I had a brief work meeting here a few months ago and I was delighted by what a nice little coffee shop it is. There was plenty of space and lots of tables to choose from for our meeting. My coffee was great, bagel pretty good, and the service was friendly. Very nice atmosphere. And they have a free water station, which is always appreciated. read more

If you need a quiet place to sit and work, choose the Caffeinery. Their menu has an array of options, even for one who is opposed to coffee. I love stopping by to get an Iced Chai Latte during first Thursdays or sitting to sip on a hot chocolate (with delicious whipped cream) while I work on homework or read a book. The volume never gets too loud, so the Caffeinery is a good place to be productive but also a great place to sit and catch up with friends. I've been stopping by for four years now, and I've yet to encounter an issue. read more

This is a great place in Muncie. It is very clean and a "hip" place to come work, eat, and get a great pour over. It's nice to see a place here that is really up to date with the times. I wish I had more time after my trip to stay here and work a little bit! Highly recommended!! read more

I love this place! The atmosphere is great, and the service is lovely. I go here to work on homework, read, or meet up with friends. The coffee is good, but it could be a tad better. I feel like overall, the stuff on their menu all tastes close to the same with just a tad of flavoring in each thing. Their mocha, though, is my ultimate favorite. They have free water glasses which, for me, is much needed when drinking coffee so that's really nice, as well as a lot of places to sit unlike most coffee shops. I hope they add more seating outside next summer! read more

Overrated and overpriced. I really cannot stand their house blend. It almost tastes kind of sour to me? I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy. For their prices I would much rather just swing by a Starbucks. I appreciate the shop local feel they give, but I just can't support the taste of their coffee. read more

The Caffeinery is so quaint and high-quality. I absolutely love it! My favorite thing is the Butterfinger Latte (iced) which has the perfect mix of coffee, chocolate flavor, and peanut butter flavor. I think they give a good amount of coffee for the price. The employees are also very friendly and helpful. The only thing I don't like is that I feel it closes kind of early (6 on weekdays, 2 PM on Saturdays). I work out of town and the hours aren't convenient for me to come in and spend time after work. read more

Great atmosphere for getting together with a friend or getting away to study or get some work done on your laptop. Everything you could want in a coffee shop and more! My wife and I were in Muncie for Thanksgiving, so we finally had a chance to visit the Caffeinery. Our first experience was a great one. The house brew I ordered was delicious and unique and the s'more latte my wife got was tasty as well. I love the open atmosphere and cheerful, yet relaxed atmosphere. Full disclosure, I have known the owner for a long time, but my review would've been the same regardless. We will definitely be making this a regular stop when we are in town! You can get some incredible pastries and baked goods (including vegan options) with a healthy dose of high-end coffee drinks. They do have pour-over options, too. The most Instagram-worthy coffee shop I ever did see. The details in here are everything. My favorite is the flowers they keep on each table. It's so relaxing to be in this high-ceiling oasis. You get a giant cup no matter what you order -- you'll have to use two hands. I love the food options too, there's literally something for everyone, vegan, gluten free, whatever (I'm none of these things but it's still so! good!). I've come here to study a couple times, and it's the best place to force yourself to read philosophy and write term papers. read more

I haven't been in awhile, but this is the coffee shop the locals frequent. And for good reason, too. The Caffeinery offers all the standard coffee beverages and teas, so they have you covered there. I really enjoy their toasted bagels and cream cheese spreads. I highly recommend the veggie spread on wheat. Or cinnamon spread on the French toast bagel. If you're feeling a sugary, carbonated beverage, I recommend any of the creamosas. They're just cream over fruit-flavored sugar syrup in soda water. My favorite is blackberry. And if you're still not satisfied, they have salads, fruit Buddha bowls, juices, and various desserts. All fantastic. Prices are on par with any coffee shop, so a little pricey. Not bad. To each their own? The Caffeinery is a 5-7 bike ride from BSU down Neeley Ave. It's just a nice place to work, chat, and relax. read more

I love the feel of the place. It has a wide open space with ample seating and lots of tall windows all around. I enjoy going there to read and drink tea. I must admit that my preference is for their tea more so than coffee, even though I'm a coffee lover, as I find the coffee to be on the light roast side. I roast my own coffee and I like it medium to darker, but that's just personal preference. They seem to like the light, tea-like roasts in their coffee. Aside from that, I like the place. The friendly staff, the ambiance, tea offerings, and the pastries are great, and the music playing is usually very enjoyable. Overall, it's a great place. I just wish they would consider doing some darker roasts along with their light ones. read more

I may be slightly biased to this place, but I love it. The owners, Frank snd Lauren are awesome. The rest of the staff is pretty laid back. As for the coffee, it's the best I've ever had.
