Food is mediocre. Take out is ridiculously priced by weight. If you fill the box you pay double what you pay to dine in with a drink and service and all you can eat. Take out should be the same price as dine in. Apparently they can't get enough people to eat in so they double charge the take out customers. Don't bother either way. Not worth it. read more

While I was awaiting my son to show for dinner I had an unwelcome guest crawling across my table. A roach on my table. After explaining to the manager, possible owner, that a bug was on my table he said he can't help it since they exterminate every month and still have problems with bugs. The buffet was the worst I've ever experienced. I'm years past this restaurant was decent but it has significantly gone down hill. The bug should've been deterrent enough but I thought I would give them a shot. Don't waste your time with this place. It's 12.49 for dinner and they should have charged 1.24. read more

The people are very nice, but the food and the restaurant are awful. The meat is tough. The fried rice is bright orange; I'm not sure why. They have a dish of seafood that was swimming in some congealed white sauce. The ribs were swimming in bbq sauce. The steamed rice was fine. The bathroom was also ok. Very dim. Instead of buying bulbs for the overhead fluorescent light, they laid another lighting device in the casing of the fixture. I do not recommend going to this buffet read more

This is one of the better Asian buffets I have been to (probably second only to buffet palace in Austin, TX), all of the items that I had here I enjoyed. What really got me though was that they have a variation of shrimp toast made instead with crab, and also fried plantains on the buffet. I'd gladly come here over panda express, Pei Wei, or Pf Chang chain restaurants. It gets 5 stars for excelling at what it is, a good Asian buffet, of course this isn't gonna be on par with up scale restaurants, but thats not whay youre comin here in the first place. Ahhh this place. Good old monetary fraud at its finest. They "dropped" my debit card on the floor; scanned it with the hidden CC scanner behind the counter, and by the time I got home I already had fraudulent charges in my card. read more

Why is the Shrimp Fried Rice orange? It was ok, flavor wasn't what I was expecting. I didn't see any egg in it. With tax, the large shrimp fried rice was a little over $10. Kinda high just for fried rice imo. It had probably 8- 10 or so shrimp in the box, so that part was ok. read more

Their buffet was plentiful and clean. i was there during dinner and there were not tons of children running around. that was nice. the atmosphere was quiet. the waiter was polite. he tried to engage in a joke here and there. their dishes were different, that is one that i was not familiar with therefore i did not know their ingredients. i can not have honey. the sesame chicken was all breading and no chicken. that was one of the only dishes that i could safety eat. before i left i had to make an emergency run to the toliet. so one of the dishes i tasted terribly upset my stomach. i suspect MSG. i personally have no plans to return. read more

I've been going here for years with my family and every time I've went the food has been great and the service is really nice as well but sometimes during some hours the food will be cold from being left out. The Ambiance of the place isn't to bad but there In fact they normally have really nice pictures on the wall and good music playing. 1/7/19. The strangest collection of food items gathered together in a small area, but yet in great diverse abundance and sold as Chinese. Many of the items I consumed (devoured) here at lunch today were unknown to me. And not due to any ignorance, or lack of knowledge or experience with Chinese, Chinese-American, or Asian Fusion culinary food items on my end, but rather that a great many of these items here on this buffet aren't labeled at all. And I'm okay with that. I was okay with it today upon dining here for the very first time. (I'm never over this way, ever.) I was okay lurking culinarily into the unknown because every single item on every tiny row, looked extremely fresh, smelled absolutely delicious, and the serving area, utensils, dining tables were all very clean. So, who cares what all of this really is on my plate? It's all so mouth-wateringly awesome, I don't care. I really don't. Not for the $7 lunch buffet. On Sundays, the price is more. There were odd offerings: Chicken Meat Balls, Baked Spinach Florentine, Miami Chicken, Hot Dog Bites served in fresh baked, buttery crescent rolls(??) But man, I was soooo hungry, and all this freak show food was so dang tasty!!! And all for SEVEN BUCKS!! Yes, please!! This place also does a HUGE takeout business!! $3.99 a pound, I think? Wandered down to Pines Rd from the hotel on Financial Plaza in search of something other than fast food. Came across this dive on the same side of the road I was on and, despite my better judgement, decided to give it a shot (I'm a sucker for Chinese Buffets). Outside doesn't look like much and the view inside doesn't get much better. Place is typically clean and well-run. Not overly friendly but super-efficient. I was there for an early dinner so the buffet was freshly stocked. I must say, it looked good but that's about where the "good" stopped. Everything was tired and tasteless. No decipherable difference in flavor from the pork to the chicken to the beef. Meat was chewy and flat. All the breaded chicken classics (sesame, general tso, sweet & sour) were overly sauced--as if they rejuvenated the lunch buffet by re-saucing everything. Sauces were super-sweet. It all tasted--old. Left feeling disgustingly full and underwhelmed. Next time I'll stick with Whataburger. read more

The photos are little misleading. The restaurant is nowhere as big as it looks in the photos. It's located in a run-down old strip mall. The food was okay. It did look like it had been sitting for a while they were adding more to it. The only thing that was actually really gross was the sushi. It looked like it had been sitting all day. I did eat one piece of the sushi and luckily I did not get sick. Service was adequate not really great. Looks family owned and ran. read more

All in all I would say that the Dragon Buffet is just your typical run of the mill Chinese buffet. It has never astounded me, but when I'm craving cheap Chinese and can't get to the other side of town it does the job. Clean, decent help, can't complain. read more

I've ate here a couple times while on business trips. At lunch the food was always hot and the buffet has been full. It is by far an above average Asian buffet. Besides the eat in, I've also did the container to go. They charge by the pound, which came to more than eating in, but I had enough for two meals. I went to dragon buffet to get carry-out for my wife kid and myself. I was greeted by friendly staff. They have a unique selection of food. Not all of food is marked as to what it is that's my biggest knock. I'm a trucker and I've had some of the best and worst chinese food in America. Dragon buffet is well above Parr and I have to complement there egg rolls. By far the best. They will be on yes list. I had seen the place and thought we would try it. But I called first because my body will not tolerate MSG. So I asked if they used it in any of their food and the girl assured me they did not. So we went and in just a couple of bites I had to run to the rest room. A couple more bites and again And again. Did not make it that time. I was sure then. I went up front and told the girl she had lied to me about the MSG and she said well we use very little. I didn't think it would hurt. I said well it did and so I am miserable and we have to drive home and my car seat will be in trouble. She shrugged and we left. Normally people tell you when they have that in their food, she chose to lie when I told her I could not handle the stuff. Thank you so much. Never again.
