short. Great food. But not worth the wait Back to the room. A horrendous train whistle first sounded around 11pm. Then every hour after until around 4am. And I'm using whistle lightly. It was a ghastly loud intrusive horn Oh and no hot water in the shower. So. Take it however you want. Beautiful hotel. Inexperienced staff read more

The Bristol Hotel is the perfect mix of trendy boutique hotel and convenience. Bristol is a cozy little town but The Bristol gives it that big city feel. The decor is super trendy with lots of cute photo ops. The beds are super comfortable and our room even had a fan, BONUS! Ask for a corner room if you like lots of windows and natural light. The bathroom had plenty of space and the shower was luxurious with a stationary shower heard and a shower wand. The amenities were nice too. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. Lots of street parking, it says two hour limit but the hotel said this is not enforced. There's also a free parking lot across the street. This is a great amenity, due to tight parking downtown, especially during events. Park and stay at The Bristol, then walk the short 2 minute walk to everything!!!!
