A cute boutique bakeshop in Fishers. They offer decorated cakes, fresh pastries, sandwiches, and coffee in a charming space with a few cozy tables for seating inside and outside. I tried the caramel almond Danish and a caramel iced latte, and both were good. The Danish had the perfect balance of flavors, somewhere between a sticky bun and a Liege waffle. The iced latte was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of caramel without being overly sweet. Together, they made the perfect afternoon treat. Whether you're catching up with friends over coffee or looking for a cozy spot for a mid-afternoon date, or taking your family out for an afternoon treat this is a great place to visit.

What a cute shop! I wasn't expecting all the pretty decor. It was very empty when I went in on a Wednesday at 11am, but that wasn't bad since I was able to have a quiet convo with my friend. There isn't a ton of drink options to choose from - just a few coffees and some canned drinks. There are quite a few dessert options left and I tried the fruit tart which was really good! The fruit was fresh and the custard was tasty. I will be back!

Cake pantry is located in a good area in Fishers where you can walk to it easily - street parking fills up, but there are garages nearby. I tried the strawberry cake - delicious, tasted like strawberry shortcake! I also tried a slice of Biscoff cake - this fell short for me. Biscoff is a delicious, but strong flavor and the white cake and whipped icing paired with it are just too delicate. Lastly, I tried the apple mousse - super cool looking, and it tasted like apple pie! Overall, really good, moist cake with some inventive mousse treats I haven't seen elsewhere - worth checking out.

I really wanted to like this place, and keep in mind that I visited only 2 weeks after their grand opening, so there's every chance that they will eventually improve, but I was disappointed by my visit. First off, I stopped by a few minutes after they opened and though there was a couple inside, the doors were still locked from the outside. The couple waiting next to me outside gave up and left. When I was eventually let in, I looked at the handful of sweets on display, and they just looked lonely. Only a few slices of cake and some of the fruit shaped mousse desserts, which did not look as appealing as I've seen them elsewhere. The service was lacking as one employee was busy putting in a bunch of croissants to bake and the other one seemed to be off disappearing to Narnia or doing whatever behind the scenes work in the backroom. The sweets I did buy were pricy, but nothing special. When done right, the fruit mousse desserts can be worth a $10 price tag, but these were small and just ok. The slice of cake was also fine, but not something I would get again.

3 stars. Gorgeous bakery! If you're looking for a pretty place to host a small gathering, Fishers now has a beautiful option. First, this is a scratch bakery. Everything is made in-house, and some ingredients are even imported from Europe to maintain the highest quality standards. Second, everything in the display case is an absolute work of art. I spent several minutes simply admiring how beautiful and appetizing everything looked. The chef is even creating those viral mousse-filled desserts and hand-airbrushing them! The level of talent and attention to detail is impressive. The macarons are picture-perfectly pastel. The laminated dough on the croissants is gorgeously glossy. We tried the Biscoff cake and a few shortbread cookies. The cookies were rich, buttery, and clearly made with high-quality European butter. I do wish they had been a bit sweeter. They reminded me more of a biscotti or a southern tea cake than traditional shortbread. They would pair beautifully with coffee, but they weren't quite what I expected. The Biscoff cake, however, was surprisingly true to its flavor profile. Sometimes cookie butter desserts make you search for that signature flavor, but not this one. The Biscoff shines through immediately and tap dances across your taste buds. If you're a cookie butter fan like I am, you'll love it. I was a little disappointed by the white cake itself. It provided excellent structure, but the flavor was lacking. Honestly, it was almost completely neutral. That may have been intentional, though, because it allowed the Biscoff flavor to remain the star of the show. The texture was dense and sturdy, with a flavor profile that reminded me a bit of angel food cake. The cake is finished with a light, whipped cream frosting that is absolutely perfect for this dessert. It complements the richness of the Biscoff beautifully without overwhelming it. And it's served in a cake container that has the fork built in! So cute! I love the attention to detail. For those wondering, Taylor's has nothing to worry about. The offerings here are completely different, and this bakery serves a different niche. There's plenty of room in Fishers for both. They also offer hot beverages, coffee, lattes and the likes. Unfortunately, they don't have a cookie butter latte or chai tea which are my go-tos. So, I'll wait till winter to sample the drink menu. Service was good. The young lady working was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job answering our questions. I believe the chef was there, but he never stepped out to greet guests. It's your grand opening... come say hello! Tell us about your creations, your journey, and what inspired you to choose Fishers as your new home. We want to hear your story! Welcome to the Fishers! I'm looking forward to working my way through the case one sweet treat at a time.

This place is CUTE. Such a fun place for cake or coffee. They do play loud music but all trendy stuff. Tons of free street parking. They have a selection of sandwiches, coffee, croissants, cookies, cakes and a few other pastries! I ordered the strawberry cake & iced vanilla latte and they were very friendly to answer additional questions and help me with suggestions, will return

Went back again to Cake Pantry and this time I tried the coffee mousse. First off gelatin is vegetarian which was very helpful to know. Second the mousse was airy light and just the right consistency. I loved the smoothness of texture in every bite. There was a thin encasing of chocolate which added mini bites of crunchy goodness. Service was great, chef baker was readily accessible for gelatin question. Happy customer!

The pastries were pretty but not good. Service was good and the ambiance was very pretty.

    Lemon dessert

I got the lemon mousse and I have no idea what was in the middle but it was jet black and leafy? They don't tell you what is inside any of the desserts and when you ask staff they don't know ether.

    Beautiful deserts!

Amy Hans, owner and operator of A Slice of Heaven knows where its at! After shopping high and low…read morefor a perfect cake with an affordable price for my wedding, I was referred to Amy and her fabulous delectable cakes. There are LOTS of cake places in the Indy area that CLAIM to have the best tasting cakes, and having been in about 27 flippin' weddings myself, I have tasted a lot of these so called "best cakes". Well, none of them lived up to Amy's cake, which was moist, gorgeous and even wonderful a YEAR later on my 1st anniversary. Might I also mention that she charges UNDER $2.00 a slice. This might make her SOUND cheap and therefore, might make you think that there are BETTER cakes out there b/c they are more expensive, but I beg to differ. The likes of other cakeries don't have have anything on Amy and her slices of heaven. First off, I ask her to do a chocolate drizzle on my cake. She had never done this but promised she would make it work. For months leading up to my event she would call to let me know she was "practicing". She also had other brides and grooms taste test MY cake to make sure it was progressing. Not only was my cake GREAT tasting but it was BEAUTIFUL!! I cannot say ENOUGH about this wonderful concoction that was my wedding cake. It was three layers of double chocolate and two layers of almond vanilla with white chocolate icing and dark chocolate drizzle. My (crappy florist) tossed in some pretty pink roses and we WON and award from "Real People Magazine" for Indiana's BEST cake!! For a whopping $320 total for a cake that served nearly 200 people, I could NOT have been happier. She even came the day of, cut my cake for me and put it together. It looked fantastic, tasted fantastic, was affordable and I could not have been a happier bride. I have since used her for birthday cakes, shower cakes and desserts of every sort!! Brides, do not choose those OTHER cake shops that constantly CLAIM to have the best cakes. Take yourself to small town Indiana and have a slice of heaven instead! You'll thank me later!

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. This bakery made my special family party a huge success, everyone enjoyed the food and remarked on how delicious it looked and tasted. Thank you SO much for making the event extra special

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.
