After getting several quotes for a full kitchen remodel I went with this company and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. My only regret is I didn't have them build and install the cabinets. For a fully remodel kitchen and bathroom with hardwood cabinets, soft close draws, and Cambria quartz counter top I was quoted 19.5K from design to full install. Billy was the main representative I dealt with; he never tried to up-sale me, actually quite the opposite, was extremely knowledgeable, and truly made the whole experience smooth. Any concerns I had he quickly addressed or provided reassurance. If Billy was off Gary quickly filled in to help with what he could and was equally amazing. Ken, who works mainly in the back, builds the cabinets and also helped install my backsplash for an amazing price and workmanship. Unprofessional. A guy in a goldish pickup truck with one of their trailers with their name in it THREW A RED DRINK OUT HIS WINDOW AT MY WHITE CAR today when I was driving home from work. Screamed out the window I ran him off the road! Which i did not! Not sure if the guy had anger issues or what but he need reprimanded or fired and I wouldn't trust these people to build a dog house after this. As others have said, Chuck had the best prices on quality solid-wood soft-close cabinets around the entire Pensacola area. He was also personable and had great suggestions for us. We also loved his backsplash selection and ended up selecting a hand made tile that wasn't too expensive but was the prettiest misty sea green. It became our inspiration color for the whole project. We were Sally Remodelers with no experience, and his taste was excellent. He has great floors, too. We chose Floors 2000 and were pleased with the quality for the pricepoint. We were able to find quartz Grade 0 or 1 (can't recall) countertops for a reasonable price and are excited to have them because we are tired of the same granite patterns! Chuck connected us with a carpenter extraordinaire, Ken, who was able to do some demo, some painting, sheetrock, and the backsplash installation. Chuck also provided reliable, high quality installers for all three areas: cabinets, counters, and floors. All personnel were communicative, on-time, and professional. The cabinet installer, Joe, suggested we "float" the bar (see photo), and we love it this way! Chuck was communicative throughout the whole process. From start to finish, we remodeled 75% of a 1,000 sq foot condo. Because his prices were so reasonable, we tacked on some bathroom vanities and additional flooring. The place looks brand new! It took about 2 weeks for everything to come in, and the job started and finished on time in 4 weeks. We had a one-month rental nearby and had a hard deadline to be out! We made it, and all these folks cared about us and our situation along the way. Yes, I was present on the jobsite every day, but I trusted these guys, left them my keys, worked through some difficulties that predictably arose, and made some friends and contacts that I will most certainly keep and use again. Good luck with your company! I don't care how long you have veen in business your customer service is the worst. Your guy came put looked at the cabinets and ordered them. Your company was the one that messed up and tried to blame us. Your the one that told US what cabinets they were. Got another company to do the island drawers they had them ordered and installed in 2 weeks no hassle. Hum! Just by your response alone shows how you treat customers. As for changing he gave us time frames that he did not stick to and we had to be out of town. We called when we were back to see if he could get the job done in the time frame HE told us. read more

If there was a zero star, I would have given this business a zero. The only thing that I am happy about is the design of the kitchen and master bath. I had to be on this company every step of the way. Tile was laid in the wrong direction, quarter round was used when it was expressed strongly that I did not want it. There was a period of about six weeks where no work occurred. Any time there was an issue they recommended my own general contractor to me- they didn't want to do the tear out of the kitchen, could not figure out how to lay the kitchen, laundry room and media room tile without having a large transition- yet my contractor was able to do it beautifully without a single piece of quarter round. The cabinets installed in the bathroom went without trim until I finally had enough and got the owner involved after my son took pictures that I included in a lengthy email. The worker told the owner that trim had been installed when pictures proved it had not been done as of 11:00pm the night before the owner was told it was done. I have cabinets that are supposed to be soft close that do not work, drawers that cannot have both open at the same time because they hit each other, scratches covered by a paint marker, a cabinet that is not square, missing trim, the wrong color of trim on the bench in the master bath. I was told this trim would be reordered in the appropriate color and installed- weeks later and I haven't heard a word. I wound up having to pay my contractor to watch their contractor to ensure work was completed. I had to restrict access to the house because their worker left every door unlocked, multiple windows open and a large dog door open after working one day. The ONLY reason they installed my kitchen cabinets after all of this is that they would not refund my money. I wound up not being able to use the original tile I had chosen because they did not have an installer look at the job- the sales woman is NOT an expert on what type of tile can be laid where. They did refund me the money for the tile I could not use. The tile they did lay is perpendicular to my wood floor, was not cut properly so has areas filled with grout or caulk, was not laid to the baseboards so had to be caulked. That caulk is already failing and needs to be replaced. I plan to have the tile ripped out and installed properly by my general contractor. I told the owner I would never give them any sort of recommendation- and I intend to keep my word on that. read more

When shopping for reno experts and materials in Pensacola, I was fortunate to start my search with The Cabinet Barn and did not have to look any further. Owner Chuck was helpful and above all, honest. I found everything our project needed in his showroom and all reasonably on budget. Like any renovation, there were hiccups along the way--and I had more than just hiccups. But Chuck was responsive, stayed on top of it all and always did right by me. His integrity was commendable. The low 2-1/2 star rating is undeserved. They sell RTA cabinets in flat packs that may be installed by the buyer or by their installer. They also sell granite countertops at a great value as well. For my last remodel project, they installed the countertop only. The craftmanship and materials were of the highest quality. I am not one to normally share reviews but we have worked with cabinet barn for the last few months and there are some things I feel could be improved. We had cabinet and countertops installed and the whole process took 3 months. For cabinets- overall they have the best price on cabinets we could find, cheaper than Lowes and they are good quality. The cabinet installer Colin is amazing and was super helpful. However, a couple mistakes were made in the design when working with Kim. She offered to replace one of the cabinets in order to make it work which we appreciated. Until the final bill where she charged us for it without ever telling us that we would be responsible for it. For countertops- we have some issues with installation which was not the cabinet barns fault but led in us having to rip out the countertops already installed and put a different kind in. The biggest issue was that they never came out to measure out countertops even after asking if they were going to several times. We ended up having to pay for an extra slab more than what we were expecting and added another almost $500 to the total. I wish I had a more positive experience with them because their prices are the best but our interactions with Kim did not leave a good impression. read more
