In fact, it has Michelin Key (like Michelin Star for hotels). I'll write this review from the standpoint of dining guest and not hotel guest. AMBIANCE: The hotel combines exterior history and interior modern feel. The decor is like flipping the pages of an interior decor magazine - accent floral wallpaper and comfy velvet furniture. I was visiting the hotel for an event (Sounds of the Land) so my only visit was to the lobby and downstairs restaurant (Club Room). The lobby was extremely comfy and modern. I can absolutely see relaxing here or catching up on work. Although the lobby is very constrained in terms of space and gets loud. CLUB ROOM: I visited the Club Room, a restaurant by the lobby. I really enjoyed the drinks - bold, well crafted, and generously boozy. The food was less exciting, too salty and subpar. The Club Room hosts plenty of events - holiday dinners, opening sports days, and music. The space quickly gets packed. PARKING: Valet is available onsite. Plenty of parking garages are accessible in the area. I recommend dropping in for an event at the hotel and drinks. You can register on Eventbrite for select events. I highly recommend making a reservation at Club Room since the business gets very busy.

Plus, they are a pet friendly hotel and don't charge anything extra to bring your furry friend! We booked a standard king room. We had an easy check-in experience where we signed a short waiver related to having our dog on site, and then headed up to our room on the fourth floor, which was beautifully furnished. The room is color drenched in a dark burgundy and features artful touches throughout, including an antique-looking vanity mirror and a mahogany hutch that contains robes, a safe, a refrigerator, and a mini-bar / coffee service. There were a few things I would tweak to make it a 5-star hotel in by book: first is eliminating the blinking green light on the fire alarm, which was bright enough and frequent enough to disrupt our sleep. Second is having a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Third would be offering ear plugs. We were not significantly disturbed by being downtown, but it is situated in a busy area of the city and this would be a nice touch for guests who are more sound sensitive. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. The on-site bar & restaurant is fantastic and the proximity to explore the rest of downtown is unmatched.

Good bed. However, we were unlucky to face a street with early morning trash trucks and (even worse) road work starting at 6 am! On the day of checking out, we just needed a little bit more time. We asked for a 12 pm check out but they simply would not accommodate any request. it's not busy at all. Oh well.

The room has great views and lots of windows that let in plenty of natural light that make lounging inside enjoyable. We ordered room service and had a fun time drinking and eating surrounded by the beautiful artwork of Mr. Van Gogh. The soaking tub was nice and the bed is very comfortable but, like most of the other reviews say, the cars revving up and down the main drag all night are very noisy. The hotel leaves ear plugs on the bed but since we were in town for leisure, we didn't really use them.

The decor in the lobby was nice, and there were games to play. The hotel is in a decent location. I was able to walk to restaurants and a grocery store.

Nice new building at a large mall complex right off Crocker…read more This place is near the lake and situated at the edge of an outdoor mall full of restaurants and shops and even a grocery store nearby. Services like nails etc was also available. This hotel was new, clean and tidy and the desk staff was always available, attentive and helpful! There are some snacks and things for sale, like bottles of water for sale at the front desk.

It's new, and it's the only B&B in Berea, with the quaint downtown square right around the corner. The owners are quick to respond to any problems, the location is fantastic, the beds are good. Even the *towels* here are top-notch. When I checked to make sure I didn't have down pillows, I found brand new allergy shield pillow covers on high-quality synthetic pillows. When you stay in a B&B in an old Victorian or heritage home, usually that means dealing with a tiny bathroom, undersized shower, and so on; the beautiful old home that houses Riverside Gables was completely renovated in fall 2012, with nice big showers, new fixtures, and new floors. Guests even have a sitting room, with a kitchenette and fridge, Keurig coffee machine, spare dishes, and (my favorite) electric kettle and teapots for tea. Glass bottles of water are kept chilled for the use of the guests, and it was great to have that bottle of water to take to my room (and also not feel like I was wasting a plastic bottle just to have something cold to drink.) There's also a separate back door for guests. Breakfast has been excellent: fruit salad to start, juice, a beautiful omelette the first time I stayed and a Belgian waffle this morning. The owners have a beautiful Golden Retriever, but he is not allowed in the B&B portion of the house. Catherine is lovely to talk to, knowledgeable about the area, and responsive to the needs and preferences of her guests. If business brings me back to the area, I will *definitely* put this place at the top of my list.

I…read moremean, Cleveland isn't America's vacation destination, yet they have a Ritz-Carlton while Puerto Rico doesn't. Next, we arrived at the Tower City Center. I had no idea where it was located, and neither did the shop workers. Also, most of Tower City Center was either closed or vacant. I finally called using CapCall, but the connection kept dropping; after walking around, I found it was on the 3rd floor. It's secure, with room card access to the entrance and elevators, which is pretty standard for Ritz-Carlton and St Regis, and given Cleveland's huge homeless population in the downtown area, this is a necessity. Regarding the staff, they were very friendly and helpful.

As with prior visits, it did not work, and I ultimately had to check in at the front desk. Staff attributed this to an "app glitch," which is the same explanation I have received multiple times. At this point, it appears to be a recurring issue rather than an isolated one. Check-in itself was slow, with multiple guests waiting, and the staff was not particularly welcoming or attentive. The layout does not help the situation. The fireplace is positioned near the check-in line, which may have been intended to enhance the atmosphere, but in practice it makes an already crowded and uncomfortable waiting area worse. After checking in, I asked for contact information for the front desk manager. No business cards were available, and staff could not provide direct contact details. One employee later identified themselves as a front desk manager and offered assistance, but given the experience up to that point, it did little to instill confidence. The room was acceptable but unremarkable. It was slightly better than what you might find at a lower-tier brand like a Fairfield Inn, but it did not reflect a luxury standard. The mattress had a noticeable dip in the middle, suggesting it is due for replacement. There are a couple of positives. The location is excellent, right in the center of downtown Cleveland with direct access to the Terminal Tower complex. In addition, the fitness center is genuinely top-notch and one of the stronger features of the property. That said, I have stayed at other Ritz-Carlton properties, and this one does not compare favorably. The pricing and brand set a high expectation, and this property does not consistently deliver an experience that justifies either.
