The host was very engaging and gave us a description and origin of each wine that was selected. I've neve experienced anything like this, it was so engaging and well orchestrated. They had a small menu of items that you could order for small bites. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was really yummy! And the garlic Parmesean wings, the wings had a bit of a kick to them and were a bit too salty for my liking, but they were cooked well and very meaty, if you like that sort thing! They also had 5 dollar drinks/cocktails available to order a well. The entire time they had a DJ playing all the hits and after the wine tasting, people got up and danced, laughed and had a good Ole time on the dance floor. It was such a great experience! We had a snafu with one of our vendors arriving late. All I had to do was let her know, and she immediately executed a plan B flawlessly. The Magnolia Room has been beyond accommodating with us, since our date is such short notice. They have been so kind, sympathetic to our situation, and seem to genuinely care that our wedding day goes smoothly and is exactly what we picture. Unfortunately, no one ever opened the doors for the event. A bunch of us had to call customer service to find out the event was cancelled without notifying us. I can't comment on the inside of the building other than what I saw from the doors. The grounds weren't kept well and it was off putting to see trash, people's dirty socks and a homeless persons sleeping arrangement right at the entrance door. I understand people are just doing the best they can but when people are paying for these tickets the area should be clean. Our group decided we won't return to this venue and will look for the show in another area.

The space holds 400 people and offers some free parking. There is a small reception space that can hold 150 people. Uptown Church uses it on Sundays.
