If you want delicious comfort food that feels like it came out of grandma's kitchen - here's your place. A favorite breakfast/brunch spot for the locale, dont rule it out for yummy lunch entrees. Prices are comparable for a nice portion of food. Lived the warm scrambled eggs, maple bacon and pancakes. The 'make your own omelette' were scrumptious too. Side bar ...... delicious pastries for sale in their bakery attached to the restaurant. Find the time. Visit Farmhouse cafe!

We haven't been here in awhile but decided today was the day. It was very busy as usual, and I noticed how loud it seemed, despite carpeting and a low, non- industrial ceiling. We could still have a conversation, however. Bookguy ordered the lunch special which had spetzel, chicken, gravy, corn and I don't know what else. It came with a muffin, and he chose cherry. It was a generous portion and he really liked it. Not a scrap left on his plate. I had the choose-your-own omelette with broccoli, onion, and bell pepper. It came with fruit and a raft of well- cooked hash browns. The hash browns were just the way I like them--crispy brown. The eggs were also perfect and it's pretty hard to mess up fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was great as well. No wonder it's always crowded here!

We had a large table and the waitress did a good job keeping up with us. Giving 3 stars because those on my tab only got the blt and it was not made how we asked. I would still go back. Again with such a large table and it lunch hour on a weekend I think I owe it a 2nd chance

Had to of been an off morning... I don't remember the Rich Farmer's Benedict tasting so.. so damn flat before. Even the hollandaise sauce was disappointing. USUALLY it's tasted rich with flavor, but today... big ole nope. Not sure if it needed some salt or if they're purposefully going for some low sodium, low flavor, low everything trend I'm unaware of but it just didn't trip the breakfast trigger like before. I was really looking forward to a bangin' eggs benny, too. Requested that the hash browns be EXTRA crispy, and with more than a few dashes of seasoning, they sufficed. Am I the problem? And that sad, poor flat Butcher Shop Omelet... what is happening Farmhouse?! Ok... so maybe they dish their omelets a little different (flat vs folded) but just everything about it screamed *times are tough*. And they are; we get it. T added some hollandaise sauce to it, said it was "decent" and that he liked it but I don't think it blew air up his boxer briefs like before. Is he the problem? BUT... that blueberry muffin was killer! Little less sugar than we remember but the start of the show was definitely the fruit. Didn't make up for it? Ehhhh.... I was tempted to add a Bloody Mary but I didn't trust that it would actually taste anything remotely like one... perhaps next time, they'll be on their "A Game" like visits before. Of course we'll go again, we're breakfast whores!

Amazing Omaha cafe! It's in a great location with plenty of parking. The entrance is full of cakes, pies, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, breads, and cheesecakes. They all look amazing and are so tempting! They have a great selection of breakfast foods and lunch items. If you want classic, home style food, you want Farm House. The pancakes, rolls, and muffins are always fresh. They servers are attentive and kind, and there is plenty of seating indoors.

A great place to pick up pies, cakes, breads for take away. Also offering full-service dining with your traditional breakfast, brunch, or lunch menu items. Located directly next to Mangelsen's, you can shop if you need to wait for a table and they will page you. Complementary parking outside allows for easy access. Old fashion, no-frills mom and Pop type diner atmosphere. The restaurant opens early and is closed by 2 PM daily so check for hours before you head over! The service is very friendly and efficient and will ensure that you are well taken care of. Recommend this shop definitely for their cakes which are really delicious and very economical for events.

When I walked in the place was very clean and very cute. The staff was so friendly. I ordered the scrambled sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, tomatoes it was so good. The lady that helped me was so nice. She even threw a cinnamon roll in for on top of that.

Food was SO GOOD today....our server was "Cat" and she was friendly, attentive (but not annoying) EXCELLENT service ...fruit was so fresh and cold, food was amazing (no extra charge for "egg whites" only) ...the pancakes were huge...and Dean's omelette substituted kielbasa instead of ham...Farmhouse coffee is my all time favorite for breakfast, lunch or dinner......Happy Groundhog's Day!

At best breakfast here is mediocre.. the coffee was great as well as the servers. But the food wasn't good AT ALL! My omelet was made with square cheese and just a lazy attempt at an omelet. Pancakes tasted like they were straight from a box and my son had runny, powdered eggs. Complete waste of $$$ and I don't plan on going back here..

During our trip last year to the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting in Omaha, NE, we broke away from the crowds at the city center to find the most amazing pecan rolls and a hearty country breakfast of Chicken Fried Steak. Compared to the DC Metro area, everything was ridiculously low priced, but of high quality and made with care. Wish we had room in our luggage to bring back another loaf of their fresh baked bread. The loaf we had to hand-carry on the flight back made some really great grilled cheese sandwiches! The Pecan Rolls sell out fast. Best to get there before 9 AM, otherwaise, they will only have Cinnamon rolls left - which are also good. VIDEO: https://youtu.be/HW1MGfz-rUQ

I took my girls and mom out to lunch this past weekend. We got there around noon on a Saturday, so it was busy (not surprisingly). What's nice is that we were able to put our names on the list and then shop next door at Mangelsons. Once we got seated, our server was very kind. She was patient with us as it took kids time to figure out what they wanted to eat. The food was delicious. The only negative was that they were out of the brunch menu item that I tried to order from the specials menu--but things like that happen. The ambiance was nice and relaxed. People around us were having a good time. The servers were friendly and chatted us up, along with the people at other tables.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

We didnt know what to expect as we have never been to a Charleston's. It was nice, clean, and fancier than I thought it would be. The bartender was friendly and attentive and we were served right away. They have really good happy hour drink deals. 8 diff cocktails all $8 each. I got the crisp martini and my husband got the old fashioned. Both were good but the old fashioned was a little too sweet. For our appetizer we got the shrimp carrot which was super buttery and cheesy. We also split the flat iron steak special. We ordered it medium rare and it was more of a medium well. It was on the salty side and the steak had the same texture as ham or like a school lunch meat....something about it reminded me of a jerky too. It was interesting and didnt taste bad but unlike any steak texture I've ever had. It cost $29 so wasn't expensive for a steak but I guess we should've gone next door to Mahogany Prime if we wanted good steak or even Texas Roadhouse up the way. Even though we were disappointed with the steak we still had a great time. Will def come back and try a salad or the chicken piccata. Based on the steak, I would give the review a 3 but bc everything else was great, leaving it at a 4 bc I think we just ordered the wrong thing.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this restaurant. I ordered a margarita with…read moreno salt, but it was brought out with a salted rim, and I can see that salt dripped into the drink. I asked for it to be remade. What happened next was unacceptable. I watched the waitress take the drink back to the bar, where the bartender (with his hair parted in the middle) poured the margarita out of and over the salted rim, into a different glass instead of making a new one. That same drink was then brought back to me. This isn't just poor service, it's a serious health and safety concern for me. There is a reason I asked for no salt. Rather than admitting a mistake and correcting it properly, they chose to cut corners and hope I wouldn't notice. If I hadn't seen it happen, I would have unknowingly consumed something I specifically asked to avoid. There were other issues during the visit, but this alone is enough to ensure I won't be returning. Trust is critical when dining out, and unfortunately, this experience showed that it's lacking here.

Unfortunately after driving to the Ooh De Lally we were immediately turned away citing the no pet policy. I politely showed the hostess their listing and was directed to speak with a manager and I politely declined stating it was not needed. It's unfortunate that a business has full control over the information contained there and would be appropriate to update the information to prevent future patrons from being misled. After the rejection, there isn't a need for a future return. It would have only been decent customer service since the information was misleading to accommodate us, keeping in mind the pet was a 5.2lb 16 year old chihuahua that has cataracts, calm and making a stir while checking in and the patio only had one other table. The hostess felt the only recourse was to point me to a sign which I wasn't sure where it was because it didn't matter at this point, she stated her policy. I kindly referred her to the online info, and pulled the info up for her. We drove to dine and again, to create a future customer the choice was to instead decline and send us away. She did ask if he was a service animal but was not gonna take that away from a true service animal. Hopefully this place makes the needed corrections and unfortunately our experience will be how this was handled. Yes, I see the follow up from the restaurant and our decision to not return seems fit based on the "Owner" response. Good customer service would have been reflected in the response acknowledging more than just how "Frustrating" it was for us. No, being truly sincere would have been we appreciate your business and apologize for the inconvenience. Please here is 10% off your next meal or dessert is on us, please come back. We certainly don't care about the 10% but it's about the true understanding and apparently this is not the goal of the "owner". The effort as such would have prompted us to give another try. With the lack of effort to even bring a customer back speaks volumes. 2026 Omaha made changes for restaurants regarding pets and the disregard to an error and the drive we made apparently holds little to this establishment.

Most of the highlight was the various types of burgers and fries they had, so my partner and I got two kinds, and we both enjoyed our respective meals. I had the block burger, which was as good as I imagined it to be, with juicy patty cooked to medium and every ingredient needed to make a good burger. The poutine had a lot of beef gravy and cheese curds, which made the dish a comprehensive experience to consume, rather than just fries. The duck duck goose fries were amazing! The duck confit, cheese curds, mayo, gravy, and gooseberry gastrique combination worked super well on top of the fries, because they altogether basically made it a gourmet dish that I had to eat with a fork. Finally, the sloppy nick was seasoned very well, even if we got the vegan version, which used impossible meat instead of ground beef. It was still really great! Hope everyone who visits Omaha gets to try this spot! Their wall has quite a few articles that recognized them as a locally renowned burger joint, and I could see why. Since they can be busy, I would recommend people getting there earlier to secure a good table spot, if dining in.
