My favorite gym. I love the energy and atmosphere. The coaches truly inspire and motivate you to push yourself and finish each workout. This is the friendliest gym I have ever been to! The coaches all know my name and capabilities (and when to push me) and the atmosphere is supportive and fun. I truly enjoyed attending The Camp Oceanside. I first did their Valentine's Day Tough Love 21 days challenge which was a great introduction to the Camp. I enjoyed the workouts as they pushed me but I felt accomplished on having been able to actually do them after 2 years of illness and injuries. I decided to then do the 6 week 20lb challenge. I found the staff, trainers, and others that go friendly and encouraging. There were many people like me who weren't in shape and trying to be as well as those who were gym lovers. I was able to successfully lose 22.5lbs on the 6-week challenge even being at home due to the stay at home order due to COVID-19. I know that this is due to the encouragement from the staff, trainers and fellow members and challengers who also were on quarantine as well. 9/02/19 Happy Monday and happy tears as I write my post. Here are the results of my 6 week hardbody challenge at The Camp Transformation Center - Oceanside. I signed up to lose the 3% body fat but set a personal goal to drop more. I dropped 5% body fat and 14.1 lbs in 6 weeks and made my goal! Totals since I began this journey just 13 weeks ago, 38.6 lbs and 14.3% body fat and countless non-scale victories mentally, emotionally, and physically Those that are on this fitness journey know and it's incredible. Something I wish you'll all experience at some point. I still have lots of work to do but I am on my way. Sending loads of love to my amazing kiddos, family, friends, all of the trainers, directors, staff, and my AFF not only at Camp Oceanside but everyone who's inspiring me!!! You know who you are! So I recently finished my 6- week hard body challenge this past Monday. It was an incredible experience where I learned a lot about what my body needed, I learned about macros, hydration, and nutrition. I learned a bunch of simple but effective exercises, warm-ups, and cool down stretches. This program was super easy to follow and it's filled with awesome people that motivate you to push yourself every single day. I loved the mentality of leaving everything at the door and being there in the moment where the only thing that matters is you and your workouts. The staff is a bunch of friendly professionals that add their own spin to the workouts making them different and interesting every single session. Signing up for one of The Camp Transformation Center Oceanside Challenges was probably one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I was originally thinking of signing up for the 6 week 20lb weight loss challenge but was suggested that I do the 6 week Hardbody Challenge instead (to lose 5% body fat) and so I followed their suggestion. After going to the orientation I felt a bit nervous after going over the food list & portions, eating schedule as well as the workout requirements...Once I started my challenge all the nervousness went away because the Coaches, Staff and other members made it so much fun. The coaches lead us through awesome workouts. They challenged me to bring myself up a notch (and I truly appreciate it). The staff always answered any questions I had. The members are so much fun to workout with and the encouragement given to each other was the best. I had attended the gym for about 3.5 months, I signed up for a class and was put on a waitlist. I was never notified that I was moved to the class and the next day I was charged for missing the class, when I reached out to the owner she said come in and she will give me free stuff. REALLY? I did enjoy the instructors, they were very good but I am an ethics person and charging me for something that I did not sign up for nor notified that you moved me to is unethical and is the reason that I left the business. There are too many professional people running gym's to be treated like this. Very unprofessional move. I believe in Karma and how you treat people you get back 10fold. I hope and wish them the best, but with practices like that, something tells me their future is not going to be to bright. read more

The Camp in Oceanside has become my favorite new daily activity, they are like family for me and helped me get back to a healthy weight. The trainers are awesome, they push and motivate everyone! The music get going and they switch things up so you're not bored! Again, the entire staff is awesome and somehow manages to memorize everyone's name. I joined because I'm 53 and hit the heaviest weight in my life. My lab results were not good and in the three short months that I've been at camp transformation, I've lost weight and got down to 120/70 on my blood pressure. I highly encourage anyone to at least stop by or give it a try! I'm very grateful for the Camp, which is part of my investment in my health! The Camp has really changed the way I go about my life. I needed a whole lifestyle overhaul so that I could lose weight and get more energy. I love these workouts because the music is so fun and energizing and the Instructors are positive, highly trained and inspiring. Also, the Instructors quick to help me when I use bad form. This has prevented me from injuring. I have never received this kind of specialized attention when I've had a personal trainer at LA fitness or all the gyms I've belonged to for the last 25 years. A lot of this is up to you if you truly want to lose weight and feel good. You have to show up when you plan to show up for classes and you must watch what you're eating. I'm sooo thankful that I started getting Facebook messages showing THE CAMP TRANSFORMATION CENTER that was going to be opening in October 2015. Unfortunately, opening a new business in Oceanside can be delayed.... EXCITED they opened in January. Monday will be my 3rd week in the 6 week Challenge. I have to say that the Trainers are AMAZING and supportive. I've met some amazing people that all have the same goals.... getting fit and healthy. I knew I was out of shape.... Final weigh in was on 4/6/15 and by following the camp's "emergency" instructions, I was able to meet my 20 pound goal!! Proof that you just need to show up and trust their process. Through the six week program, I've had a to travel twice and had a death in the family the last weekend of my challenge. Each time I came across an obstacle, Mitch (the Oceanside camp director), and all the trainers worked with me to be sure I could still meet my goal. The program is tough, it challenges you mentally and physically, but if you stick with it you'll get results, will feel great about yourself and what your body can do, and you might find yourself loving the workouts! The fact that you've got a deposit to work for helps to keep you going too. I am a second time challenger and have been coming to the camp for 12 weeks. I am at the end of my second challenge and so far I have a total weight loss of 28 pounds. The program itself is absolutely amazing! But the true value and reason I have changed my life is because of the people at this camp. The staff and fellow challengers and members have become family. The workouts are HIIT style workouts and are designed to burn more calories, post workout. Certain days are designed to target certain body areas. No workouts are ever the same. We do something different every day. Your trainers are knowledgeable and help get you from a basic level to a high impact level when they can see your ready and they know lol. They are amazing!! For most of us, we found ourselves here because we were tired of feeling a certain way. Through them, they helped you see that this is more than just about losing weight. This became about believing in yourself and gaining confidence when you felt you had none left. Don't get me wrong...YOU do the work, but they believe in you before you can see it in yourself. I love this place. I just finished my third six week challenge and have lost a total of sixty eight pounds. I went from a size twenty two down to a size sixteen and have had to buy a new wardrobe. I was greeted by Bianca who explained things to me and I ended up signing up for the 21 Day Detox before the next 6 Week, 20 LB Challenge was starting. I was glad that I got to get my body a little more used to the workouts before the 6 Week Challenge started. This place is a joke. The fact that they do mandatory check-ins on a social media platform to provide free advertising through you is such crap. I don't recommend this place to anybody. Literally any loophole is used to keep your money. Some of the trainers actually seem like they know what they're doing whereas others barely seem like they know anything. Also they like to push their products which is kind of a laughing matter in its own. Considering you can literally Drive 2 seconds down the street to an actual nutrition shop and get better advice from those people then the Clowns at the camp. If you're serious about losing weight go to an actual gym with personal trainers and don't risk losing $500 to fine print. Or better yet look up any hit cardio video on YouTube and do it at home and just diet right save yourself from these scammers. Literally the only good part about this place as you meet some cool people who are trying to do the same thing mission wise. Beware of all the Yelp reviews here: it's a compulsory requirement as part of the program. This program, however, is actually a scam. To explain my 1 star review: my wife participated in the 6 week "20 lb weight loss challenge" in which the high level gist is that you pay a deposit and get the money back if you lose over 20 lbs. The misleading component, however, is that while that high level gist is explained verbally, the wording in the contract that you signed carries other stipulations that in our case, was never clearly articulated. My wife lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks, and we did not receive the money back because of technicalities in the contract. I was furious about this, I spoke to the director, Emma Torres on the phone. Sensing my anger, rather than try to work something out, she instead tried to sell me on additional programs. She refused to refund the money even though my wife was one of the few among several dozen that lost over 20 lbs, and her exact words to me at the end of the phone call was: "we saved her". This makes me want to express that we don't need saving, especially from this program. The entire premise of losing 20 lbs in 6 weeks to begin with is rather absurd since healthy weight loss is generally capped at 2 lbs per week. read more

Challenge #1 completed, lost 23 pounds in 6 weeks & gained discipline, confidence & aff community in fitness that strives to make their health a priority from all walks of life, it's so encouraging to see different people of different ages & backgrounds come together to push themselves to reach their fitness goals & make health a priority. I will be honest I didn't want to join the camp, I was comfortable were I was & I didn't want push myself to any level of discomfort. I had excuses, " I workout already" " I am good" " I don't need this"....seeing my friends commitment to change her lifestyle & sign up right away inspired me to do the same & leave the excuses.
