The burritos were good and the prices were good. The red sauce was good but hot. My brisket taco was good but not much cheese. My husband's race was better. It was potato, bacon, egg, and cheese. They were both large. Not skimpy tacos. read more

Wow...so yummy! We have driven past The Burrito Lady for years driving from Lubbock to South Texas and never stopped. Today we ordered 4 different burritos and they were the best we have ever eaten! The Cindy was a meat-lovers delight, a fluffy flour tortilla filled with tender brisket and fajita meat, beans and cheese. My husband had a carnitas burrito with rice, black beans, pico, guacamole, crema & corn relish. The salsa was just the right amount of spice. On a road trip so Rolled up at 6:40 am on Jan 2, and already 3 cars waiting. The couple in the taco truck served all of us in about 15 minutes. We were thankful for that. On to the food, hubby ordered papa rancheros with chorizo- super yummy with great flavor. I had the brisket quesadilla, very good brisket, it was huge with so much brisket. Kids had bean and cheese . This is a hidden gem! The tortillas are fluffy and warm. The chorizo is delicious and not greasy at all. I ordered Wayne's Special and OH MY GOODNESS it was delicious! Stopped by on our way through Eden. It was not a quick stop. Took over thirty minutes to get three tacos. We ordered a Top hand, Superman and an egg, potato, and cheese. After twenty minutes, they said they are working on our order. But then, over five minutes later, the lady let us know that they ran out of potatoes. It was a very busy day. We substituted beans. The top hand was more like stew than smoked brisket, it was very bland, and I am sensitive to salt - usually dishes are too salty for me, and this had no detectable seasoning. The Superman was mostly bean and cheese. It was supposed to have German sausage and potato. I think there were two tiny pieces of sausage in it. Strangely, this one was too salty. We never got around to eating the egg, bean, and cheese, so I can't review that one. The lady was very polite, and the food was hot and made fresh, so I will go back and give them another shot. Hopefully, on a day they are "firing on all cylinders", I can update this to a five star review. read more

If she is open, don't fail to stop at this food truck. My husband got a chicharones, egg & cheese. He is super particular about that particular taco & he was in raptures (my words, not his). The salsa was perfect in both the degree and quality of spiciness. The lady was super nice & didn't get fussed about an egg-free order for my allergic son. Best food in town. If you ever drive thru Eden or are staying you MUST check out this hidden gem. The food is fantastic and the service is fantastic. I brought my 19th month old with me and she started to pout. The owner was very kind to allow her to play with some bubbles she had. Calmed her right down. But back to the food. The eggs are super fluffy and delicious and the bacon is to die for. I ended up getting an egg bacon and cheese burrito and then an egg bacon cheese quesadilla. The food is stuffed with what you ordered so it really fills you up. Great price as well! read more

Great roadside food truck in Eden, TX with good service, made-to-order burritos and tacos - breakfast and lunch only. They also make tacos w/ german sausage, brisket, guiso, and also a great burger. Spontaneous stop for us, just driving through town. Excellent breakfast burritos, bacon, egg and cheese and sausage, egg and cheese. Owner is super nice! If you are breezing through town from 6am-1pm stop at her food truck parked at the historical Texaco station in town. She and her husband are fixing up th he station for some indoor seating.
