A group of us from work ordered from the cabin last week. The food sucked, so we said never again

The food quality is nowhere near what it used to be. The prices for the quantity are too high. The service is hit or miss. The fast pace of the restaurant has a habit and feeling of too busy to be pleasant and friendly. I realize the cash only still exist, but to have an atm you must pay fees on and no cc option is just a pain. read more

Amazing Pizza! If you like feta etc, definitely try the Greek Pizza. I also usually order a side salad and the bleu cheese dressing is amazing! One of the best places to eat in the area! read more

I grew up on Cabin pizza and cheese steaks. They make the best pizza I have ever had. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I have yet to find any other pizza I like as well. We moved 3 hours away for a few years and when we moved back to the area we went and had a Cabin pizza to make sure we were right about what we remembered. We were! It's still the best. read more

Nope, the simple cheese pizza had zero flavor. The salads were ok, crisp and fresh. Dressings no flavor either.

Outstanding. My favorite pizza place. The staff is friendly, the service is fast and the food is fantastic. Just bring cash or be prepared to pay a fee to use their ATM. read more

On a very slow business wise Monday night we ordered two large pizzas....basic stuff....pepperoni with light cheese and a white pizza with bacon and also an order of fried pickles....the pickles didnt take long to come out and the white pizza was ten minutes behind.....the pepperoni did not come out until we were ready to leave....the response from our server was not gee we are sorry but " Oh well...you came on the the night we are training our new pizza cook".....too bad...I always used to enjoy eating here but the lackadaisical attitude towards customer service makes me think that some one reads their own press clippings a little too much.....and oh yeah...the light cheese was more like extra cheese...needless to say that there are other establishments around the area that will receive my dining dollars instead read more

Really enjoy The Cabin on those days/nights when we want a quick but yummy bite out. The pizza is good - with the shrimp pizza being my absolute favorite - and salads and subs pretty on point. Prices are decent and even on a busy night, there's plenty of seating. I did try the pasta (chicken alfredo) on one visit and while good, it was kind of bland. Stick with the pizzas! Still though, good stuff, friendly staff! It is a cash only business. Will be back! read more

Pizza is very good and the people who work there are really nice. The sanwiches are "ok," generally, but ***don't get anything with chicken, because it's shredded (like shredded BBQ). For real. This place did not disappoint! We are visiting from CT and wanted a family friendly place with great food that wasn't super expensive. We found it at the Cabin. The drinks were reasonable and great quality, the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks were made from scratch and the pesto shrimp pizza -yum! It is self serve but who cares! Very charming read more

I met some friends at the Cabin for my first visit there - I liked the campy atmosphere and the food looked good but I was turned off the moment I walked in the door - they don't accept credit or debit cards! Come on - this is the 21st century! Having to use their ATM machine really pissed me off - then to top it off they serve their fine local craft beer in little kiddie root beer mugs - so you're constantly walking out into their entry way to order/pickup your brew...I'll never go there again... read more

Unfortunately, this place has declined over the years. Cheap is, what you therefore get, in quality. There are many more establishments that provide much better at a good price. Clean your bathrooms- that makes a difference too. read more

Great pizza. The pesto pizza is awesome. Comfortable family atmosphere. We will definitely return anytime we are in Bath.

A dark interior...dark wood and lighting. Kinda dingy but the pizza is the best around. Nice, thin crust pizza. Try the pesto, Kalamata olive and artichoke pizza, the ham and pineapple, or just a plain mushroom and cheese. Good pizza. Roast beef sub with onions and cheese is a winner. Off street parking...bring cash or there is an ATM inside. No credit cards. A local Bath favorite. read more

Well...went back eagerly to The Cabin....anxiously anticipating a repeat of the amazing goodness of our last visit. What can I say...cheese was not as incredible.....and the sauce....pretty darn bland this time around for some reason. Had to load it up with crushed pepper flakes and parm. cheese this time, which we NEVER would have done to the masterpiece that was the pie we experienced only a few weeks ago. It was fine....but that's all...not sure what happened. In any event, LOVE this old joint and will give it another chance....even if pizza doesn't improve, still a magnificent place for a pitcher of beer within the dark, cozy wonderful confines of this local treasure. A sign said they are closing for two days for some remodeling....God, I hope they don't ruin this perfect ambiance! read more

Walk up to the counter and order your knots and pizza from a very friendly staff and then find a seat. The food will be brought out very quickly as it gets done. Everything we ordered was great. They take cash and have a atm in the lobby. read more

We stopped here on a Saturday at 6pm on our way to Booth Bay Harbor. It was a great idea. This place is really close to Rt. 1 and the pizza is great. We got pepperoni and white clam pies. The garlic knots and Greek salad were also pretty good. Service was fast. Plenty of tables at that time. No credit cards and you order at the counter. The place didn't seem as dirty as I expected after reading the other reviews. read more

this is a Bath institution and has been a tradition on our yearly summer trips to maine. this is seriously great pizza. great atmosphere too and feels very rustic. the service is not quick by any means but you get what you wait for. only a 20-30 minute drive from our place. read more

I live in Bath- tried these guys too many times and I'm done- Great pizza, but terrible customer service. If they tell you 35-40 min. For pick up or delivery, it will be more like 1:20..They need competition - it's worth the drive Flipside in Brunswick if you just want good pizza . read more

I can only describe this place as interesting. If this is the best pizza in mid-coast then I feel sorry for everyone living here. Not terrible but the best comparison I could give is the pizza is a step up from Domino's or Papa John's. Ordered a submarine sandwich and the quality of the meat was low. However, I would recommend the dough knots as that and the Pemaquid Ale were the highlights. Thought service was OK but I think there may have only been 3 or 4 other tables so a quiet night. read more

We were here several years ago when we lived in Maine. The pizza was good then and it's still good. We had a large pepperoni, mushroom and extra cheese. It was very good and very well priced. The beer was still a good deal. It's a totally self serve system. The restaurant is dark and cozy, just like back in the day. We'll be back. read more

Great food! The atmosphere is cross between a log cabin and an old pub. Unique indeed. I recommend the chili pizza- its divine.

I was hooked by the kitchen aroma when I opened the front door. Just went for the second night in a row. Can't make it three because we head back to Southern California tomorrow. Highly recommend The Cabin Restaurant. Excellent, as advertised (a local also recommended it). Order at the counter, then they bring your food to you. I'm Italian (Sicilian) and this is worth a stop. Near the shipyards, so not in the glamorous and boutique part of Bath, but once inside it doesn't matter. Only problem was they don't sell their tee shirts, which I wanted to proudly wear back home! read more

The Cabin is a good basic place that offers pizza. The atmosphere is warm, woody and feels like a cabin as the name implies. The pizza is OK, but if you've traveled, you'll recognize it isn't the best by far. It does satisfy the need locally. We're headed there again tonight. The white pizza with ground beef, grilled onions, and black olives was delicious. The crust was very good. Only problem is when the pizza is kept in the oven too long and the crust is slightly burned on the bottom. read more
