Was looking for a place to grab a quick bite while out and about in LA and stumbled upon the Bucket. You order and the window and then grab a seat. I got the smash burger and fries and the burger was really good and definitely hit the spot! The fries came out piping hot and were well seasoned. Overall a really solid choice for a quick lunch!

Double smash cheeseburger

Solid no-frills spot for burgers, burritos, fries, and other feel-good food at a great price. The vibes are casual and the spot has a small covered patio area. We got the double smash cheeseburger, double pastrami cheeseburger, and onion rings for $34. We got our food very quickly on a Sunday afternoon, and it was freshly cooked. We felt like everything lacked salt but it was still yummy. Overall, a solid spot that will satisfy a craving at a less expensive price!

Calling all burger lovers! Whether you're into an all beef patty or a tasty veggie burger or a juicy impossible burger; get ready to sink your teeth into a hardy helping of juiciest beef well done. The service is buns out. The prices are a royal flame. You'll be pickled with the ambience of a small sports bar. Accommodated with great ales. You'll flip over these patties!!!!!!

Ordered the Julio Burger. Sometimes I don't remember my own birthday, but I'll never forget that first bite! So delicious. It was my first time eating here and def won't be the last ;) Pretty cheap too. Parking available. Delicious onions rings. And I'm supporting a small business. Hell yeah

Onion Rings $4.95

A few months ago, I saw pics online of The Bucket's drool worthy onion rings and stopped in to try them. Sadly, that day they were out so I went home disappointed. The other day I was driving by with my nephew, and he wanted a cheeseburger so I decided to give it another shot. The Bucket is a little no-frills hamburger stand that has been a staple on the Eagle Rock community since 1935. It closed briefly from 2013 - 2018 due to a lease dispute and is now under new ownership. In addition to classic burgers, menu items include burritos, tacos, wings, & loaded fries. (Impossible burger, burrito, & taco also available.) My nephew ordered the Bucket Burger (cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, & thousand island dressing) and fries. Thankfully, they had onion rings this time, so I got an order. There is an enclosed patio area with seating and a tv. Each table has a little bucket on it with packets of ketchup. We grabbed a spot and waited for our food, which didn't take long. My nephew inhaled his burger. He loved it. The seasoned fries were exceptionally good. Thick & hot. Crispy outside and fluffy inside. I liked the seasoning in which they were tossed. The onion rings did not disappoint and tasted as good as they looked. Thick slices coated in seasoned breading and perfectly fried. They weren't greasy, which was a bonus. I also liked the dipping sauce that accompanied the rings. It was a spicy ranch. My nephew said he'd comeback. I would too. *Beer available *Small parking lot or street parking

Hi I used to come there in the 90s, 2000s do you guys still use the original Julio sauce ?do you still make the Julio fries ?I remember they were cut in circles !

Hi, no unfortunately we do not have the Julio sauce or fries. Although we do have some amazing fries and burgers and torta. We have make your own fries with your choice of toppings and sauces.

What oil do you use to fry your fries? Just hoping to confirm it isn't peanut oil.

Hi, good question, we Fryer oil which is Soy Bean based oil and not Peanut oil.

Is the impossible burger they have completely vegan like the cheese and 1000 island?

no, it's a vegetarian burger, not vegan also looks as though everything's prepared on the same grill so if you're particular about that sort of thing I wouldn't recommend.

Is there a veggie option for the burgers?

Hey.. Is this for real? The bucket reopened? I use to go here alot. But the menu looks weird wheres the cardiac or mini cardiac?

Which Bucket? the Original Julio's Bucket didn't have a cardiac or mini cardiac Burger, perhaps it was one of several owners attempts after Julio closed the doors. These guys are same ownership as Great White Hut in Glandale.

The salmon was served with a crispy skin. The celery and peanut salad complemented the salmon well. 4. The pork belly was full of flavor. It was served with glass noodles. 5. The HIGHLIGHT of dinner was the pork shank. It was served with a strawberry salad, cucumbers, hoisin mayo sauce, hot mustard sauce, naan, and lettuce. The meat fell of the bone. This is a MUST try. For dessert we ordered the blackberries & butter cake. It was served with a frozen blackberry basil jam which had the consistency of a sorbet and basil whipped cream. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. After our visit, I can see why. We arrived a little later than planned thanks to LA traffic but were still able to get a table. The atmosphere immediately stood out. The space is beautiful, creative, and artsy without feeling pretentious. Since we visited for lunch, we also enjoyed wandering around the surrounding area and exploring the area. Because we were meeting family later and didn't want to spoil dinner, we decided to keep lunch on the lighter side. We started with cocktails and a few dishes to share. My daughter ordered the trout tartare, which she has enjoyed many times before. While it isn't something I would normally order, I can understand why she keeps coming back to it. I chose the Louisiana shrimp with agua chile which was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the biscuits, and honestly, they may have been my favorite part of the meal. Warm, flaky, and served with a creamy butter that somehow tasted even better than butter should. We skipped entrées but couldn't resist dessert. The stout chocolate cake was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to lunch. By "sharing," I mostly mean I was fortunate enough to get a few bites before my daughter claimed the rest. The service was warm and attentive throughout. With restaurant prices these days, it's refreshing to leave feeling that the quality of the food, service, and overall experience justified the cost. We both agreed it was a wonderful lunch, and a day later I'm still thinking about those biscuits. We'll definitely be back, and next time I'd love to experience a full dinner.
