I went here on a Saturday night, plenty of parking, they are located in a shopping center. When we walked in, there was a dj playing music. They play until 9 pm on the weekends. We were seated immediately, and our waiter took our drink orders and gave us menus. They have a variety of tacos, and they also have quesadillas, burritos, hamburgers, and hot dogs. I got the birria tacos with consomme. An order comes the tacos, cilantro, onion, and limes. No sides but it is reasonably priced at $12, and you can add sides. The tacos were filled with tender beef and cheese and fried perfectly. The shells had a nice crunch. The only challenge I had was that this an authentic Mexican restaurant and our waiter spoke very little English and unfortunately I speak very little Spanish, so he did not understand when I asked for my daughter's tacos to be made without the cilantro and onion so when the food came out they had to remake her tacos. But when they did, the tacos were hot and fresh, and she enjoyed them too. I will definitely go back when I'm in San Antonio, I will just have my friends who speak Spanish fluently order for me. read more

Horchata is absolutely amazing, love that it doesn't taste like it was made from powder. Tortas are delicious especially with the salsa verde. Disappointed in the quesadillas, they are extremely loaded with grease making it difficult to enjoy. Overall great place, with mostly good food. read more

My dad loves to go eat breakfast here. Their customer service for us at least is always good. If you like home cooked chicharrones I recommend you ordering theirs; my dad, hubby and cousin all loved it. Was in town visiting family for the holidays and came across this place. Worth it! Food truck off the side of the road , people waiting for their orders and you could tell it had it a following. Dorados de Birra tacos were great, flavorful and were good portions. We did wait about 25 min for our order. We showed up around 745pm . So if your in a hurry call in the order and give it 15 min then take off here. Parking is somewhat limited but there was some spaces in front of the food truck or in the businesses next door. My wife tried the giant birra quesadilla and it was great as well. Cheezy and good just by itself but with the consume (dipping sauce if you will) it just took it to another level. Prices were reasonable in my opinion. Good portions and great authentic taste. I'll definitely be going back. They accept cash and debit/credit cards. I do not recommend! Strike 1: called three times and was hung up on Strike 2: no alcohol! You are allowed to BYOB but they charge you! Strike 3: due to allergies I had my child take in her own food and was told she wasn't allowed to eat her food in there because there was no outdoor food and drinks allowed & were asked to leave. The food is delicious here. Finally found some tacos that have good carne asada meat. I got the Mexican nachos and they were packed with the toppings. The horchata is also delicious just how I like it. I came on Tuesday located at Area 51 and it's outdoors. It's a very nice setting though.
