Our server was wonderful! Fast, efficient and funny. Anticipated our every need, extra napkins, ketchup on table etc. my husband got the sirloin with broccoli and salad. Forgot to take a picture of the salad. I got the southwest burger with waffle fries. We got the blackberry cobbler to share for dessert. The location was walking distance from our hotel. Sports bar atmosphere not my favorite but a quick meal after a long road trip was just what we needed. Food was good. read more

I visited here yesterday 5/15 and had lunch with a friend. The pretzels and beer cheese are out of this world. However the chicken tenders were absolutely terrible! Both of us got them. First of all they were sopping in oil, so clearly the oil temperature was off. The chicken tenders were also really tough. I'll come here again for the pretzels, but I am not going to order entrees again. Service was fine, but I have to say that our server disappeared after we got our tenders and didn't come back until we got the bill. read more

A great place to eat. We stopped here after visiting the Air Force Museum and we were hungry. Food was all top notch and delicious. Service could've been better. Our waitress seemed spaced out or overwhelmed so she forgot some things and took her time with refills but she was nice . Would go again for sure. My colleague and I were staying at the Hampton Inn Xenia across the street and looking for a place to eat close by. The front desk recommended 2 place and Butterbees was the closest. We walked across the street and were immediately seated. They have plenty of parking, a nice dining and bar area with plenty of TV's. Since I missed "wing night" with my buddies, I decided to get their wings. They weren't able to provide me with different sauces even on the 10 wing order, so I went with the 5 wing snack order and had the spicy garlic. It wasn't the spicy garlic I'm used to since this almost looked like Buffalo sauce, but didn't have that vinegary taste. Served with REAL blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, its all I needed. We were seated quickly but that's where everything took a down turn. Our server, Charity, came and got our drink orders relatively quickly. She then rushed us to order, told me that I couldn't remove a patty from my burger (it comes with two patties as standard, she said it would be an additional $3 up charge to modify a different menu item to be the same, but with one patty instead of two). She also didn't ask me how I wanted my burger cooked, and tried to tell me that coleslaw would be an additional $2 upcharge (it's not, it's listed as a regular side with fries or chips). She also tried to get us to pay extra for fries for my boyfriend's side. When she brought my boyfriend a refill of his drink, she slammed it on the table, spilling half of it everywhere and didn't even apologize. My burger came out incredibly overdone, once again, no apology, just walked it back to the kitchen. I've worked retail my whole life, and would never treat a guest the way we were treated today. We were pleasantly surprised with our first Butterbee's experience. Much like a Chili's or Applebee's it still had a unique nitch. Quite a selection of food choices and options for any budget and any pallet. Their pretzel bites were fantastic and tasty. Between the 3 of us we ordered a full rack of ribs (split) and their bacon burger. The ribs weren't the meatiiest but they were still tasty and the two who shared were satisfied. They got the apples and the chips...the chips were 10 out of 10. The burger was great and the service was good. Our server took good care of us and made sure my diet coke was never empty for long. It is noisy and there are TVs surrounding the place so it is a great place to "watch the game". We will probably go back the next time we are looking for a night out. Well worth a try. We stopped around 2pm and were greeted and seated right away. We've ate numerous times at this Xenia Butterbees. We both said we've never had a bad meal or bad service. Today was no different! Lowell was our waiter. My husband discussed the beer list and Lowell brought him couple samples. He decided on the Small Town beer. I ordered the quesadilla and also the chips and salsa for my meal. (Both on appetizer menu) Delicious!! My husband had the Major League burger with huge waffle fries! Everything was prepared and delivered excellent! I love coming here. One of my Fav places. I have had a few different things from the menu. Today I had The teriyaki salmon served over rice. (Savory and sweet and the rice was seasoned just right) It's honestly the only salmon I have ever tried,so I don't have anything to compare it to but I love fish, well, most of it. (I usually ge the Grilled Tilapia, Recommend!) I'm not a fishy fish kinda girl. The salmon was meaty and had a very light fish flavor. Absolutely delicious! I only wish they would have grilled the pineapple, Ill request it next go around, ot would have beem a little better. I am really pleased with my Salmon experience It was either going to make me or break me on if that "nasty fish" was for me or not. It definitely made me curious to try other styles. I also had waffle fries with Queso (Must try!) Broccoli ( buttery/delicious/seasoned and cook perfectly) and coleslaw (Perfect blend of a saucy sweet vinegar. It would be cool if they offered a salad with the meal but I am full, happy and completely satisfied. If you haven't been here... you should go. There a a lot more options. ( Like the BBQ pork sliders for instance, also a must try! I always get extra coleslaw) And the service was on point (Thanks Sarah). Besides the grilled pineapple the onlynother thing I wish was different was some kind of music. Over the loudspeaker or a Jukebox...something to cover the sound of my loud chewing and people's conversations Those changes... I would've gave it 5 stars no problem. The food was ok, atmosphere was nice BUT they seriously mislead with their marketing. Tabletop marketing indicates tall draft monthly features at one price until you pay and then it's regular price. When we questioned it we were told ad was old and expired. We asked to speak with manager, Jennifer, who was absolutely adamant she wasn't giving us the marketed price and that it was intended for a beer different from what we purchased. For that, they get one star and we will absolutely not be returning which sad for them because we would have otherwise. Word for the wise, the manager truly has the ability to make the decision to give us the ad price if she truly wanted returning customers however, she chose otherwise and for that their business will lose our business in the end and likely others. Then he opened the door for a gentleman in a wheelchair whose family member was pushing it and graciously helped them out the door! What service and he was a very personable individual. Only complaint is that they shorted us one tender (2 orders of 4, but got 1 3 and one 4)...that said; feels like growing pains...give this place a shot, we will be back and hoping to upgrade this review to 5 star...and the chicken fingers were really tasty! They have lunch specials and that is what we ordered from. I ordered Buffalo wrap with waffle fries, wife ordered cheeseburger with waffle fries. Buffalo wrap was good, stuffed with chicken, not overly breaded. Cheeseburger was good as well, toasted bun. Food overall was good, nothing special. Better than fast food.
