    I truly enjoyed attending The Camp Oceanside. I first did their Valentine's Day Tough Love 21 days challenge which was a great introduction to the Camp. I enjoyed the workouts as they pushed me but I felt accomplished on having been able to actually do them after 2 years of illness and injuries. I decided to then do the 6 week 20lb challenge. I found the staff, trainers, and others that go friendly and encouraging. There were many people like me who weren't in shape and trying to be as well as those who were gym lovers. I was able to successfully lose 22.5lbs on the 6-week challenge even being at home due to the stay at home order due to COVID-19. I know that this is due to the encouragement from the staff, trainers and fellow members and challengers who also were on quarantine as well. I highly recommend The Camp Oceanside and the 6-week program to anyone looking to lose weight and needs a lot of support, inspiration, community feel and accountability.

    So I recently finished my 6- week hard body challenge this past Monday. It was an incredible experience where I learned a lot about what my body needed, I learned about macros, hydration, and nutrition. I learned a bunch of simple but effective exercises, warm-ups, and cool down stretches. This program was super easy to follow and it's filled with awesome people that motivate you to push yourself every single day. I loved the mentality of leaving everything at the door and being there in the moment where the only thing that matters is you and your workouts. The staff is a bunch of friendly professionals that add their own spin to the workouts making them different and interesting every single session. I highly recommend trying this out if you need to make some changes to your lifestyle. Thanks to everyone at Camp Oceanside for everything!! You guys are awesome!! Keep kicking ass!! PS: if you're curious about my results, I Followed The Damn Instructions, did my workouts every weekday and lost 6.7% BF in 6 weeks

    My first week on the 6 week challenge and feeling good! I had a couple days were I doubted myself but I got right back on the horse. Excited for my weigh in on Monday & to see my progress The end of week 4 & I'm feeling great. I finally can get through a full 45 minute workout and keep up!     Signing up for one of The Camp Transformation Center Oceanside Challenges was probably one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I was originally thinking of signing up for the 6 week 20lb weight loss challenge but was suggested that I do the 6 week Hardbody Challenge instead (to lose 5% body fat) and so I followed their suggestion. After going to the orientation I felt a bit nervous after going over the food list & portions, eating schedule as well as the workout requirements...Once I started my challenge all the nervousness went away because the Coaches, Staff and other members made it so much fun. The coaches lead us through awesome workouts. They challenged me to bring myself up a notch (and I truly appreciate it). The staff always answered any questions I had. The members are so much fun to workout with and the encouragement given to each other was the best. In the end I met and surpassed the 5% body fat loss and lost about 10lbs If you find yourself walking by The Camp Transformation Oceanside time and time again contemplating whether to try it out or join please do so you'll be happy you did. #selfcare #6weekhardbodychallenge #thecamposide #ftdi #cantstopwontstop

    If you are reading this because you're someone considering making a life change or looking to find a fitness program to challenge you, change the way you view fitness, life, the definition of family...then welcome to your new fitness program!! I am a second time challenger and have been coming to the camp for 12 weeks. I am at the end of my second challenge and so far I have a total weight loss of 28 pounds. The program itself is absolutely amazing! But the true value and reason I have changed my life is because of the people at this camp. The staff and fellow challengers and members have become family. The workouts are HIIT style workouts and are designed to burn more calories, post workout. Certain days are designed to target certain body areas. No workouts are ever the same. We do something different every day. Your trainers are knowledgeable and help get you from a basic level to a high impact level when they can see your ready and they know lol. They are amazing!! For most of us, we found ourselves here because we were tired of feeling a certain way. Through them, they helped you see that this is more than just about losing weight. This became about believing in yourself and gaining confidence when you felt you had none left. Don't get me wrong...YOU do the work, but they believe in you before you can see it in yourself. That kind of support moves mountains and I am forever grateful for the experience and these people. They have become such an amazing light and part of my new life. I can only hope the person reading this is willing to take a chance, take a risk, come and see for yourself! I didn't get paid to write this review but I feel it's my responsibility to pay it forward and share this amazing experience and place with as many of you as I can. You deserve to have a life you love, you deserve to look in the mirror and love what you see, you deserve to know that YOU ARE WORTH IT and can achieve whatever your goals are!! Don't wait!     I'm sooo thankful that I started getting Facebook messages showing THE CAMP TRANSFORMATION CENTER that was going to be opening in October 2015. Unfortunately, opening a new business in Oceanside can be delayed.... EXCITED they opened in January. Monday will be my 3rd week in the 6 week Challenge. I have to say that the Trainers are AMAZING and supportive. I've met some amazing people that all have the same goals.... getting fit and healthy. I knew I was out of shape.... I mean LOOK AT all of my reviews... I'M a FOODIE! I was shocked at some of the things I could NOT do... but, I LOOK forward to being able to do them in the future... because I CAN'T STOP... WON'T STOP!!!!! I will be updating my review at the End of my 6 weeks and hoping I say- I've lost 20lbs and that I'm rolling over to another 6 week Challenge!!! Cheers!

When I first started, I'll admit--I had a lot of anxiety because gyms can be intimidating! But after just a short time here, I realized NCFP is the complete opposite of scary. The instructors are incredibly friendly and supportive. They're great about helping you maintain good form and encouraging you to push yourself, but without ever making you feel pressured. One of my favorite things is how they always offer modifications for exercises, so no matter your comfort level or experience, you can still get a great workout. You're encouraged to go at your own pace, which makes such a difference for anyone who's new or nervous. The classes are usually set up in 4 stations with 2-3 exercises each, which keeps it simple but effective. The workouts change every day, so it never feels repetitive, and I've honestly started looking forward to my classes every week. I only go 2-3 times a week, but it has completely transformed my health. When I first started, I couldn't do a single pushup--now I can do 10+! I want to give a huge shoutout to the coaches--everyone is amazing, but I especially enjoy my time with Atheena & Mike. Mike always brings such great energy and gives me a boost of confidence, and Atheena gives the best instruction on form and technique. If you're anxious, shy, or new to working out, I cannot recommend this gym enough. The classes give you structure, the coaches give you guidance, and you can still keep to yourself if you want--yet somehow, you'll still feel part of the community. I've even started saying hi to people in class now! The flexible class times are another huge plus--whether you're an early bird who wants to work out at 4 AM or a night owl like me, they have you covered. One year ago, I couldn't picture myself this strong or confident, and I truly have NCFP to thank for that.

Plus it's all women, so if I look like caca, no one gives a crap. If you're hard core and you want the serious push that being in a class with men might give you...well, that's nice, but our trainer Erin has been super sweet and encouraging, but still pushy enough to make us all just a little worried about what we're in for each morning. In the past two weeks, I've seen some improvement in all aspects, if I loose some inches at the end I'll definitely update with a skanky bikini shot. Not reary. UPDATE: OK, turns out what I really liked was my trainer- I found her again at MIRR Fitness and I'm still doing the 7am T-Th class. Erin Leonardo is awesome!

They really should update their hours on ClassPass. This should be a one-star review, but I am not a member so I thought it to be unfair to leave such a low rating. I truly want to like this place, as the owner is amazing and workouts are effective, but it falls way below my expectations. The Wednesday I did get to experience the full body workout, it was super fun! I left quite sore from shoveling with weights and throwing medicine balls around. There were two members with me, so our group was small. I really liked that because the coach could correct my form quickly for me. Two of the three times I signed up through ClassPass, nobody showed up. One was a 5:15 am class, the other was a 5:00 pm. It seems the very thing I initially loved about this gym is the thing that's causing classes to not be held- there's not enough members to make it worth their time to keep them open. Overall, I would love to return to workout with these guys, but I don't really like sitting and waiting in an empty industrial park by myself, wondering if the class is going to happen or not.

I still have another 50 pounds to lose and I'll continue training here because I know that I can make it happen!

Occasionally I hired a trainer, sometimes through a gym, sometimes not, but I never really felt any huge results. I started a walking 5 years ago and that has been good. Changing my diet to low carb and walking regularly, helped me lose 40+ pounds over the last year. Now I needed to build muscle, get toned, and work on balance and posture. My upper body is weak, I lost tone (and my butt) with this last weight loss. As I age I notice small losses in balance. My posture has been an issue most of my life. I did research. The first trainer I hired, who was less expensive, gave me cookie cutter exercises and didn't push me. Maybe he thought I was too old. Then I hired Nicky. She is not easy on me, but goes at my pace. If I can't do something, she modifies it so I can be successful and still get the benefits. I am amazed at every workout with her depth of knowledge. Working together we have uncovered some issues I didn't know I had and we are working to correct them. When I started having a weird issue, we both researched it and she suggested I see a PT to confirm what we both suspect. I like that she researched the issue and also that she knows her limitations. She says, " I'm not a PT. They study for years. But I know training. " I'm feeling stronger in just a few months. My posture has visibly improved. I didn't expect to see a difference so quickly. She takes measurements and checks for muscle increase periodically. It's not required, but I like to see data. I'm pretty knowledgeable about nutrition, but she made some suggestions. I lost a few more pounds, even though that is not my primary goal at this point. I just want to be stronger and more toned. I want to live healthy into old age and I believe having a strong body is absolutely essential. If you want results and not just go through the motions, give Nicky a shout. If you are willing to work and want to work with someone knowledgeable, she's a great choice. Her workouts are tailored to each client. She will make sure you are safe and provide encouragement.

Nicky took the time to go over what my current diet was and how I could lose weight with some pretty simple meal adjustments she help set up a nutrition program through an app and we programmed in a sample day for me to start with. She was able to explain where my current meal routine was way too high in certain macros and why shifting and excluding items would help me to lose weight and be more healthy. Ultimately I would love to get some resistance training done with her but her schedule was full. I would highly recommend her for nutritional advice and the reasoning behind making the right choices!
