We signed up for a day pass at the Auto Parkway location, and the girl at the front was extremely nice. It gave us a good expectation of the gym and it had everything we needed. We decided to sign up for the gym membership at this location & it was waaay bigger, spacious, and had more equipment we needed. We've been coming here for almost 2 months now and we were able to see the renovations of the new gym equipment being added and the space just being organized a lot better. I'm actually very impressed with the cleanliness and how new the equipment is here. The black club membership is honestly a steal. Although headquarters is only 20 minutes away, NO ONE has lifted a finger to clean. I'm posting today's photos showing toilet stalls and a shower stall that has horrid, used Q-tips that were there since 12/5, maybe earlier. I hate to imagine how the ladies react to their areas. It's been some time since I've been to this location so an update is in order…read more What hasn't changed: the locker rooms, bathroom, sinks, showers, still a little dingy and not always clean. Functional. What has changed: the basketball court is gone and that area is now for almost all of the free weights. Downstairs where the aerobics machines (bikes, treadmills) were is now a turf area for free weight leg work, and also sleds to push or drag, along with some abs machines. Upstairs the number of strength conditioning machines has increased. TRX is up here too along with some light weights. Over all, if you want to get a serious weight workout in, everything is here. No frills, nothing fancy, and maybe it gets crowded at peak hours, but at least now there are duplicates of many machines and weight stations to try to handle the excess traffic. I went on a Sunday late afternoon, gym wasn't crowded. Weekdays at 5pm and early mornings especially weekend mornings, I assume it is very crowded.

The indoor basketball court is completely gone and replaced by a weight room and the indoor cycling room is now a recovery room with massage chairs. The cardio room is now upstairs and the new layout makes it feel very spacious. Everything looks great and I hope they continue to keep it clean and maintain the machines, because a lot of them break down often and are out of order for months, especially since the 24 Hour Fitness at the North County mall permanently closed down last week, this location has been packed with people. They used to have tons of parking in their private lot, and parking was never an issue, but it's hard to find parking even in the morning or afternoon, unless you're willing to wait for someone to leave. Overall it's great for a workout.

People come in ready to move and have a good time, and it's easy to just be yourself without feeling judged. The music and energy build in a way that makes the workout go by fast, and before you know it you're sweating without even realizing how much work you put in. It's a solid class and a good way to start or end the day. Outside of class, the gym itself has been great. It's clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The manager Yvette is always so sweet and helpful. You can tell she really cares about the members and keeps the place running smoothly.
