Love the political banter with 'bartender/anarchist/hot-babe' Kristina! Always leave with a smile. Great bar with great prices. Good people

Stumbled upon this establishment while walking out of St. Andrews Pub. We talked to a few people…read morewalking out and they raved about the food and drinks. We hadn't eaten so we decided to try it. All I can say is "WOW"! Give me a board with fresh cheese, meats and sides and I am in heaven. Their boards do not disappoint. We also ordered the whipped cheese spread with baguettes. It was so delicious we asked the chef to come out so we could compliment her. The mixed drinks are delicious. Try the Old & New which is a copy of an Old Fashion. They have many wines and beers also. Our Burgunbarrel experience was so good we went back the next day to have another appetizer (deviled eggs), the Mama Mia board, and split a sandwich. Again, delicious, great service, and as great as the day before. Burgunbarrel is now in our top five for Panama City! Excellent addition to the beautiful St. Andrews.

We ordered a couple of boards and a few bottles of wine. The boards were good, but not quite filling enough for a full dinner for our group. The bartender was also serving tables, so service was a bit limited and we often had to get up and go to the bar since check-ins at the table were infrequent. Our table was also on the smaller side, which made it a little crowded once the wine and boards arrived. That said, we would absolutely go back -- especially as a date night spot for just the two of us to enjoy a glass of wine and a board as an appetizer while listening to live music.

This was the worst dining experience I've had in a while. I really wanted to like The Alibi, but it…read morewas just so bad, all the way around. In short: poor service, bad/cold food. Now allow me to elaborate. Our server could not have been less helpful with the menu. I asked about one of the wing sauces, and he said, "It's great. You'll love it." I appreciate the confidence, but I was hoping for a more insightful description. I asked a follow up, thinking maybe he just needed some direction. "Is it sweet? Spicy?" Again, he just said, "You'll love it." Maybe he'd never had it? Maybe it was his first shift? Not sure, but it was the weirdest exchange. Anyway, my boyfriend ordered wings. I ordered the mahi tacos. As soon as my tacos hit the table, I knew it was... not great. They were the most pathetic-looking tacos. Plenty of tortilla, not much else. I would've been embarrassed to let them leave my kitchen. At least bulk them up a little bit with an average serving of the tropical slaw? Btw, no idea what made it tropical. Just tasted like slaw. It only got worse when I took my first bite. Completely cold. The wings? Also cold. The tacos came with a side of chips and salsa too. The salsa tasted like it was straight out of a cheap can. It was gross. Our server never came to check on us, so we just ate our cold food, eventually flagged him for the check, paid and left. Additional context that feels relevant: there were only 2 other tables taken when we arrived, and I believe there were 3 people seated at the bar. It wasn't busy at all, so this was not an instance of falling short while trying to meet the demand of a lunch or dinner rush. That would've been more understandable. How do you serve cold food then go MIA as a server when there's barely anyone there? How do you manage tables when you're actually busy? There are so many amazing places to eat on the beach, including spots with great tacos and wings. Spend your money elsewhere. I truly could not recommend this place to anyone after my experience.
