The service itself was extremely disappointing. The technician, David, set up a rat glue trap and two metal traps but brought no bait at all, even though fresh fruit is necessary for trapping iguanas. My husband had to provide mangoes and bananas himself. Each day, David would stop by, spend less than a minute looking at the traps, leave without refreshing the bait, and call it a visit. When asked about a "plan B" since nothing was being caught, his response was essentially that there was none. We tried calling the company several times with no response. Eventually, we spoke with Erwin and then Jose, who both apologized and admitted the technician was unprofessional for not bringing bait. They promised a follow-up but never called back. Instead, at the end of the "7-day service," David simply returned to remove the traps--still empty--without offering any solution. To make matters worse, I checked on Amazon and found the exact same traps for under $100 total. So in effect, we just rented two empty traps for $800. No results, no effort, no communication, and no professionalism. I strongly advise against using this company. Save your money--there are far better and more honest options out there.

They offer the traditional tenting which requires you to prep your home and leave for a couple of days or a treatment called DLT (Drywood Liquid Treatment) which is considered safe and does not require any prep or evacuation. We chose DLT which they agreed since there was no evidence that termites had penetrated into our house. There was a slight odor which quickly disappeared. No mess, no clean up, it was great! Since we had termites in the fascia board, they told us to have those boards replaced and to let them know when they've been replaced because they would come out to re-treat those areas. They were true to their word and came back out weeks later to re-treat. They were very professional to deal with.

As I was standing in front of the toilet doing my business, a rat swam up out of the drain. I had heard of this kind of thing happening, but I thought it was an urban legend. Nope. It can really happen. After chasing him down the drain with the toilet bowl brush, and shoving the brush into the drain to keep him away, I went online to see what could be done. Naturally, I turned to Yelp for an exterminator. I learned a few things; first, the rat did not come from the sewer, it came from the roof and down the sewer vent. That is now covered. Second, the rats were attracted to my bird feeder, which is now gone (sadly). Edgar came out and reviewed the entire house with me, showing me where they were getting in and laying out a plan of action that would eradicate them. I am beyond happy with the work he did. It's only been a little over a week and I can already see a huge difference. I did find out that they had made it into the attic, but they are being exterminated as I type this. Edgar is amazing. He knows what he's doing, he is incredibly thorough and he does everything he can to ensure that he doesn't make a mess in the house. I was very impressed with him, and not surprised given that he has 62 reviews and 5 stars. When I checked his website I found that I was technically out of his range, but he agreed to come anyway. This man is the real deal. His work is excellent, his prices are fair, he knows what he's doing and he will help you if you have a rat problem. I cannot stress enough how awesome he is. We asked if the animal sought our attic to have babies and he said no that raccoons have offspring in Spring, he does not know what he's doing or talking about, she did have babies and now he will not help us get them out. We have called another, more knowledgeable company and we're told this was not the correct way to safely remove this family from our attic.
