Slow help... one girl taking care of the entire establishment. We ordered the cheese curds for our table of 4... it came out with about 10 small, obviously frozen cheese curds. Extremely small portions for the $8 curds. When we asked if that was all, the waitress informed us that they're pre-portioned?! What restaurant buys pre-portioned frozen cheese curds. Very disappointing and not worth it. I will say the burgers were solid tho. read more

Food was meh. There were exactly 4 people to wait on yet the bartender had to be called over by us (two people) for refills. Rushed to order asked over and over in a ten min period when clearly we said we would wait a few while we enjoyed our drinks. As time passed it seemed to be a hangout for gays and the food was way overpriced! What is with the service fee? Skip it is the best things to do. read more

I went there on a Thursday & enjoyed a few drinks & some football, then went back on Sunday & was yelled at by someone who said she was the manager when I came in for some food, drink, & to play some pool. I had on a book bag & carried a duffel bag with me & was told to put it outside which I did. When I came back in I got yelled at saying "I already told you I'm not serving you" in front of a bar filled with people. By far the worse experience I've ever had in any restaurant or bar in my life! I was even threatened to have the cops called on me. I had a slight image of that of a homeless man but I was not. I was a paying customer & was humiliated & yelled at like I was slim on the bottom of your shoe. I don't think anyone should be talked down to the way that I was, ever!!!!! read more

Pardon the half eaten burger, but I had to share right away. Tried Buck and Ear today and oh my! Started off with the bologna bites and then moved to the Barnyard Burger and tots. My wife had the Half Pound Cheeseburger and fries. Both the tots and fries were super crispy and had a really good flavor. The burgers were cooked to perfection. Not a lot of beer offerings on tap, but a fully stocked bar to serve almost your every need. The wait staff was great and while the place is small, I think it's neighborly. It's really good food for take out, but the atmosphere is just as inviting if you're looking for a hang out with friends for good food and a few drinks. read more

Nice little sports bar and grill. Came in on a Wednesday night for dinner. Service was courteous and fast. They have 14 beers on tap, 2 pool tables, electronic dartboards, and 5 TVs plus Keno. I had a Devils Backbone (Virginia) Irish Red, which was very tasty. Tried a local Dayton beer, Gamma Bomb. Very hoppy and good. I also ordered the porkchop off the menu. 2 pieces, plus 2 sides, for $10. Outstanding. I had a side salad that was very nicely done with cheese, croutons and tomatoes. Also had a cup of cottage cheese to balance the beer on my diet. The pork chop was expertly prepared. Nicely seasoned and grilled over an open flame. Great taste, a little tough. But then again, the whole meal was $10. Can't wait to come back and try the burger. read more

I really liked this place as a new location to try. Plans changed, and I came here because I couldn't go to the originally spot I wanted to. Ended up being a good choice! Bone-in and boneless wings were both really good and the sauces were delicious. Was their for a date and actually got to experience live music, which made it even better. Only things I would advise is to have enough umbrellas for every outdoor table, and try to make sure the servers can handle a busy crowd. Service was pretty slow. Out of various alcohols on a Friday night at dinner time. Asked the waitress for an appetizer recommendation and was told to get the homemade potato chips only to find out 15 minutes later they were out of that too. Settled for the pretzels and when they finally came out they were swimming in what tasted like imitation movie theater butter for popcorn. One waitress for the dining room and two standing up at the bar talking to friends, so refills were not going t happen. Food was nothing special and that's even if they had what was on the menu available. Subpar bar food at best. Got the bill after two hours of waiting for food and slow service. The bills were all mixed up so we had to wait to get those fixed. The place looked run down and a bit dirty. Ceramic floor tiling stacked up by the door but no signs of remodeling. read more

We thought we would try Buck and Ear tonight after reading a couple of positive reviews this past week. After our experience with both the food and the manager, we will never be back. My sister in law ordered chicken wings. The first 2 smaller ones she ate were fine. The third was raw. She actually had to get up and go to the restroom and got sick. We told the waitress (who was very nice, by the way) and she said she was would send the manager out. We waited over 10 mins before my husband finally went up to the bar where the manager was. The manager did not once apologize, and in fact asked my husband "what do you want me to do about it?" and asked "why did she eat them if they were raw?" Instead of apologizing, the manager and another female co-owner (they refused to tell us their names) proceeded to yell and scream. I'll be the first to admit my husband was yelling right back at them. But for people that own this restaurant to do that is outrageous. read more

Great alternative to a chain sports bar and grill! Chicken wrap delicious, they don't hold back on filling it with chicken either. No complaints on the pork tenderloin or cheese steak sandwich either. The loaded skins are really good! Not dried out; fresh and cheesy with real bacon not bacon bits. Not a huge fan of the onion rings but they were okay. Restaurant is clean and open, big patio to sit outside on a nice night. read more

The new owners of this bar are very rude. Lots of drugs going in and out of this bar. The bar tenders/servers are always drinking on the job. I don't see this place being open very long. read more

We stopped in for lunch and to watch the Ohio State game. We got the Steakhouse Burger and wings. Food was great. I wish they had draft beer but oh well. Not sure why they dont change the sign out front makes it a little difficult to find. read more

So. I just wanted to watch the Reds on "opening day". Thought about going to B-dubs. Should have. It's loud here, the potato skins are dry, the chicken chunks or whatever they call them are mediocre at best. I hate to say this, but I think I was ignored largely because I was one of the four or five females in the place and I had the nerve to show up without a hillbilly man. I watched the couple next to me be fawned over by a different waitress and the four drunk guys to my right have beer constantly. I watched people come and go with no masks, even though they're supposed to wear them. I clearly don't fit in here with the....well, we called them Townies in college. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but when it's obvious I'm being treated differently than the "locals", there are other places I can -- and will -- go. Perhaps it's different at lunch on a Wednesday, but I can't help when the first ballgame of the year was, nor can I help that I made a VERY poor decision. That being said, I have learned a valuable lesson. Supporting local businesses is a good idea, unless that business is like this one. read more
