The food was unique and good. We ordered the sampler appetizer with eggrolls, boudin balls, and wontons. It was really good. My favorite was the wontons. Then we got fried rice etouffee, cheese fries and crawfish for the table. The étouffée was pretty good, but strangely I needed to salt it. The cheese fries were my least favorite. I really like the cheese topping with crawfish but the fries had too much spice on them. They were hot spicy but over spiced flavor-wise. And the crawfish was really good. But being a Louisiana gal that enjoys to suck the head, the butter in the sauce made it too rich to do that. But the tails were delicious. We also had some corn and potatoes that were buttery and yummy. For dessert we tried the fried dough. It was good, but I'm not a sweets eater, so it was too sweet for me. I wish I could give this a zero, honestly. I called in a to-go order for the mixed fried rice (according to their menu, it's supposed to have shrimp, pork, beef, and chicken). This is apparently a really popular item here. The rice is almost inedible. Some of it was undercooked and most was overcooked. There were ZERO shrimp. It was filled with pork. Past a lot of green fields.....I thought my GPS was wrong for a minute, As you pull in, the restaurant is in the middle of a gas station and casino common building......interesting. Very nice inside the restaurant.....TV's. Good Setting. We started with an appetizer of Crawfish Wontons, Jambalaya Egg rolls and a cool grilled cheese. The Crawfish Wontons were excellent with the sweet chili sauce on the side too. Jambalaya egg rolls were unique but good with the "casual" sauce on the side. Lastly as an appetizer we got this: "Fried Crawfish Grilled Cheese with Etouffee." This was great and the etouffee was what you dipped it in. We got 2 main entrees: the Fried Rice Etouffee which had crawfish in the fried rice and andouille sausage chunks covered with etouffee....aaahhhh. "J" got the Grilled Filet Mignon Chef's Special with Fried Rice and it was the owner's recommended favorite of his and it lived up to it! So, Friendly service and delicious food way down Youree! I had the Cajun fried rice, Cajun etouffee as well as the gumbo. Absolutely hated the gumbo. It has no spice and was the most flavorless gumbo I've ever had. However, the Cajun rice dishes were both very good. I agree with the previous reviews that the price should be adjusted. They're a bit expensive. I'm never going here again. Update: 3-21-19 I came in specifically for the boiled crawfish!! I have high expectations being from the Crawfish Capital of the World (Breaux Bridge, La)and let me tell y'all .... poooyie dats some of the best crawfish I have had period!!! They boil nightly after five so the are always hot and fresh. They also have a variation that's called "Viet Cajun" and man they are freaking awesome!!! Really enjoyed the andouille sausage. My husband said it needed more fish sauce but I told him I think its cause the blending iof cajun they didn't put alot. The beef in the bahn mi is soaked in pho broth which they add on the side and it is yummy!! I enjoyed it and it's so cute and easier to eat having it in two portions! The catfish its didn't have much seasoning that it tasted like to me (the batter) but if you add the hot sauce or dippin the provide it tastes good! I was so excited to eat the funnel cake and oreos. As first timers, we had to try to Cajun version of the Pho and the Lo Mein they did not disappoint. We love hot food and that's how we ordered it, the full spicy was not that hot so don't worry about going all in. The pho broth was delicious and the Lo Mein was also very flavorful. Not sure if they were all just having a bad day or if they were tired but no smiles upon walking in and we sat through an awkward lunch setting. May I suggest playing some music a little louder so that we don't have to listen to the gossiping while still being able to hear one another? It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating and beautiful decorations though! Oh... our table was sticky when we sat down - yikes. Plenty of parking. There's MANY items on the menu. Too bad it's not crawfish season at this time. They don't serve any alcohol due to being too close to a church....... Ordered the loaded Pho and the cajun lo mein from the lunch menu. Both $9.50 a plate. Their pho broth is pretty sweet. The meat and tendon tasted old and overcooked. Not impressed with their pho at all. The lo mein on the other hand was actually a unique dish. The dish could use a bit more cajun flavoring to it to live up to the name but it was unique none the less. The shaken beef is one of the best shaken beef I've had in a long time. It's got lots of flavor and the beef is super tender even 2 year old loves it. The portion is a little small but that's why we order appetizers. I ended up getting a half order of pork spring rolls, which would probably be good for 2 adults as I was only able to eat 1! For the main dish, I enjoyed the Cajun Stir Fry, with mild sausage, and rice noodles. The stir fry had amazing taste, was not too salty and will definitely enjoy this again next time I am in town. First time eating here and i heard some really good things about this place....I'm questioning the pallets of other people heavily from now. I am super picky so maybe it's my pallet that should be in question. The strawberry tea is not a true strawberry tea but rather tea with strawberry syrup. I order the chicken pho. Good broth good bean sprouts. The noodles were okie but nothing to write home about. Chicken had no flavor. I was over the entire meal after about 10 bites. The service and the music is the only reason for the two stars. The prices seemed reasonable for our area being that Asian fusion is not something in high demand. I really hope this place survives the location! Restaurants that pop up where this one is tend to not last very long. I've been here once and it was a pretty good experience. Pros: I had the Cajun Stir Fry. The flavor was great. The service was pretty good as well. They weren't extremely busy, our party of two was seated immediately. Cons: 1. They don't give a military discount. Restaurants in this town and especially this one being so close to the base (within a couple of miles) typically give military discounts. So when one doesn't, they stand out, especially when their prices are on the high side. 2. They don't have a lunch menu. That would be fine if their prices were a little cheaper. But again, with prices on the high side, one would expect a lunch menu. Bottom line- I will probably be back to try some other menu items, but I don't know if this restaurant will make the normal lunch rotation list based on the cons above. read more

I was so hoping that this would be a good restaurant. Unfortunately it is not. I've been there twice. The food is tasty however both times I went I have had problems with the quality of the meat. I did have the steamed rice with fillet mignon this tasted OK but the quality and Quantity of the meat is poor. The dishes are fairly inexpensive so I expected a low quantity of meat. So I can forgive this. The boiled shrimp platter had old shrimp in fact I could not peel it instead it fell apart. Since I was afraid that they were perhaps old shrimp I did not eat them. There were two shrimp that were not falling apart and they tasted good. I called back to report this since I ordered it for takeout. I asked to talk to the manager to report it. The person answering the phones said they were too busy to come to the phone. They are supposed to call me back. read more
