I have successfully completed the 6 week challenge with The Camp losing 20.4pounds! I highly recommend The Camp Transformation Center at 1420 Federal Rd Houston Texas 77015. This challenge was not easy for me because of many personal challenges that came up during the 6 weeks. I wanted to give up but after talking to the staff I decided to finish what I started and I made It! I'm glad they didn't give up on me. That's one of the benefits of joining this team. It's more than just a gym membership. It's like having a family who cares about your health and well-being too. I'm in the best physical condition I have ever been in my life because of The Camp. I have tried many gym memberships in my lifetime and this is by far the best one I have joined. The next challenge starts November 1, come join us!

It was Jan 2nd 2020 the first time I walked in this camp. I must admit I was not there willingly, but rather persuaded by my mother who was just worried and only looking out for me, like most moms do. I joined the 6-week challenge full of fears and self-sabotaging thoughts that never fail to appear when we are about to embark on a path that moves us away from our comfort zone. I decided to silence all those thoughts that didn't favor me and take one challenge at a time. Somehow not thinking that far ahead calmed my fear of failure. I just kept telling myself - "just 20 more pounds" instead of the scary +370lbs I needed to reach my goal. It's been a little over two years and I just finished my 13th challenge, even though I didn't make the 20 lbs this time, I couldn't be happier for making that decision of joining this program that has truly changed my life. The journey hasn't been easy, I've had ups and downs, moments where self doubt and old unhealthy habits still come creeping up on me. But with time I have learned the true meaning of self control and restraint, it is an everyday practice. I always try to remember that the true transformation comes from within, and only when I understood that everything else changed. I am my most precious project and I try to keep that present in my mind every single day. I will forever be thankful with the camp family for being a huge part of my process. To the awesome trainers that encourage me to push my limits , the lovely office/marketing staff that have greeted me with a joyful smile and positive attitude, and of course the director Mrs. Rosey for being so kind and humble all the time, always willing to offer help when needed. I wish to not make this longer than it should so I just want to tell you if you're considering joining this program: DO IT!! Don't overthink it. The best investment you can possibly make is the one you make on yourself. It will be uncomfortable, emotional, but so rewarding when and ONLY if you're willing to put in the work, simply life changing. There is no magic trick here, it's all on you. The program offers all the resources, guidance, and help you need...but 99% of it is up to you. The real question here is whether you're ready for something like this or not. But don't be scared, you're stronger than you think you are.

I finished the first challenge at The Camp and I sincerely did not think I was going to make it. The staff is great, they know what they are talking about, and their method does help you shed the pounds. I wanted to try something different since other methods have failed me miserably. Give it a try, I been here for 2 months and I'm eager to come in to The Camp each and every time.

Hello My name is Andrea , On July 24, 2017 I decided that it was time to make a change. So I joined the 6 week Challenge because it would be a life change and not just a diet that will make a difference in my appearance. I am doing the challenge to be healthy for myself and my child. I was always on a Yo-Yo diet or see-food lol. This time around I was determined and motivated. Even though I was always working out I was not seeing any changes in my life or appearance because of my bad eating habits. One thing I learned FTDI from The Camp Transformation Center was the place to be. Everyone seemed to be like family and everyone helps each other, size doesn't matter. It was team work! Thanks to my family and Friends for the support like telling me I can do it.I am happy to know I was able to do it and still can't believe I did it. Eating Clean and no salt, sugar or beer is the key! FTDI .....Thank you The Camp Transformation for showing me it can happen. TheCamp Htx Jose Molina TheCamp HTx @ Ana CampHtx @ Hillary Camphtx @ Panda Camphtx .My first Challenge and looking forward to my next round 2 and keeping it off.

Tomorrow will be my first day....no pain no gain !! Ready for this challenge. I have been seeing this through my feed on Facebook and finally convinced myself to do this challenge. Can't wait to get to the 6-week mark and see my results very excited and very challenging but I can do this

31 pounds gone in 6 weeks!

Since the accident, I've been dealing with severe pain, multiple doctor visits, an MRI, and ongoing appointments with an orthopedic specialist. There is also a possibility that I will need physical therapy as part of my recovery. What has been most disappointing throughout this entire experience is how poorly the situation has been handled. It took me three separate attempts to file a claim before I finally received a response from the General Manager and was given an incident report number. Since then, I have not received any follow-up communication, updates, or even a simple check-in regarding my condition or claim. Because of this injury, I have been unable to work and have lost income while trying to recover. The physical pain has been difficult enough, but the lack of communication and support from the gym has made an already stressful situation even more frustrating. As a paying member, I expected much better. Instead, I feel like my concerns have been ignored and that I've been left on my own to deal with the aftermath of an injury that occurred at your facility. The complete lack of customer service, urgency, and accountability has been extremely disappointing. At a minimum, I expected someone to follow up, provide updates, or show some level of concern for what I've been going through. I hope no other member has to go through an experience like this. The injury itself has been difficult, but the way it has been handled has made the situation even worse.

Best gym on the East Side!!…read more I started coming to Facet Seven Eado to get in the best Bride-To-Be/ Wedding shape I could, and it happened thanks to Mikel!! I highly recommend booking with him if you're in the market for a personal trainer! Not only will he help you reach your goals, but he's also very informative with why you're doing certain exercises (which is very helpful as someone who has no clue!) I do have to say, having a personal trainer really made my experience at Facet Seven Eado! I love that you can view all the trainer profiles online and book with them, making the whole process more approachable. The gym itself seems to have everything you would need - from machines to free weights to classes. Parking: They have some handicap parking and a few open spaces in front of the gym. That being said, I almost always had to park on the side street. Accessibility: In addition to the handicap parking - They do have a ramp for accessibility to the entrance as well, but otherwise get ready for a pre-workout warm up hiking up the stairs to the front entrance! They also have a large shower stall (at least in the women's locker room) for accessibility needs. Staff: The staff (especially the trainers) are beyond welcoming. For some reason the people at the front desk aren't so much. During my time here, I rarely got welcomed which does make it a bit awkward if you're not so comfortable in the gym. Also, they have a scanner to checkin on your app but that worked less than 50% of the time for me, leading to more awkward moments with the front desk. Space: The space is very open, allowing for a lot of different areas. During my time here, they did move some of the weights around, which made for a bit of a choke point/crowded area for the weight machines near the rowers. Personally this was a turn-off for me. Also, being a warehouse, it gets warm. There is AC but during the summer months it doesn't cool too effectively - which I guess helps you sweat and maybe is a good thing (but for me wasn't the best). Overall, I'd definitely return here if I needed a PT to help reach another goal. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new gym in general !

I recently tried Barry's and loved it so I figured I'd try this one as it's closer. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk got me checked in and told me I could wait until the earlier class finished so she could give me an overview. They do have lockers in the bathroom for your stuff; however, most people just left their stuff in the open cubbies at the front. One the earlier class let out, us first timers were brought into the room and shown how to work the treadmill since it wasn't a generic one. For this class, the room has blue lighting and the instructor is on an elevated platform (or should I say DJ booth). The stage is where the exercises are demonstrated and you can always look for the instructor. While Barry's usually does a clean split between time on the treadmill and then the floor... SWEAT has 5-7 minute intervals and rotations. I didn't love this as I was sharing a space with someone else so when I got to the floor... there was sweat from the other person over the bench and it was a bit gross. Additionally, I think more time gets wasted doing the transitions. The workout itself was great and the instructor was nice. When on the treadmill, I appreciate that they give a walk, jog and run option although with the speeds they mention... no way are you still walking unless you're doing your own thing. On the floor side, I do wish they offered more options or guidance to those who have injuries and can't do some movements. I understand it's a large class so it's not feasible but it's something to note. All in all, it was a good workout and I'd visit again BUT would still pick Barry's over this one.

Never thought I would do either. The coaches are so so nice. They will correct your form (I appreciate this a lot). I have only been to this location fyi. Initially, when you walk in, there's a white board that tells you the duration of the workout/rest periods, and how many laps and/or stations there are. There are cubbies for your stuff, and each cubby has a charger for your phone. They also have small towels for the workout class. There are also drinks and food if you're interested. Lastly, they have two bathrooms with showers. When class starts, the coach will do a quick run through of each station. Every class is so different. Not repetitive like OTF. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are cardio days. Tuesdays and Thursday's are (lifting) weight days. You can take a quick breather during class but they will cheer you on to finish the time out. You're there for a workout, after all. Usually if you are lost at the station, you can just copy the person next to you or look confused and the coach will come and show you again. Classes can include boxjumps, ski erg, rowers, weights, benches, resistance bands. Clases are usually 45 mins to an hour. What I like about this is that you're not waiting for the previous class to finish. They are usually gone, everything is wiped down/reset, and easy parking. I really love the community and the other members as well. The camaraderie is unmatched. They are all so nice, friendly, and welcoming. We are all shapes, sizes, and skin colors and working on our goals. I love that there are two water refill stations, two treadmills, a stair master, and a massage chair. Many accoutrements!
