This was my second time at The Candle Pour. My first time was in Tampa. It's always a great time here. The workers are very nice and I think it is just overall a great and fun experience. If you go at night, you need to go back the next day to pick up your candle. So if you don't have time to do that, I recommend going in the morning or around lunch and then spending the day downtown... Then you can pick it up when you are done exploring! read more

This was actually a complete vibe. I've done candle pouring before but this spot is definitely an elevated experience. I don't remember the young ladies' name who take care of us, but she was amazing. I opted to do the single wick for $38, but I loved that it still had options for the color vessel. There are so many scents to choose from and it really helps that the expert team members are on hand to help you finalize. I loved how my candle turned out. I wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

Spending the week with industry friends at an event and one of the ladies invited us to join a group of 12 to go make candles. Now not something I would ordinarily go and think of but what the heck! So we show up to this immaculately clean storefront on Central and the folks are so welcoming. show us what to do and away we go about a 2 to 3 hour event of candle making with the large group. They have a wall filled with sense you choose from and the ones you like and they had ozwns to choose from, you bring to the Pour team and they make suggestions on how to combine the sense to get the best one. BYO Wine if you like. Fun time had by all and a great time had by all! Cheaper than a dinner out so not to bad on price. Plus I was paired with Dennis who made the experience fun! read more

As the Candle Pour's (self-proclaimed) #1 fan, I had to check out their St. Pete location. Situated on Central Ave in the heart of downtown, it is the perfect location for doing an activity, grabbing a bite of food or a drink, and then picking up your completed product and calling it a successful day. The service was friendly, insightful, and consistent with the other locations. My visit was for a work holiday party (employers, take note!) and it was the perfect way to catch up with coworkers, meet unfamiliar faces, and do something other than eat. I made a candle to gift to my sibling, and the team was tremendously helpful at helping me find a scent combination that was right for my intended recipient who has preferences that are completely opposite of mine. I ended up creating a 2 wick candle ($45 value) with an intoxicating blend of almond, Madagascar vanilla, baked bread, and warm apple pie. It is the perfect gift for yourself or others, plus it is personal and thoughtful. I eagerly await my next Candle Pour experience! read more

Loved this experience at the St Pete Candle Pour! The last few times I made a candle at a diff location I ended up not being a fan of the scents I picked, this time I went a different route and stuck with more earthy/floral scents and I loveeee my candle! The ladies were super great that helped us choose our mixes and direct us how to finish our candle scents! I got the smaller clear candle but they had a bunch of options and next time I might need to get a larger candle since I loved my scents I picked so much! read more

This location is in a hip location in St. Pete and the ambiance of this store is very appealing. It's very organized and clean. The employees are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. They have many different items to choose from (different sized candles, wax melts, etc.) I created my very own two-wick candle with my very own creation of a scent I personally picked out. Great little date night for me and the Mrs. It was very enjoyable. The deposit is refunded or goes toward your purchase. We made 2 candles which we are each obsessed with. Organized a ladies night out for candle pouring with 8 girlfriends and we had such a great time! The space is beautiful, so many scents to choose from and the staff is super helpful. Before stepping in I assumed it would be more expensive but I find for the quality, the price is very reasonable. The oils are high quality, they use soy wax, and you get to choose your vessel type and color to further customize your creation. The only up-charges are for accessories and decals or jars where proceeds are donated to local charities. Staff was knowledgable about the oils and were able to make suggestions when needed to improve our custom blends. All this for the price of what you'd pay for a large candle at a store or market but without the experience making it! Many of us have already spread the word and plan to come back with family members and friends. Definitely try it!! read more
