They weren't soggy, they were hard as week old loaves, they were PERFECT. They're on the dense side but moderately drenched in yalls syrup... KNOCKED them out of the park! I hope this place sticks around and grows, I would love to see this in Des Moines. Service was great, the guy who took our order walked us through the menu and let us know that anything can be made Traditional, vegan, or gluten-free, the price point was excellent, and they have a very wide option for drinks, and great choices of sides, but you must try frozen body froyo, don't leave without getting one of those. I love a robot that sings Happy Birthday to you while delivering your food! I got a biscuit in gravy and a side of fruit. This was just a very unique place overall. Has a lot going on with brunch options (no cocktail menu) and frozen yogurt. I wanted to come just to see the robot deliver our food and we were told it was "sleeping" today because a long weekend. So that was disappointing. We ordered the Foodie Box which was 4 entrees and 2 sides. We ordered the loaded tots, biscuits and gravy, Mac and cheese, and burrito for the entrees. And for our sides we had the cinnamon roll and fruit. The coffee was self serve keurig and packet hot chocolate. This was a little less than $50 with tip. It was a lot of food but nothing was much of quality unfortunately. I'm giving this place a 5 star review out of overall satisfaction. Truly, for the price you're getting a great bang for your buck. I really like that you can pick any entree with any side and then any drink. It was a complete meal! I had the spicy chicken and waffles and the waffles were so fluffy! I am not normally a waffle girl but they really hit the spot. I had a side salad and a Starbucks bottled coffee from their fridge. Chicken and biscuit sandwich with the gravy was really good. I had the chicken and waffle sandwich which was good, but I would have preferred the waffles to be a bit crispy; they were soft. The cinnamon roll you can pick as a side was really good too and not as sweet as I thought it'd be. They also serve dole froyo, and it's pretty top tier in my opinion. They also sell DogGurt if you want to pick something up for your little (or big) four legged furry friend/child. Parking is all street parking with meters, so anticipate that. Their menu was pretty small and didn't have a lot to choose from, but it was cool that they had options for gluten free and dairy free people, which my friend is. But they did have a lot of variations you can do! The vibe here was very unique but not my style personally; it was very millennial feeling. They have a robot bring your food out to you which is kind of cool but a little different. They use paper plates and plastic silverware, not fancy by any means. I really wanted to like this place, but with all the options for amazing brunch in the Omaha area this isn't one I would recommend going to. The food was overpriced and is mostly just store bought microwaveable and fried foods. A friend ordered the gluten free chicken and waffles and they were actually Eggo gluten free waffles with gluten free chicken tenders from the grocery store. The alcohol froyo is unique and I haven't seen much of that in the area, but it wasn't worth the $9 for a small cup. The inside was very nice though. Fast casual for breakfast is not a good thing. This place was sub par at best. Not to blame the staff because they tried hard. They were friendly. The place is small, but adequate about half dozen tables. The food is just not very good. I don't think the waffles were freshly made. They were square and seem like they were pre-formed. The chicken was not whole muscle and just a little bit better than a McDonald's chicken patty. The waffles were cold when we got them. The butter was still frozen so we sent it back to get it warmed up and I think they just microwaved it gave it back to us. The portion sizes were not bad. I got a boatload of tots. But they were slightly undercooked looked good, but not very good. I think this scrambled eggs was the only thing that maybe didn't get messed up. Anyway, I'll leave it at that. I visited Brunch Box near dinner time and got the vegan tater tots with jalepenos and tomatoes plus a flight of alcohol infused foryo. I liked the tater tots, especially the dairy-free cheese on top, it's some of the best dairy-free cheese I've ever had. I asked and apparently it's made in-house. This is our second time here - well worth the drive to downtown. My pre-teen daughter with celiac has had the GF items: Mac n cheese, chicken strips, cinnamon roll and several fro-yo cups-all "delicious!" Dedicated GF fried and work spaces. No gluten reactions either. My teen son with a dairy allergy devoured the milk free sausage gravy and biscuits -"best I've ever had". The tots are great too. It is so nice to be able to eat out without the hassle or worry of allergic reactions.
