    Raspberry mousse dessert
    Kimberly W.

I really wanted to like this place, and keep in mind that I visited only 2 weeks after their grand opening, so there's every chance that they will eventually improve, but I was disappointed by my visit. First off, I stopped by a few minutes after they opened and though there was a couple inside, the doors were still locked from the outside. The couple waiting next to me outside gave up and left. When I was eventually let in, I looked at the handful of sweets on display, and they just looked lonely. Only a few slices of cake and some of the fruit shaped mousse desserts, which did not look as appealing as I've seen them elsewhere. The service was lacking as one employee was busy putting in a bunch of croissants to bake and the other one seemed to be off disappearing to Narnia or doing whatever behind the scenes work in the backroom. The sweets I did buy were pricy, but nothing special. When done right, the fruit mousse desserts can be worth a $10 price tag, but these were small and just ok. The slice of cake was also fine, but not something I would get again.

This place is CUTE. Such a fun place for cake or coffee. They do play loud music but all trendy stuff. Tons of free street parking. They have a selection of sandwiches, coffee, croissants, cookies, cakes and a few other pastries! I ordered the strawberry cake & iced vanilla latte and they were very friendly to answer additional questions and help me with suggestions, will return

3 stars. Gorgeous bakery! If you're looking for a pretty place to host a small gathering, Fishers now has a beautiful option. First, this is a scratch bakery. Everything is made in-house, and some ingredients are even imported from Europe to maintain the highest quality standards. Second, everything in the display case is an absolute work of art. I spent several minutes simply admiring how beautiful and appetizing everything looked. The chef is even creating those viral mousse-filled desserts and hand-airbrushing them! The level of talent and attention to detail is impressive. The macarons are picture-perfectly pastel. The laminated dough on the croissants is gorgeously glossy. We tried the Biscoff cake and a few shortbread cookies. The cookies were rich, buttery, and clearly made with high-quality European butter. I do wish they had been a bit sweeter. They reminded me more of a biscotti or a southern tea cake than traditional shortbread. They would pair beautifully with coffee, but they weren't quite what I expected. The Biscoff cake, however, was surprisingly true to its flavor profile. Sometimes cookie butter desserts make you search for that signature flavor, but not this one. The Biscoff shines through immediately and tap dances across your taste buds. If you're a cookie butter fan like I am, you'll love it. I was a little disappointed by the white cake itself. It provided excellent structure, but the flavor was lacking. Honestly, it was almost completely neutral. That may have been intentional, though, because it allowed the Biscoff flavor to remain the star of the show. The texture was dense and sturdy, with a flavor profile that reminded me a bit of angel food cake. The cake is finished with a light, whipped cream frosting that is absolutely perfect for this dessert. It complements the richness of the Biscoff beautifully without overwhelming it. And it's served in a cake container that has the fork built in! So cute! I love the attention to detail. For those wondering, Taylor's has nothing to worry about. The offerings here are completely different, and this bakery serves a different niche. There's plenty of room in Fishers for both. They also offer hot beverages, coffee, lattes and the likes. Unfortunately, they don't have a cookie butter latte or chai tea which are my go-tos. So, I'll wait till winter to sample the drink menu. Service was good. The young lady working was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job answering our questions. I believe the chef was there, but he never stepped out to greet guests. It's your grand opening... come say hello! Tell us about your creations, your journey, and what inspired you to choose Fishers as your new home. We want to hear your story! Welcome to the Fishers! I'm looking forward to working my way through the case one sweet treat at a time.

We reached The Cake Pantry at 5pm and they almost ran out of everything which was very disappointing to us. Cake pantry opened a couple weeks ago and has been very popular. I get why it was for a couple reasons. Fishers downtown which is buzzing with young students, the beautiful ambience which makes it very social media worthy and the croissants which absolutely lived up to the hype. They had pistachio croissants thankfully still available which was a huge relief for our visit. The croissant was flaky, buttery and the pistachio filling was absolutely delicious. I still think of the delicious croissant. We will go back early morning the next time.

    Lemon dessert

I got the lemon mousse and I have no idea what was in the middle but it was jet black and leafy? They don't tell you what is inside any of the desserts and when you ask staff they don't know ether.

    Beautiful deserts!

Pastries were great, arguably the best in town. I only wish they opened a bit earlier.

If you place an on-line order by Wednesday, Rustic Crust provides "Free Delivery" to your home that Friday. (Free delivery to Hamilton County, IN). So far, I've sampled the White Parmesan, Light Rye, and Jalapeno Sharp Cheddar Sourdoughs. We have also ordered the Brazilian Cheese Bread (the wife's favorite). My favorite, so far, is the Parmesan Sourdough, although, I must say, the Sharp Cheddar Jalapeno is amazing. (Pic below). I especially love the crisp golden crust of these sourdoughs. This Friday, I am looking forward to my first loaf of White Olive Sourdough. Rustic Crust / Luv Bakery creates their products with high-quality and natural ingredients. You can taste the love and freshness in each bite. I've sampled many sourdoughs during my travels across the United States, and I'd definitely rank Rustic Crust / Luv Bakery in the "top tier" for authenticity, taste, freshness, and quality. I highly recommend Rustic Crust / Luv Bakery. Give this place a try.

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

Much like the downtown Indy location, Lemon's is technically located within the Carmel Needler's. However, Lemon's has its own separate entrance and storefront while existing on the east end of Needler's. You can access Needler's directly from Lemon's Bakery Cafe. Lemon's has a small counter with display cases for its baked goods. Like the downtown Indy location, they offer sweets from Noblesville's Rosie's and they offer a variety of local coffees and a rather extensive list of coffee options. There's also a relatively small dining area with booths appropriate for 2-3 people. I found this area not entirely wheelchair friendly, though I could make it work. My best option was sitting at the end of a row of booths which put me pretty much close to the door on a rather chilly day. The employee working was super quiet but friendly and helpful. I ordered two chocolate frosted donuts, they have donuts, and I was honestly a bit stunned they were only $2 total. They do have higher-priced items, of course. The donuts were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot on a rainy, dreary day here in Indy. I appreciated that the doors were automatic doors and that there was accessible parking directly in front of the entrance. I also appreciated being able to check out Needler's, though to grab a cart you do have to go down to the Needler's entrance. While I wouldn't consider Lemon's a destination bakery, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in while in the area and this has become a nice little strip center with Needler's, a CVS, Roots Burger Bar, Rad's, and a couple other fun businesses to check out here. Business was steady in the few minutes I was here and it seems to be a stop for neighborhood families. If you're in the area and craving some baked goods Lemon's is a convenient, affordable option that also supports local!

Their bakery items are very pretty, but we have noticed that some of the offerings (like the stuffed donuts) do not really have a taste to them besides sugar- which is fine if you're just wanting a quick sugar rush, but disappointing if you're actually wanting to try an ube stuffed donut and then don't get any ube flavor at all. Their display offerings are very good and always taste like what they say they should. I've never tried any savory pastries from them, but I want to on my next visit. They have coffee, hot chocolate, frappes, smoothies, lemonades, etc as well. The tiramisu latte is amazing and I get it every time I go since it's always when it's fall/winter, but an iced coffee or lemonade sounds so good once the weather gets warm again. Plan your visit for early in the day before their pastries get bought up! They stay very busy and our last visit was late in the evening to coincide with grocery shopping in Saraga so we could take everything straight home to the fridge. They were very picked over, but I got a slice of pound cake to snack on with my latte and a load of milk bread. The milk bread is a family favorite, so I recommend trying that out if you've never had it before. They also sell some super cute "accessories" on top of the display case and I bought "Happy Birthday" candles for my husband's birthday earlier this month from them, as well as some that said "I Love You" for Valentine's Day.
