The hazmat team was called in. The doctors had to put me into a medically induced coma for two weeks just to isolate whatever dark magic was happening inside my digestive system. When I finally woke up, the medical debt was so massive that the hospital legally claimed ownership of my future children. The trauma was so profound that I developed a severe, involuntary panic attack every time I saw the color white or red. My employer fired me after I fainted during a slide presentation that featured a picture of a street cart. Unable to pay rent, my landlord evicted me and changed the locks while I was still in the ambulance for a follow-up ER visit.
