Hot Toddy's is a little hard to find at the back of Broccoli Bill's. But it's worth making your way back to. Great cookies and treats and friendly staff. A great dessert option if you're eating at Broccoli Bill's. It's a little cramped, but there's plenty of room up front.

If your looking for the most amazing carrot cake, you've got to try Hot Toddy's. They are located in the back of Broccoli Bills and Slapfish in Nobelsville. The cake is bursting with all the flavors a carrot cake should! And the frosting is to die for! Oh that cream cheese frosting! It compliments the cake perfectly and is not to sweet. The portion size is perfect to split as well. Just an FYI, I have been here and they have been sold out so if your heart is set on carrot cake you may want to call ahead and make sure they have some. They do have other desserts but I'm so in love with this carrot cake I haven't tried anything else, as good as this is though I'm sure their other desserts do not disappoint.

So happy to have found this bakery! Perfect carrot cake--dense, moist, with walnuts and cream cheese frosting. Triple Chocolate Cheesecake that satisfies your chocolate craving without overpowering you. Key Lime Pie with graham cracker crust is just the right amount of fresh and tart. The people working here are just great. You need to give this place a try. It's in the very back of Broccoli Bill's and Slapfish Grill if you come in the front--or to the right if you come in the side entrance. Highly recommend!

I stopped into Broccoli Bill's to meet someone and shopped around as I was waiting. There were several sweet treats tempting me and I ultimately chose a brownie. I record everything I eat on My Fitness Pal so I carefully consider everything I eat. I ended up choosing a brownie to indulge in. I took it home and ate it half the same day as purchase and the remaining half the next day. I zapped it in the microwave for a few seconds and it was pretty tasty both days. They had a good selection of sweets to choose from including a variety of cookies.

Small bakery at the back of Broccoli Bill's grocery

Thanks to Yelp (Chrissy C) for letting me know about this small bakery at the back of Broccoli Bill's grocery. After lunch at Slapfish (also in the same building), I decided to stop by the bakery to see what I might like for dessert. The bakery space is quite small with a display case and a free standing display of baked goods. I like that they have many of the items available in reasonably sized slices at prices that are less than what you would pay at nice restaurants for dessert. I picked up a Key Lime Pie slice and a Carrot Cake for $7. The baker was there and was friendly to deal with. He also has full size pies and cakes that are for sale too. It may not be the biggest bakery and have all the items you are looking for, but if you want something for dessert, it's a good place to check out! Review #3695

If you want fresh baked cinnamon rolls, Todd's famous carrot cake or German chocolate and the best cheesecake I've ever had, go check this place out. You won't be sorry. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I always stock up on jams and jellies to bring back with me.

Their brownies, which I've had, are fabulous!

Heard about this little gem and finally visited last night- visit being the operative word as Todd and Earl were delightful and I feel like we're friends now! We bought cinnamon rolls, which we had for breakfast this morning, and bought slices of Key Lime Pie and Carrot Cake, which was dessert last night. Now I see why they're rated 5 stars! Everything was delicious. They also make all of their own jams- including the best apple butter we've ever had, which they let us sample. Also made are a variety of cookies, granolas (including gluten free), cupcakes, brownies and more. It's tucked away behind Slapfish and Broccoli Bill's (in the same building!) on Gray Road. I suggested more signage, which they agreed, because unless I knew of them from my friend I don't think I would've seen it, much less tried it- and that would've been a huge loss!

Their cinnamon rolls are breathtaking! This amazing bakery is located in the back of Slapfish and Broccoli Bills. 10$ for four AMAZING CINNAMON ROLLS is a price you just cannot beat! I posted a screenshot of my Instagram story because I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to save a photo! You all won't regret these!

There must have been a quarter pound of chocolate chips in my ice cream! It was delicious - not too sweet. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake crunch small cone. He loved the crunch and thought the ice cream tasted very fresh. I appreciated that the paper wrapper on the cone was not glued to the cone. I love my cone. We ate our cone at clean outdoor benches that are on the north side of their shop. Parking is close and the shop was not busy during our afternoon visit.

I don't like math, so I just ignore the math part of this day (3.1415, etc.). Instead, I focus on the pie part (yum). It's a day to eat pie, in my mind! My internet searching led me to Becky the Bakester, and I was intrigued because she offers mini pies. I liked the idea of eating a lot of many different pies instead of a lot of one flavor of pie. Becky the Bakester offers several different flavors of mini pies. When I visited, there were mini cherry pies, mixed berry, apple, chocolate French silk, key lime and peanut butter pies. She doesn't just sell pies, though. You'll also find cookies, scones, cake pops, cinnamon rolls, icebox cake slices, bread pudding and Rice Krispie treats. She also does custom desserts and catering. I ended up taking home a mini cherry, mixed berry and key lime pie. We all thought the key lime was the best, and next time we visit, we're getting a full key lime pie! There is no seating in this dessert shop -- it's a to-go place only. You can also order ahead on their website, but it seems like they keep a good selection of desserts available for walk-in customers.

Yesterday, I decided that I would not be cooking dinner and instead opted to order pizza and dessert to be picked up on my way home. This is such a cute, quaint little shop located in a tiny strip mall next to a gas station. So very unassuming, yet quite impressive. I loved the two cute yellow tables and chairs out on the sidewalk as well as the Sinatra that was playing when I entered the shop. I was greeted warmly and let me say how much I value a pleasant and genuine interaction like that. Someone came to the front of the store from the kitchen in the back, and she too greeted me with a very welcoming and warm smile. This fact alone makes me want to return and support this place of business. My pizzas were prepared fresh and handed to me hot out of the oven. The deserts, an assortment of 3 different kinds of cookies as well as two slices of cake, were kept separate and cold. My husband loved the pizza (he is somewhat of a connoisseur) and I enjoyed it as well. The carrot cake was a bit dense for my liking and the pistachio ricotta was decadent. My husband really enjoyed these sweet treats as a night cap! I loved the cookies. I ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl cookie, the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie, and two of the Pistachio Thumbprint cookies. My personal favorite was the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie. It had a great contrast in texture with the soft-baked cookie being perfectly complemented by the crunch of the pistachio pieces, and it wasn't overly sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more cookies, cakes and pastries in the future! They also carry some authentic imported Italian products, such as pomodoro sauce.

The service when I got to the shop was awesome. My order was ready to go. However, this is where things changed. I ordered the lemon poppyseed. Now, if I was just ordering a poppyseed cookie, this would've been nine out of 10 there was crispness to the edges, soft middle, but not too soft and also not too sweet's a really solid cookie. However, since I went into it thinking this was gonna be lemon including lemon icing drizzle on the top I did not smell lemon when I first smelled the cookie and I did not taste any lemon in the cookie itself so I have to say that my review went from 9 to 5 out of 10 because I love lemon flavor and almost never does anyone have enough lemon flavor. in this case there wasn't any. Highly disappointed crave. Onto the next cookie, I ordered the mango sticky rice because the ingredients looked awesome and the concept sounded good There are big chunks of mango in every bite. I believe these are dried mango pieces. I think fresh mango would've tasted better, but probably would've led to a much more wet cookie. This cookie was pretty dense. It was not as soft as the first cookie however, it was also not very sweet which was good. I would probably order this again.

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this?
