    Carrot cake
    Andrea P.

If your looking for the most amazing carrot cake, you've got to try Hot Toddy's. They are located in the back of Broccoli Bills and Slapfish in Nobelsville. The cake is bursting with all the flavors a carrot cake should! And the frosting is to die for! Oh that cream cheese frosting! It compliments the cake perfectly and is not to sweet. The portion size is perfect to split as well. Just an FYI, I have been here and they have been sold out so if your heart is set on carrot cake you may want to call ahead and make sure they have some. They do have other desserts but I'm so in love with this carrot cake I haven't tried anything else, as good as this is though I'm sure their other desserts do not disappoint.

So happy to have found this bakery! Perfect carrot cake--dense, moist, with walnuts and cream cheese frosting. Triple Chocolate Cheesecake that satisfies your chocolate craving without overpowering you. Key Lime Pie with graham cracker crust is just the right amount of fresh and tart. The people working here are just great. You need to give this place a try. It's in the very back of Broccoli Bill's and Slapfish Grill if you come in the front--or to the right if you come in the side entrance. Highly recommend!

    Brownie :)

I stopped into Broccoli Bill's to meet someone and shopped around as I was waiting. There were several sweet treats tempting me and I ultimately chose a brownie. I record everything I eat on My Fitness Pal so I carefully consider everything I eat. I ended up choosing a brownie to indulge in. I took it home and ate it half the same day as purchase and the remaining half the next day. I zapped it in the microwave for a few seconds and it was pretty tasty both days. They had a good selection of sweets to choose from including a variety of cookies.

Small bakery at the back of Broccoli Bill's grocery

Thanks to Yelp (Chrissy C) for letting me know about this small bakery at the back of Broccoli Bill's grocery. After lunch at Slapfish (also in the same building), I decided to stop by the bakery to see what I might like for dessert. The bakery space is quite small with a display case and a free standing display of baked goods. I like that they have many of the items available in reasonably sized slices at prices that are less than what you would pay at nice restaurants for dessert. I picked up a Key Lime Pie slice and a Carrot Cake for $7. The baker was there and was friendly to deal with. He also has full size pies and cakes that are for sale too. It may not be the biggest bakery and have all the items you are looking for, but if you want something for dessert, it's a good place to check out! Review #3695

If you want fresh baked cinnamon rolls, Todd's famous carrot cake or German chocolate and the best cheesecake I've ever had, go check this place out. You won't be sorry. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I always stock up on jams and jellies to bring back with me.

Their brownies, which I've had, are fabulous!

Heard about this little gem and finally visited last night- visit being the operative word as Todd and Earl were delightful and I feel like we're friends now! We bought cinnamon rolls, which we had for breakfast this morning, and bought slices of Key Lime Pie and Carrot Cake, which was dessert last night. Now I see why they're rated 5 stars! Everything was delicious. They also make all of their own jams- including the best apple butter we've ever had, which they let us sample. Also made are a variety of cookies, granolas (including gluten free), cupcakes, brownies and more. It's tucked away behind Slapfish and Broccoli Bill's (in the same building!) on Gray Road. I suggested more signage, which they agreed, because unless I knew of them from my friend I don't think I would've seen it, much less tried it- and that would've been a huge loss!

Their cinnamon rolls are breathtaking! This amazing bakery is located in the back of Slapfish and Broccoli Bills. 10$ for four AMAZING CINNAMON ROLLS is a price you just cannot beat! I posted a screenshot of my Instagram story because I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to save a photo! You all won't regret these!

It's obvious that these people really care about coffee and roast good beans. I got one of their summer specialty drink, Wake up San Francisco. It was a blackberry lavender Cuban. Never had a Cuban coffee drink before and honestly, I forgot what the barista told me it was, but it was pretty similar to a cortado in its milk vs. espresso ratio. The coffee was really good and I loved the combo of blackberry and lavender. It wasn't too sweet or overpowering. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. It may have been a little too loud for me to actually work at, but I was also there during peak hours. We got lucky and happened to jump in line moments before the line was almost out the door. I went with their avocado toast and a seasonal lavender blackberry latte with oat milk. Both were delicious! The latte was recommended by one of their baristas and I'm so glad they told me about it. The avocado toast, while delicious, was a little difficult to eat since it's topped with arugula. I still ate every single bite. I will say that this spot wasn't the best environment to get work done. The wifi was really bad and I had to use my hotspot the entire time. It was also incredibly loud and I had to go outside to take a call. Not sure if it's because it was busy or the acoustics just amplified things or what. The restroom also didn't have any soap. On the plus side, there is a parking garage attached and it's free. Every member of their staff I came in contact with was fabulous as well. Overall, cool neighborhood coffee shop. I would return if I lived nearby.

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

We shared the Nutella & Fruit Crepe, and without a doubt, it was the best crepe I've ever had. Not only was it unbelievably delicious, but the presentation was almost too beautiful to eat.
