I have been coming here for the past 3 years and wow their food just gets better. They have wonderful customer service, such a nice couple! My favorites are the carne asada fries and the birria tacos. The birria tacos is an explosion of flavor! The outside perfectly crispy, the meat inside full of flavor and moist. Best in town! This is one of the places I truly don't understand the bad reviews. Yes you expect a wait especially when they are busy. We have tried the whole menu, and nothing was even remotely bad. They have always been sweet to my kids, and one time gave one of my kiddos a goody bag and a free soda. We have yet to have better fries anywhere(asada, birria, pastor). This is a locals best kept secret and I wish I knew of this food truck spot sooner. The food was tastey and fresh- we ordered pastor mini tacos w borracho beans and asada tacos. Cashier was very thorough and polite and respectful. The wait was not long at all as I had my family wait in the vehicle. The location had toys and play area for small children if you want to have the family hang out. There was also a food truck with snacks/ drinks and ice cream and chicken in the same lot. OH MY GOSH PLEASE TRY THIS IF YOU LOVE BIRRIA!!! I am in love with their birria and will definitely be coming back multiple times, it is that good! I haven't found a place in SA but now I finally have! The order taker was so sweet and efficient and asked us if we liked which we loved it, my husband said "muy bien" and I felt that did not express it enough so I told them "muy delicioso, muy rico" I highly recommend! They also had a cute set up with outdoor patio tables and even cute little playgrounds or play sets for the little ones! Got the Al pastor loaded fries 10/10 so good...customer service was a 10/10 they made sure they explain the menu and answered all our questions....when the food came out they made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our food even extra Salsa!!! Really yummy asada tacos and asada fries. The shrimp quesadilla was the cheesiest I have had at any food truck so that was a nice surprise. Charro beans were pretty good but had more of a sausage taste than a bacon taste. The avocado sauce was AWESOME! Friendly staff. Overall- I would definitely visit them again! read more

Went on a Friday evening. Located at the Area 51 food park. Gentleman and lady were extremely nice. Ordered the asada fries and thank gawd I did. Best asada fries I've ever had. Tried the fideo loco and asada taco. The taco....amazing! The fiedo not so much. Granted, the meat is a heartier cut but it was so salty I had to throw away about 3/4 of the dish. Definitely would return for the taco though. read more

They were swamped but slaying in the kitchen. The lady taking our order personally apologized for the wait. Definitely would recommend, it's worth the wait. We sat down, and the acetone smell dissipated so either I was use to it or they turned down a shared ventilation system. The food though was the big surprise! It was excellent. We ordered the Special House Bun with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and a crispy egg roll. The proportion of vermicelli noodles to fresh lettuce, carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts and peanuts provide d that perfect bite were one ingredient dominated the other. All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.

Ordered the Pastor street tacos with cilantro, onion and green salsa. They were the best I have ever had. Also the loaded fries were truly loaded with delicious meat. If you haven't tried the food here you need to get there. You won't be disappointed. read more

I think they have just been lucky with the utter lack of competition near them. The food is underwhelming at times, and just ok the rest. The most recent time we came, and trust me it's the kiddos not wanting tias or McDonalds, they had mini tacos. First it seems like the prices go up everytime we come, but the amount of food or quality doesn't get better. Also, almost all places we go to give you a side of charro beans. Not here, I guess the cost cutting has even come to this food truck. I get it, everything costs more. This was place just wasn't that good to begin with. It times it feels like the food is made like someone is just going through the motions, and the bare minimum effort is made. With the downfall of el guacamole down the street, tias horrible food, and don't even get me started on how bad el saborcito is, this the best of a limited choice nearby. But I was already frustrated so we left. They also had technical issues so I'm just gonna take it as a rough night thing. I got birria tacos and my finance got pastor tacos. We also tried the horchata. The food was soooo amazing. It was juicy and flavorfull. The horchata is probably the best in town!
